the_o letter_n he_o do_v not_o mind_n or_o savour_v the_o spirit_n of_o they_o rom._n 8._o 5._o for_o they_o that_o be_v after_o the_o flesh_n do_v mind_n the_o thing_n of_o the_o flesh_n but_o they_o that_o be_v after_o the_o spirit_n the_o thing_n of_o the_o spirit_n a_o fair_a world_n it_o will_v be_v if_o every_o collier_n shall_v judge_v the_o privy_a council_n and_o the_o judge_n of_o the_o land_n or_o if_o every_o thief_n shall_v sit_v upon_o his_o accuser_n and_o his_o judge_n and_o every_o traitor_n shall_v judge_v the_o prince_n and_o a_o thousand-fold_n more_o insufficient_a be_v self_n to_o judge_v the_o word_n of_o god_n and_o yet_o as_o insufficient_a as_o it_o be_v it_o be_v exceed_o arrogant_a and_o step_n up_o into_o the_o judgment-seat_n at_o every_o chapter_n that_o be_v read_v or_o hear_v and_o if_o this_o blind_a and_o malicious_a judge_n be_v unsatisfied_a forsooth_o the_o scripture_n must_v be_v dark_a or_o contradictory_n or_o what_o he_o please_v this_o horrible_a presumptuous_a arrogancy_n of_o self_n be_v it_o that_o have_v open_v so_o many_o mouth_n against_o the_o bless_a doctrine_n of_o salvation_n and_o make_v so_o many_o wretched_a apostate_n in_o the_o world_n and_o cast_v so_o many_o other_o into_o doubt_n of_o that_o word_n by_o which_o at_o last_o they_o must_v be_v judge_v and_o which_o shall_v have_v be_v the_o ground_n of_o their_o faith_n and_o hope_n 4._o moreover_o self_n must_v be_v deny_v as_o it_o stand_v up_o against_o the_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n when_o christ_n be_v present_v in_o his_o wonderful_a condescension_n in_o his_o incarnation_n and_o mean_v despise_v life_n and_o in_o his_o ignominious_a death_n proud_a self_n be_v offend_v at_o so_o low_a a_o saviour_n and_o disdain_v that_o humiliation_n which_o his_o o_o down_o with_o self_n that_o christ_n may_v be_v christ_n to_o you_o how_o shall_v he_o come_v in_o while_o self_n be_v the_o porter_n that_o keep_v the_o door_n how_o shall_v he_o pardon_v you_o when_o self_n will_v not_o suffer_v you_o to_o feel_v the_o want_n and_o worth_a of_o pardon_n how_o shall_v he_o bind_v up_o your_o heart_n when_o self_n will_v not_o suffer_v they_o to_o be_v how_o shall_v he_o clothe_v you_o with_o his_o righteousness_n while_o self_n keep_v on_o your_o own_o defile_a rot_a rag_n down_o therefore_o with_o self_n that_o christ_n may_v be_v exalt_v away_o with_o your_o own_o conceit_a righteousness_n that_o he_o may_v be_v your_o righteousness_n down_o with_o your_o selfish_a foolish_a wisdom_n that_o the_o suppose_a foolishness_n of_o god_n may_v be_v know_v but_o what_o belong_v to_o your_o peace_n and_o though_o i_o grant_v that_o you_o must_v not_o follow_v a_o teacher_n into_o a_o certain_a sin_n and_o error_n yet_o when_o it_o be_v not_o god_n but_o self_n that_o rise_v up_o against_o your_o teacher_n and_o possess_v you_o with_o a_o spirit_n of_o bitterness_n disobedience_n contradiction_n and_o malignity_n this_o self_n must_v be_v deny_v 10._o last_o as_o self_n be_v against_o the_o good_a of_o our_o neighbour_n or_o humane_a society_n it_o must_v be_v deny_v for_o we_o must_v love_v our_o neighbour_n as_o ourselves_o that_o be_v both_o self_n and_o neighbour_n must_v be_v love_v in_o a_o due_a subordination_n to_o god_n as_o mean_n to_o his_o glory_n and_o in_o this_o notion_n of_o a_o mean_n the_o love_n shall_v be_v equal_a though_o there_o be_v also_o a_o natural_a love_n in_o order_n to_o self-preservation_n put_v into_o we_o by_o the_o creator_n which_o our_o love_n to_o every_o neighbour_n be_v not_o to_o equal_v
