goodness_n mercy_n grace_n his_o long-suffering_a his_o faithfulness_n and_o truth_n his_o slowness_n to_o anger_n be_v provoke_v daily_o by_o the_o sin_n of_o man_n his_o readiness_n to_o pardon_v iniquity_n transgression_n and_o sin_n these_o backpart_n of_o jehovah_n be_v clear_o reveal_v in_o the_o word_n and_o when_o god_n be_v say_v in_o scripture_n to_o hide_v his_o face_n from_o his_o people_n it_o be_v not_o that_o we_o shall_v not_o see_v he_o but_o that_o we_o shall_v the_o more_o earnest_o seek_v after_o he_o the_o lord_n be_v willing_a to_o be_v know_v unto_o any_o that_o have_v a_o mind_n to_o know_v he_o god_n take_v no_o delight_n in_o hide_v himself_o from_o we_o but_o be_v willing_a to_o open_v and_o manifest_v himself_o to_o we_o god_n stand_v not_o upon_o state_n as_o some_o great_a prince_n do_v that_o seldom_o show_v themselves_o but_o think_v their_o presence_n and_o converse_n lessen_v their_o respect_n the_o more_o we_o know_v man_n the_o more_o we_o shall_v understand_v his_o error_n and_o imperfection_n as_o well_o as_o his_o excellency_n but_o the_o more_o we_o know_v god_n the_o more_o we_o shall_v admire_v he_o none_o admire_v he_o so_o much_o as_o the_o holy_a angel_n that_o see_v most_o of_o he_o 18.10_o matth._n 18.10_o that_o always_o behold_v the_o face_n of_o our_o father_n which_o be_v in_o he_o aven_n therefore_o the_o lord_n hide_v not_o himself_o as_o though_o he_o be_v unwilling_a to_o be_v know_v but_o he_o desire_v to_o be_v know_v by_o we_o he_o bid_v we_o seek_v his_o face_n therefore_o if_o we_o do_v not_o know_v the_o lord_n the_o cause_n be_v not_o in_o god_n but_o in_o ourselves_o that_o we_o be_v not_o willing_a to_o know_v he_o nor_o desirous_a of_o his_o acquaintance_n object_n 7_o ignorant_a person_n be_v ready_a further_o to_o object_n and_o say_v what_o though_o we_o be_v ignorant_a yet_o god_n be_v a_o merciful_a god_n and_o his_o mercy_n be_v over_o all_o his_o work_n and_o therefore_o we_o hope_v to_o find_v mercy_n from_o god_n notwithstanding_o he_o that_o make_v we_o will_v sure_o save_v we_o resp_n let_v such_o poor_a soul_n see_v what_o the_o prophet_n isaias_n say_v to_o they_o 27.11_o isai_n 27.11_o it_o be_v a_o people_n of_o no_o understanding_n therefore_o he_o that_o make_v they_o will_v not_o have_v mercy_n on_o they_o and_o he_o that_o form_v they_o will_v show_v they_o no_o favour_n if_o thou_o be_v ignorant_a under_o the_o mean_n of_o knowledge_n thou_o be_v wilful_o ignorant_a therefore_o he_o that_o make_v thou_o will_v not_o save_v thou_o etc._n etc._n god_n will_v not_o be_v merciful_a to_o man_n because_o they_o be_v ignorant_a 30.31_o prov._n 30.31_o what_o then_o will_v he_o do_v to_o they_o you_o may_v read_v it_o at_o large_a prov._n 1_o for_o that_o they_o hate_v knowledge_n and_o do_v not_o choose_v the_o fear_n of_o the_o lord_n they_o will_v none_o of_o my_o counsel_n they_o despise_v all_o my_o reproof_n therefore_o shall_v they_o eat_v the_o fruit_n of_o their_o own_o way_n and_o be_v fill_v with_o their_o own_o device_n but_o they_o be_v ready_o far_o to_o say_v christ_n die_v and_o we_o hope_v to_o have_v some_o benefit_n by_o the_o death_n of_o jesus_n christ_n for_o he_o come_v into_o the_o world_n to_o save_v sinner_n i_o answer_v no._n you_o be_v like_a to_o have_v no_o benefit_n by_o his_o death_n if_o you_o abide_v in_o ignorance_n this_o be_v the_o condemnation_n that_o light_n come_v into_o the_o world_n and_o man_n love_v darkness_n rather_o than_o light_v man_n that_o be_v in_o love_n with_o darkness_n and_o ignorance_n shall_v be_v condemn_v if_o you_o shall_v yet_o say_v further_o that_o the_o apostle_n say_v that_o god_n will_v have_v all_o man_n to_o be_v save_v 1_o tim._n 2.4_o then_o take_v in_o the_o next_o word_n follow_v and_o come_v to_o the_o knowledge_n of_o the_o truth_n so_o that_o all_o those_o that_o will_v not_o come_v to_o the_o knowledge_n of_o the_o truth_n there_o be_v no_o hope_n of_o their_o salvation_n i_o may_v say_v that_o god_n will_v not_o their_o salvation_n that_o never_o come_v to_o the_o knowledge_n of_o the_o
