conscience_n shall_v never_o approve_v but_o their_o last_o gasp_n shall_v carry_v that_o horror_n with_o it_o that_o if_o it_o may_v after_o outward_o appear_v will_v manifest_o testify_v that_o as_o the_o cause_n for_o which_o they_o suffer_v be_v in_o itself_o wicked_a their_o punishment_n legal_o and_o just_o deserve_v and_o inflict_v their_o patience_n will_v show_v itself_o a_o kind_n of_o desperate_a run_n headlong_o into_o their_o own_o perdition_n leave_v then_o these_o man_n to_o their_o own_o diabolical_a strength_n let_v we_o hope_v in_o the_o lord_n let_v we_o pray_v to_o become_v strong_a in_o he_o faithful_a in_o he_o and_o true_o patient_a in_o he_o in_o all_o our_o suffering_n for_o there_o be_v no_o commendable_a suffering_n for_o evil_n do_v and_o therefore_o say_v s._n paul_n speak_v to_o the_o faithful_a let_v none_o of_o you_o suffer_v as_o a_o murderer_n or_o a_o thief_n etc._n etc._n but_o if_o any_o man_n suffer_v as_o a_o christian_a namely_o for_o christ_n gospel_n sake_n and_o for_o well_o do_v let_v he_o not_o be_v ashamed_a but_o let_v he_o glorify_v god_n in_o this_o behalf_n namely_o that_o he_o be_v account_v worthy_a to_o suffer_v for_o the_o truth_n of_o christ._n hope_v in_o the_o lord_n here_o be_v our_o confidence_n be_v strong_a here_o be_v our_o constancy_n and_o he_o shall_v comfort_v thy_o heart_n here_o be_v the_o end_n of_o hope_n and_o strength_n comfort_n of_o the_o heart_n whosoever_o then_o hope_v of_o help_n from_o any_o inferior_a creature_n nay_o from_o a_o angel_n in_o heaven_n and_o exclude_v god_n or_o stand_v upon_o his_o own_o strength_n wealth_n wisdom_n friend_n or_o worldly_a policy_n and_o think_v by_o these_o or_o any_o of_o these_o to_o be_v free_v from_o danger_n ease_v in_o trouble_n or_o reléeve_v in_o want_n exempt_n god_n nay_o if_o he_o take_v not_o the_o counsel_n of_o god_n by_o the_o direction_n of_o his_o word_n and_o prayer_n his_o hope_n will_v prove_v but_o a_o shadow_n and_o his_o strength_n as_o the_o strength_n of_o a_o bulrush_n david_n bend_v his_o eye_n from_o all_o these_o to_o the_o love_n power_n and_o providence_n of_o god_n in_o who_o and_o who_o aid_n he_o only_o take_v for_o his_o strength_n assure_v himself_o that_o he_o will_v not_o only_o send_v he_o outward_a relief_n according_a to_o his_o hope_n but_o with_o inward_a joy_n and_o consolation_n comfort_v his_o heart_n therefore_o do_v he_o encourage_v himself_o and_o other_o to_o hope_v in_o the_o lord_n and_o not_o in_o carnal_a mean_n to_o be_v strong_a in_o faith_n in_o and_o partly_o in_o other_o mean_n be_v not_o the_o hope_n that_o tie_v the_o promise_n of_o the_o true_a comfort_n but_o that_o hope_n that_o be_v confirm_v and_o make_v strong_a by_o faith_n to_o though_o cross_n without_o and_o grief_n within_o do_v oppress_v he_o though_o friend_n sail_v he_o and_o every_o thing_n seem_v to_o go_v against_o he_o and_o he_o be_v deprive_v of_o all_o visible_a mean_n to_o escape_v there_o remain_v yet_o hope_v in_o the_o lord_n to_o be_v patient_a and_o not_o to_o faint_v this_o hope_n be_v the_o gift_n of_o god_n but_o there_o be_v a_o hope_n that_o be_v common_a to_o carnal_a man_n they_o hope_v upon_o some_o probability_n see_v or_o conceive_v as_o the_o hope_n of_o a_o son_n for_o the_o inheritance_n of_o a_o father_n or_o a_o friend_n for_o something_o upon_o death_n to_o be_v give_v they_o and_o the_o like_a this_o be_v not_o that_o hope_n that_o david_n mean_n when_o he_o say_v hope_n but_o a_o certain_a kind_n of_o uncertain_a expectation_n of_o thing_n desire_v but_o david_n hope_n be_v a_o save_a hope_n necessary_o join_v with_o say_v and_o a_o patient_a wait_a for_o that_o which_o we_o steadfast_o believe_v shall_v come_v to_o pass_v and_o in_o nothing_o be_v the_o force_n of_o faith_n and_o hope_v more_o see_v or_o feel_v than_o in_o affliction_n and_o trial_n for_o these_o bring_v forth_o patience_n and_o patience_n experience_n and_o experience_n hope_v which_o make_v the_o godly_a to_o rejoice_v in_o tribulation_n wherein_o be_v glory_n and_o no_o shame_n whereas_o in_o carnal_a hope_n there_o be_v often_o shame_n and_o seldom_o glory_n saint_n paul_n be_v so_o far_o from_o be_v ashamed_a of_o his_o affliction_n as_o he_o glory_v in_o they_o for_o the_o hope_n sake_n that_o be_v set_v before_o we_o all_o of_o a_o most_o excellent_a issue_n and_o end_n of_o our_o hope_n and_o as_o through_o the_o holy_a ghost_n the_o god_n of_o hope_n plentiful_o fill_v paul_n with_o joy_n and_o strength_n even_o in_o his_o affliction_n and_o with_o peace_n in_o believe_v the_o promise_n whereby_o he_o abound_v in_o hope_n that_o all_o his_o trouble_n trial_n and_o affliction_n shall_v end_v with_o comfort_n so_o let_v we_o pray_v unto_o the_o same_o god_n of_o hope_n to_o be_v fill_v with_o like_a hope_n that_o our_o affliction_n may_v likewise_o end_v in_o comfort_n which_o though_o we_o
