that_o he_o who_o endeavour_v to_o decline_v this_o cross_n and_o save_v his_o life_n by_o a_o denial_n of_o his_o faith_n shall_v thereby_o incur_v a_o much_o great_a punishment_n than_o be_v the_o loss_n of_o this_o temporal_a life_n he_o subjoin_v in_o the_o word_n of_o my_o text_n for_o what_o shall_v it_o profit_v a_o man_n if_o he_o shall_v gain_v the_o whole_a world_n and_o lose_v his_o yet_o still_o continue_v to_o be_v finite_a than_o between_o the_o most_o perfect_a and_o most_o imperfect_a understanding_n of_o any_o two_o man_n live_v second_o the_o excellency_n of_o the_o object_n may_v be_v such_o that_o it_o can_v never_o be_v full_o conceive_v by_o the_o understanding_n of_o any_o create_v be_v and_o such_o be_v god_n of_o who_o existence_n although_o we_o be_v which_o the_o divine_a nature_n can_v subsist_v include_v no_o less_o difficulty_n than_o the_o doctrine_n of_o the_o trinity_n i_o will_v instance_n only_o in_o two_o his_o independent_a existence_n and_o his_o omnipresence_n for_o the_o first_o nothing_o can_v exist_v without_o a_o cause_n and_o since_o there_o can_v be_v no_o external_a cause_n to_o god_n the_o cause_n of_o his_o existence_n apprehension_n but_o the_o spirituality_n of_o it_o although_o finite_a may_v confound_v we_o in_o this_o life_n wherein_o we_o be_v so_o much_o enure_v to_o judge_v by_o the_o report_n of_o our_o sense_n that_o few_o or_o none_o can_v form_v a_o distinct_a conception_n of_o a_o immaterial_a be_v all_o allow_v the_o soul_n of_o man_n to_o be_v such_o yet_o the_o great_a part_n of_o mankind_n be_v not_o able_a to_o form_v any_o conception_n of_o a_o immaterial_a be_v and_o even_o those_o who_o can_v yet_o have_v no_o other_o than_o a_o very_a confuse_a idea_n of_o it_o which_o consist_v rather_o in_o a_o negative_a conception_n of_o it_o to_o wit_n that_o it_o be_v not_o material_a than_o in_o any_o positive_a notion_n of_o its_o immateriality_n if_o then_o thing_n which_o be_v on_o all_o side_n allow_v continue_v to_o be_v inconceiveable_a if_o we_o can_v solve_v the_o difficulty_n arise_v from_o many_o attribute_n in_o god_n which_o yet_o we_o can_v deny_v to_o be_v in_o he_o without_o deny_v his_o existence_n at_o the_o same_o time_n if_o we_o be_v so_o much_o at_o a_o loss_n in_o the_o conception_n of_o any_o immaterial_a be_v we_o ought_v not_o to_o be_v astonish_v or_o
