a_o love_n of_o holiness_n and_o desire_v to_o please_v god_n yet_o who_o find_v not_o what_o a_o stir_n he_o have_v to_o bring_v himself_o to_o any_o good_a duty_n prayer_n meditation_n examination_n of_o his_o heart_n etc._n etc._n or_o when_o we_o be_v bring_v to_o do_v good_a thing_n yet_o to_o do_v they_o in_o a_o right_a manner_n but_o the_o heart_n will_v be_v go_v especial_o in_o all_o thing_n and_o in_o our_o whole_a conversation_n therefore_o no_o marvel_n though_o the_o holy_a ghost_n dwell_v long_o upon_o it_o 1._o this_o teach_v we_o minister_n in_o weighty_a point_n 1_o to_o dwell_v as_o it_o be_v upon_o they_o and_o not_o slide_v from_o they_o too_o quick_o to_o urge_v they_o again_o and_o again_o question_v their_o heart_n whether_o indeed_o they_o will_v do_v so_o and_o so_o or_o not_o etc._n etc._n 2._o people_n 2._o when_o they_o perceive_v their_o minister_n so_o to_o urge_v such_o and_o such_o a_o point_n 40._o they_o must_v consider_v it_o the_o more_o oppression_n simony_n sacrilege_n cozenage_n lie_v swear_v etc._n etc._n other_o for_o a_o bare_a live_n and_o maintenance_n o_o poor_a woeful_a creature_n they_o know_v not_o what_o they_o do_v they_o be_v like_o young_a heir_n that_o know_v not_o the_o worth_n of_o their_o inheritance_n and_o so_o part_v with_o all_o to_o some_o cozen_a companion_n for_o a_o horse_n dog_n or_o hawk_n nothing_o to_o the_o true_a worth_n of_o it_o and_o then_o fret_v to_o think_v that_o they_o have_v such_o a_o live_a whereby_o they_o may_v have_v live_v in_o good_a fashion_n all_o their_o life_n and_o now_o it_o be_v go_v and_o they_o have_v nothing_o but_o like_o profane_a esau_n have_v lose_v their_o birthright_n o_o if_o man_n know_v the_o worth_n of_o their_o soul_n they_o will_v then_o despise_v the_o whole_a world_n if_o it_o be_v offer_v for_o they_o 10._o but_o a_o omnia_fw-la dabo_fw-la pull_v most_o of_o the_o world_n upon_o their_o knee_n to_o worship_v the_o devil_n many_o shopkeeper_n say_v they_o will_v not_o give_v their_o lie_v for_o forty_o pound_n a_o year_n but_o poor_a blind_a creature_n young_a heir_n if_o they_o gate_n forty_o thousand_o pound_n a_o year_n god_n never_o mean_v such_o as_o preach_v god_n word_n but_o so_o mingle_v with_o man_n invention_n as_o they_o preach_v not_o god_n word_n but_o their_o own_o fancy_n thus_o many_o stuff_n their_o sermon_n with_o authority_n of_o man_n as_o of_o heathen_a poet_n philosopher_n historian_n and_o that_o in_o strange_a tongue_n which_o though_o turn_v into_o english_a yet_o what_o a_o loss_n of_o time_n what_o a_o break_n of_o the_o people_n attention_n must_v there_o needs_o be_v hereby_o what_o thrust_v upon_o people_n man_n authority_n use_v indeed_o may_v be_v make_v of_o those_o in_o they_o believe_v it_o to_o be_v god_n word_n even_o by_o be_v first_o in_o the_o practice_n thereof_o and_o obedience_n thereto_o 1._o this_o serve_v to_o reprove_v divers_a 1_o as_o namely_o those_o
