we_o to_o believe_v and_o of_o the_o beginning_n of_o the_o christian_a faith_n there_o be_v no_o man_n i_o hope_v so_o dark_a and_o blind_a in_o his_o understanding_n as_o not_o to_o know_v that_o every_o one_o be_v bind_v in_o duty_n to_o believe_v the_o infallible_a truth_n which_o be_v god_n himself_o and_o that_o god_n be_v high_o dishonour_v and_o the_o truth_n blaspheme_v when_o this_o due_a faith_n be_v not_o give_v to_o he_o it_o be_v a_o unbecoming_a thing_n for_o one_o honest_a man_n not_o to_o believe_v another_o in_o all_o reasonable_a thing_n yet_o forasmuch_o as_o there_o be_v no_o express_a command_n upon_o we_o so_o to_o do_v because_o the_o psalmist_n tell_v we_o psal_n 116.11_o that_o all_o man_n be_v liar_n this_o earthly_a faith_n be_v leave_v to_o a_o man_n free_a will_n and_o pleasure_n whether_o he_o will_v believe_v or_o no_o forasmuch_o as_o they_o be_v only_o the_o word_n of_o mere_a men._n but_o god_n word_n we_o must_v and_o be_v bind_v always_o to_o believe_v because_o it_o be_v the_o truth_n itself_o all_o understanding_n must_v deliver_v themselves_o captive_n to_o the_o same_o and_o all_o heart_n must_v assent_v to_o it_o be_v the_o matter_n never_o so_o high_a above_o our_o reach_n and_o understanding_n yet_o we_o must_v believe_v they_o because_o god_n have_v speak_v they_o without_o any_o further_o question_v or_o require_v any_o further_a proof_n or_o reason_n of_o they_o this_o be_v the_o beginning_n of_o faith_n without_o which_o no_o man_n can_v please_v god_n chap._n ii_o of_o the_o duty_n and_o necessity_n of_o faith_n in_o christ_n our_o heavenly_a father_n have_v reveal_v much_o truth_n to_o his_o elect_n and_o promise_v to_o they_o great_a grace_n and_o many_o good_a thing_n and_o thereby_o in_o duty_n bind_v they_o forasmuch_o as_o he_o be_v the_o eternal_a truth_n undoubted_o to_o believe_v and_o look_v for_o the_o same_o at_o his_o hand_n whosoever_o we_o be_v whether_o good_a or_o bad_a jew_n or_o gentile_n the_o divine_a promise_n neither_o can_v nor_o may_v be_v procure_v or_o hasten_v by_o our_o virtue_n or_o hinder_v by_o our_o sin_n but_o continue_v eternal_o unchangeable_a and_o constant_a in_o its_o truth_n wherefore_o in_o order_n to_o our_o receive_v the_o gift_n and_o grace_n of_o god_n by_o whatsoever_o name_n they_o be_v call_v faith_n in_o christ_n be_v absolute_o necessary_a whereby_o we_o be_v assure_v of_o all_o the_o divine_a promise_n believe_v thou_o therefore_o that_o jesus_n christ_n be_v the_o son_n of_o god_n and_o doubt_v not_o in_o the_o least_o but_o that_o in_o he_o through_o he_o and_o for_o his_o sake_n all_o the_o good_a thou_o
