thereof_o that_o we_o may_v understand_v and_o believe_v ●_o so_o it_o be_v our_o duty_n to_o be_v humble_o inquire_v therein●●_n 3._o the_o prophet_n who_o speak_v those_o word_n i_o think_v i_o the_o scripture_n do_v you_o suppose_v it_o to_o hold_v unity_n and_o harmony_n with_o itself_o without_o any_o contradiction_n if_o so_o then_o whether_o it_o do_v not_o concern_v we_o so_o to_o understand_v it_o as_o may_v hold_v in_o unity_n and_o not_o in_o contradiction_n min._n the_o scripture_n be_v the_o word_n of_o one_o god_n give_v by_o one_o spirit_n and_o one_o lord_n jesus_n stand_v in_o unity_n and_o so_o it_o concern_v we_o to_o understand_v it_o to_o hold_v truth_n in_o contradiction_n be_v next_o of_o kin_n to_o hold_v it_o in_o unrighteousness_n if_o any_o thing_n i_o have_v herein_o say_v or_o do_v hold_v stand_v not_o in_o unity_n with_o the_o body_n of_o scripture_n or_o with_o itself_o i_o shall_v glad_o understand_v it_o and_o lay_v it_o down_o as_o a_o 12._o 47._o 1_o tim._n 2._o 4._o and_o therefore_o be_v not_o likely_a to_o be_v ●her_o true_a or_o safe_a 2._o to_o deny_v the_o general_a love_n of_o god_n to_o the_o world_n use_v christ_n give_v himself_o for_o the_o life_n of_o the_o world_n because_o the_o scripture_n say_v he_o lay_v down_o his_o life_n for_o the_o ●●ep_n for_o the_o church_n which_o be_v in_o itself_o a_o truth_n con●adicteth_v the_o whole_a scripture_n in_o this_o matter_n as_o have_v be_v ●●ly_o prove_v and_o therefore_o be_v not_o likely_a to_o be_v either_o true_a ●_o safe_a but_o that_o he_o die_v both_o for_o the_o world_n and_o for_o the_o church_n be_v the_o truth_n of_o scripture_n which_o be_v understand_v hold_v scripture_n and_o truth_n in_o unity_n and_o harmony_n without_o any_o contradiction_n at_o all_o but_o what_o man_n devise_v from_o their_o own_o head_n at_o a_o distance_n from_o any_o scripture_n ground_n or_o right_a reason_n the_o general_a and_o special_a grace_n of_o god_n to_o man_n be_v thereby_o understand_v and_o therefore_o be_v most_o likely_a to_o be_v both_o true_a and_o safe_a 3_o to_o understand_v the_o scripture_n so_o as_o to_o render_v not_o only_o the_o scripture_n but_o the_o holy_a name_n of_o god_n to_o stand_v in_o unity_n be_v most_o likely_a to_o be_v true_a and_o safe_a viz._n to_o understand_v and_o believe_v that_o he_o love_v the_o world_n in_o the_o gift_n of_o his_o son_n and_o that_o christ_n die_v for_o the_o world_n and_o will_v save_v all_o tha●_n do_v believe_v and_o obey_v the_o gospel_n and_o judge_n and_o condemn_v those_o that_o obey_v he_o not_o as_o the_o just_a and_o deserve_a cause_n rom._n 6._o 23._o and_o not_o from_o his_o decree_n of_o reprobation_n as_o the_o first_o cause_n of_o sin_n and_o damnation_n this_o stand_v in_o unity_n with_o the_o whole_a name_n and_o word_n of_o god_n without_o any_o contradiction_n at_o all_o and_o therefore_o most_o likely_a to_o be_v true_a and_o safe_a but_o to_o understand_v the_o scripture_n so_o as_o to_o limit_v the_o love_n of_o god_n to_o a_o very_a few_o only_a and_o the_o death_n of_o christ_n to_o as_o few_o and_o yet_o that_o he_o will_v damn_v people_n for_o not_o believe_v that_o which_o be_v never_o intend_v to_o they_o nor_o be_v it_o possible_a for_o they_o by_o any_o mean_n to_o obtain_v be_v reprobate_v therefrom_o be_v so_o
