for_o a_o absolute_a and_o irrevocable_a doom_n pronounce_v by_o thy_o holy_a mouth_n that_o unless_o the_o justice_n of_o we_o christian_n do_v abound_v more_o than_o that_o of_o the_o scribe_n etc._n etc._n we_o shall_v not_o enter_v into_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n what_o will_v become_v of_o we_o when_o we_o fall_v short_a even_o of_o what_o they_o perform_v for_o be_v not_o our_o prayer_n cold_a and_o full_a of_o distraction_n our_o work_n of_o mercy_n as_o well_o corporal_a as_o spiritual_a very_o few_o our_o fast_n rather_o suffer_v then_o perform_v with_o fervour_n and_o yet_o unless_o our_o justice_n surpass_v they_o there_o be_v no_o hope_n of_o heaven_n for_o us._n the_o second_o pointe._n consider_v that_o christian_a justice_n and_o perfection_n do_v not_o indeed_o consist_v in_o exterior_a action_n though_o otherwise_o good_a of_o their_o own_o nature_n but_o take_v their_o worth_n and_o excellency_n from_o the_o interior_a intention_n because_o all_o the_o beauty_n of_o the_o king_n daughter_n the_o soul_n issue_v from_o the_o interior_a if_o the_o intention_n the_o eye_n of_o the_o the_o soul_n be_v simple_a the_o whole_a body_n of_o the_o action_n proceed_v from_o thence_o will_v be_v beautiful_a and_o agreeable_a nor_o be_v again_o every_o well_o mean_v action_n christian_n perfection_n but_o only_a way_n to_o it_o perfection_n consist_v absolute_o in_o the_o love_n of_o god_n and_o our_o neighbour_n affection_n we_o be_v not_o then_o my_o soul_n so_o much_o to_o look_v what_o we_o do_v as_o how_o it_o be_v do_v nor_o how_o good_a the_o action_n be_v in_o itself_o as_o from_o what_o heart_n it_o proceed_v with_o what_o purity_n of_o intention_n it_o be_v do_v god_n be_v not_o delight_v with_o the_o sacrifice_n of_o our_o lip_n but_o of_o our_o heart_n and_o those_o too_o set_v upon_o that_o one_o necessary_a thing_n charity_n from_o which_o all_o our_o action_n ought_v to_o issue_v and_o to_o she_o final_o to_o tend_v because_o true_a christian_a perfection_n and_o the_o plenitude_n of_o the_o law_n be_v love_n the_o second_o meditation_n for_o the_o same_o sunday_n thou_o shall_v not_o kill_v be_v it_o say_v of_o old_a but_o i_o christ_n say_v unto_o you_o that_o he_o who_o be_v angry_a against_o his_o brother_n shall_v be_v coulpable_a of_o judgement_n consider_v how_o sweet_a this_o law_n of_o love_n be_v wherein_o christian_n justice_n consist_v and_o how_o dear_a it_o ought_v to_o be_v to_o we_o all_o since_o it_o provide_v for_o all_o our_o advantage_n it_o set_v not_o only_o our_o life_n in_o assurance_n by_o say_v thou_o shall_v not_o kill_v but_o even_o strive_v to_o make_v our_o otherwise_o miserable_a life_n delightful_a to_o we_o by_o forbid_v anger_n taunt_a and_o deridinge_v word_n and_o all_o manner_n of_o underualue_v one_o a_o other_o intimate_v by_o the_o word_n raca_n and_o fool_n affection_n o_o how_o happy_a how_o happy_a be_v we_o christian_n my_o soul_n do_v we_o live_v according_a to_o the_o prescript_n of_o this_o heavenly_a sweet_a law_n o_o what_o a_o heaven_n shall_v we_o find_v in_o earth_n be_v our_o action_n frame_v according_a to_o the_o direction_n and_o precept_n of_o our_o divine_a lawgiver_n our_o life_n our_o honour_n our_o good_n and_o all_o be_v in_o a_o undoubted_a safety_n and_o our_o soul_n will_v enjoy_v a_o perpetual_a sabbath_n while_o no_o detraction_n ruinate_v neighbour_n fame_n will_v be_v hear_v no_o carry_v of_o ill_a report_n to_o one_o another_o which_o be_v destructive_a to_o brotherly_a charity_n will_v be_v use_v no_o contumely_n contempt_n and_o taunt_n will_v be_v practise_v labour_n the_o due_a observance_n of_o this_o law_n my_o soul_n and_o so_o bless_v thyself_o with_o two_o heaven_n consider_v how_o agreeable_a this_o brotherly_a charity_n must_v needs_o be_v to_o our_o sweet_a saviour_n since_o he_o do_v not_o only_o provide_v safety_n and_o delight_n of_o our_o life_n while_o we_o observe_v his_o holy_a law_n according_a to_o that_o how_o good_a and_o delightful_a it_o be_v for_o brethren_n to_o live_v unanimous_o together_o but_o even_o in_o case_n of_o transgression_n thereof_o for_o our_o perfect_a reconcilement_n to_o our_o brother_n and_o he_o if_o thou_o offere_v thy_o gift_n at_o the_o altar_n and_o there_o thou_o remember_v that_o thy_o brother_n have_v any_o thing_n against_o thou_o leave_v there_o thy_o offering_n etc._n etc._n and_o go_v first_o to_o be_v reconcile_v to_o thy_o brother_n and_o then_o come_v thou_o shall_v offer_v thy_o gift_n affection_n o_o most_o delicious_a and_o heavenly_a law_n o_o admirable_a goodness_n of_o god_n to_o poor_a man_n who_o so_o close_o link_v his_o interest_n with_o we_o that_o if_o we_o be_v not_o right_a among_o ourselves_o we_o be_v not_o right_a with_o he_o if_o we_o have_v not_o peace_n with_o our_o brethren_n we_o have_v not_o peace_n with_o he_o if_o any_o man_n say_v i_o love_v god_n and_o hate_v his_o brother_n he_o be_v a_o liar_n say_v the_o belove_a apostle_n learn_v then_o to_o love_n my_o soul_n who_o thy_o exemplar_n christ_n so_o much_o love_n
