faith_n now_o the_o reason_n why_o the_o devil_n labour_v so_o much_o against_o our_o faith_n be_v because_o we_o can_v true_o rely_v upon_o god_n mercy_n nor_o depend_v upon_o his_o providence_n nor_o yield_v any_o acceptable_a obedience_n to_o his_o commandment_n unless_o we_o believe_v his_o word_n more_o particular_o we_o be_v to_o observe_v that_o special_a branch_n of_o god_n word_n that_o in_o england_n god_n have_v his_o true_a church_n for_o let_v the_o corruption_n of_o our_o church_n be_v as_o they_o be_v yet_o shall_v it_o match_v jerusalem_n in_o the_o prerogative_n of_o god_n church_n they_o have_v the_o law_n and_o the_o prophet_n read_v and_o expound_v so_o have_v we_o and_o the_o gospel_n also_o which_o be_v the_o power_n of_o god_n to_o man_n salvation_n they_o have_v the_o sacrament_n and_o ceremony_n of_o the_o law_n answerable_a thereto_o we_o have_v the_o sacrament_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o also_o a_o true_a and_o holy_a form_n of_o serve_v god_n shall_v say_v this_o make_v well_o for_o the_o church_n of_o rome_n if_o so_o corrupt_v a_o place_n as_o jerusalem_n in_o regard_n of_o church_n prerogative_n be_v a_o holy_a city_n for_o they_o have_v as_o many_o prerogative_n for_o religion_n as_o the_o jew_n than_o have_v and_o therefore_o be_v the_o church_n of_o god_n and_o so_o we_o do_v not_o well_o to_o separate_v from_o they_o answ._n some_o indeed_o that_o be_v no_o papist_n say_v the_o church_n of_o rome_n be_v the_o church_n of_o god_n but_o the_o truth_n be_v the_o present_a church_n of_o rome_n be_v spiritual_a babylon_n babylon_n the_o mother_n of_o abomination_n no_o spouse_n of_o christ_n but_o a_o strumpet_n but_o they_o plead_v their_o prerogative_n as_o first_o their_o succession_n from_o peter_n church_n of_o god_n though_o they_o use_v it_o again_o the_o thief_n may_v show_v the_o true_a man_n purse_n but_o that_o prove_v he_o not_o to_o be_v true_a and_o honest_a no_o more_o do_v baptism_n justify_v the_o church_n of_o rome_n to_o be_v a_o true_a church_n last_o though_o they_o have_v outward_a baptism_n yet_o indeed_o they_o overthrow_v inward_a baptism_n the_o life_n of_o that_o
