of_o people_n do_v flourish_v or_o ever_o shall_v or_o can_v with_o excellent_a enduement_n of_o either_o piety_n or_o knowledge_n which_o deny_v these_o two_o testimony_n of_o truth_n see_v they_o be_v the_o very_a principal_a mean_n and_o ordinance_n of_o god_n which_o he_o have_v appoint_v as_o through_o conduit_n to_o convey_v both_o pi●…y_n and_o knowledge_n and_o all_o other_o heavenly_a and_o death_n reign_v in_o it_o and_o a_o thick_a cloud_n of_o darkness_n fill_v it_o and_o very_o few_o there_o be_v who_o know_v by_o sensible_a experience_n the_o life_n kernel_n and_o substance_n of_o the_o christian_a religion_n among_o all_o the_o many_o profession_n in_o it_o and_o that_o small_a remnant_n who_o do_v know_v any_o thing_n thereof_o it_o be_v very_o weak_o and_o faint_o and_o their_o sight_n of_o the_o thing_n of_o god_n be_v but_o like_o the_o poor_a blind_a man_n half_a sight_n after_o christ_n have_v a_o little_a cure_v he_o who_o see_v man_n walk_v as_o tree_n the_o reason_n of_o all_o this_o have_v be_v the_o ignorance_n of_o and_o opposition_n unto_o these_o two_o testimony_n aforesaid_a for_o the_o ignorance_n of_o the_o true_a manner_n of_o receive_v either_o piety_n or_o pious_a and_o godly_a wisdom_n which_o be_v by_o way_n of_o immediate_a revelation_n from_o the_o father_n by_o jesus_n christ_n through_o the_o holy_a spirit_n this_o have_v hinder_v and_o stop_v the_o growth_n and_o increase_n of_o holiness_n and_o piety_n and_o the_o wisdom_n and_o knowledge_n there_o unto_o appertain_v as_o to_o the_o intention_n i._n e._n measur_n or_o ignorance_n of_o that_o other_o bless_a testimony_n of_o truth_n concern_v the_o universality_n of_o the_o light_n word_n grace_n and_o spirit_n of_o god_n towards_o and_o upon_o all_o in_o a_o day_n of_o visitation_n for_o the_o save_n and_o endue_n they_o with_o holiness_n and_o holy_a knowlegd_v and_o wisdom_n have_v be_v a_o most_o mischievous_a hindrance_n and_o let_v unto_o the_o extension_n or_o spread_v of_o true_a piety_n and_o knowledge_n abroad_o among_o people_n in_o the_o world_n the_o ignorance_n of_o the_o one_o i_o say_v have_v hinder_v the_o intention_n of_o it_o and_o the_o ignorance_n of_o the_o other_o its_o extension_n as_o may_v be_v manifest_a to_o any_o who_o will_v consider_v these_o thing_n be_v it_o but_o with_o half_a a_o eye_n for_o what_o can_v tend_v so_o much_o to_o the_o universal_a gather_n of_o all_o the_o nation_n kingdom_n language_n and_o kindred_n of_o the_o earth_n as_o to_o hold_v forth_o this_o universal_a principle_n unto_o they_o all_o the_o light_n which_o light_v all_o and_o every_o one_o of_o they_o and_o to_o inform_v they_o that_o thereby_o and_o therethrough_a salvation_n be_v attainable_a by_o every_o one_o and_o peace_n &_o reconciliation_n with_o god_n in_o their_o belief_n of_o the_o light_n and_o obedience_n thereunto_o and_o what_o can_v more_o hinder_v this_o universal_a gather_n than_o that_o particular_a narrow_a straighten_n limit_v principle_n of_o man_n of_o a_o pettish_a narrow_a heart_n and_o spirit_n who_o say_v that_o salvation_n never_o be_v be_v nor_o shall_v be_v possible_a unto_o the_o most_o part_n of_o man_n that_o god_n by_o a_o eternal_a decree_n have_v whole_o pass_v they_o by_o and_o leave_v they_o in_o darkness_n without_o any_o light_n to_o shine_v in_o their_o darkness_n that_o can_v possible_o at_o any_o time_n lead_v they_o out_o of_o it_o do_v not_o this_o discourage_v people_n and_o rather_o lay_v a_o block_n in_o the_o way_n of_o their_o faith_n then_o to_o point_n ordirect_a they_o unto_o a_o pillar_n and_o ground_n of_o it_o yea_o do_v not_o this_o doctrine_n that_o other_o be_v add_v to_o it_o viz._n that_o immediate_a revelation_n be_v cease_v lie_v a_o much_o more_o probable_a foundation_n for_o any_o man_n unbeleif_n and_o distrust_n in_o the_o lord_n mercy_n and_o willingness_n to_o save_v he_o then_o for_o his_o faith_n thereupon_o for_o when_o any_o man_n come_v with_o a_o call_n unto_o they_o to_o beleiv_v that_o they_o may_v be_v save_v and_o therewithal_o tell_v they_o that_o god_n have_v leave_v most_o man_n without_o provide_v they_o any_o power_n and_o without_o he_o be_v not_o any_o thing_n make_v that_o be_v make_v and_o that_o in_o he_o be_v life_n and_o the_o life_n be_v the_o light_n of_o men._n in_o which_o word_n he_o declare_v two_o witness_v unto_o the_o truth_n of_o what_o be_v teach_v by_o which_o they_o can_v be_v convince_v or_o persuade_v nor_o will_v there_o be_v any_o thing_n in_o they_o by_o which_o they_o can_v do_v the_o thing_n require_v of_o they_o and_o this_o will_v indeed_o make_v all_o teach_n as_o vain_a as_o for_o a_o man_n to_o go_v teach_v the_o thing_n of_o humane_a reason_n unto_o a_o beast_n or_o to_o exhort_v it_o to_o do_v such_o and_o such_o reasonable_a thing_n because_o in_o a_o beast_n there_o be_v no_o principle_n of_o humane_a reason_n by_o which_o it_o can_v be_v reach_v either_o to_o thing_n of_o natural_a reason_n as_o in_o the_o science_n physical_a and_o mathematical_a have_v to_o teach_v in_o that_o there_o be_v a_o principle_n of_o reason_n in_o their_o scholar_n to_o answer_v unto_o the_o truth_n of_o the_o thing_n teach_v by_o they_o who_o believe_v those_o thing_n not_o simple_o because_o of_o their_o master_n authority_n but_o because_o of_o that_o evidence_n which_o the_o principle_n of_o reason_n in_o themselves_o give_v unto_o they_o and_o for_o as_o much_o as_o there_o be_v a_o universal_a principle_n of_o reason_n in_o man_n therefore_o it_o be_v that_o man_n be_v so_o useful_a unto_o one_o another_o in_o propagate_a knowledge_n in_o the_o thing_n thereof_o and_o so_o it_o be_v as_o touch_v the_o thing_n of_o faith_n and_o godliness_n because_o there_o be_v a_o universal_a principle_n of_o faith_n and_o godliness_n in_o all_o man_n which_o be_v the_o free_a gift_n of_o god_n therefore_o it_o be_v that_o man_n can_v be_v so_o useful_a unto_o one_o another_o in_o the_o propagation_n thereof_o and_o the_o knowledge_n thereunto_o appertain_v so_o that_o those_o in_o who_o this_o principle_n be_v raise_v and_o come_v to_o have_v its_o free_a course_n and_o operation_n be_v only_o appoint_v to_o be_v useful_a unto_o other_o in_o a_o ministry_n for_o the_o raise_n up_o of_o the_o same_o principle_n in_o they_o and_o
