the_o have_v come_v to_o the_o knowledge_n of_o the_o truth_n make_v much_o against_o the_o other_o but_o the_o answer_n to_o these_o man_n be_v easy_a that_o it_o be_v not_o the_o truth_n which_o be_v against_o they_o but_o their_o own_o vice_n it_o be_v not_o the_o law_n that_o hurt_v they_o but_o their_o own_o moral_n for_o let_v our_o manner_n be_v good_a and_o the_o law_n will_v be_v on_o any_o one_o of_o their_o part_n for_o they_o can_v have_v no_o safety_n in_o they_o since_o they_o have_v lose_v their_o perfection_n nor_o have_v they_o always_o continue_v in_o the_o same_o state_n which_o be_v deprive_v of_o the_o efficacy_n of_o the_o sacrament_n it_o be_v we_o therefore_o alone_o that_o have_v the_o sacred_a scripture_n perfect_a uncorrupted_a and_o entire_a who_o either_o drink_n of_o they_o at_o the_o very_a fountain_n head_n or_o by_o the_o assistance_n of_o a_o just_a translation_n have_v draw_v they_o from_o their_o pure_a original_n it_o be_v only_a we_o that_o read_v they_o true_o and_o i_o will_v to_o god_n we_o fulfil_v the_o content_n of_o they_o as_o true_o as_o we_o read_v they_o right_o but_o i_o fear_v that_o we_o who_o do_v not_o observe_v they_o well_o do_v not_o read_v they_o well_o neither_o because_o there_o do_v less_o gild_n accrue_v by_o not_o read_v holy_a thing_n at_o all_o than_o by_o disobey_v the_o good_a thing_n we_o do_v read_v for_o other_o nation_n either_o have_v not_o the_o law_n of_o god_n or_o they_o have_v it_o totter_a and_o corrupt_v and_o so_o by_o that_o mean_n as_o i_o say_v before_o they_o have_v not_o at_o all_o what_o they_o have_v only_o so_o and_o although_o there_o may_v be_v some_o of_o these_o barbarian_n who_o may_v seem_v to_o have_v the_o holy_a scripture_n not_o so_o much_o abuse_v and_o alter_v yet_o they_o have_v it_o corrupt_v with_o the_o tradition_n of_o their_o ancient_a founder_n so_o that_o they_o have_v rather_o a_o tradition_n than_o the_o scripture_n because_o they_o do_v not_o adhere_v to_o what_o the_o truth_n of_o the_o text_n direct_v but_o to_o the_o wicked_a gloss_n insert_v by_o their_o naughty_a tradition_n for_o they_o be_v altogether_o barbarian_n ignorant_a not_o only_o of_o the_o excuse_v of_o ignorance_n which_o excuse_v roman_a but_o even_o of_o all_o humane_a learning_n who_o know_v nothing_o in_o the_o world_n but_o what_o they_o hear_v from_o their_o own_o doctor_n and_o what_o they_o hear_v that_o they_o follow_v so_o that_o it_o be_v of_o necessity_n that_o they_o who_o be_v thus_o without_o all_o learning_n and_o knowledge_n do_v come_v to_o know_v the_o sacred_a truth_n of_o the_o divine_a law_n by_o doctrine_n rather_o than_o by_o read_v shall_v rather_o retain_v that_o doctrine_n than_o the_o law_n itself_o and_o so_o the_o tradition_n of_o their_o teacher_n and_o their_o accustom_a doctrine_n be_v to_o they_o instead_o of_o a_o law_n because_o they_o know_v nothing_o else_o but_o just_a what_o they_o be_v teach_v they_o be_v then_o heretic_n but_o not_o wilful_a one_o they_o be_v reckon_v heretic_n with_o we_o but_o not_o among_o themselves_o for_o they_o fancy_v themselves_o so_o good_a catholic_n that_o they_o bestow_v the_o civil_a title_n of_o heretic_n even_o upon_o we_o so_o that_o we_o be_v the_o same_o to_o they_o that_o they_o be_v to_o we_o we_o be_v certain_a that_o they_o be_v injurious_a to_o the_o divine_a generation_n when_o they_o assert_v the_o son_n to_o be_v less_o than_o the_o father_n and_o they_o think_v we_o be_v as_o injurious_a to_o the_o father_n because_o we_o believe_v both_o to_o be_v equal_a we_o have_v the_o truth_n with_o we_o but_o they_o presume_v that_o they_o have_v it_o among_o they_o the_o true_a honour_n of_o god_n be_v among_o we_o but_o they_o fancy_v that_o what_o they_o believe_v be_v more_o for_o the_o honour_n of_o the_o deity_n they_o be_v unkind_a and_o unneighbourly_o and_o it_o be_v one_o of_o the_o great_a piece_n of_o their_o religion_n to_o be_v so_o they_o be_v ungodly_a but_o yet_o they_o think_v it_o be_v true_a piety_n to_o be_v so_o it_o be_v plain_a therefore_o they_o be_v in_o error_n but_o yet_o they_o err_v with_o a_o honest_a mind_n not_o out_o of_o hatred_n but_o of_o love_n to_o god_n believe_v that_o they_o love_v and_o honour_v our_o lord_n although_o they_o have_v not_o the_o right_a faith_n yet_o they_o nevertheless_o believe_v this_o to_o be_v the_o perfect_a love_n of_o god_n how_o they_o shall_v be_v hereafter_o punish_v for_o this_o error_n and_o mistake_a opinion_n no_o body_n can_v tell_v but_o
