favour_n the_o desire_n of_o god_n service_n the_o comfort_n of_o god_n word_n and_o the_o love_n of_o the_o come_n of_o christ_n jesus_n lust_n revenge_n deceit_n love_n of_o money_n love_n of_o credit_n love_v of_o pleasure_n and_o all_o other_o corrupt_a affection_n lodging_n within_o if_o they_o once_o so_o far_o prevail_v that_o a_o man_n be_v willing_a to_o follow_v they_o in_o thought_n wherefore_o the_o godly_a man_n care_n must_v be_v to_o oppose_v the_o first_o motion_n of_o sin_n to_o fly_v the_o occasion_n of_o evil_n do_v to_o be_v careful_a of_o restrain_v himself_o from_o the_o very_o small_a degree_n of_o wickedness_n for_o a_o little_a sin_n allow_v will_v bring_v in_o a_o great_a till_o that_o come_v accompany_v with_o the_o great_a of_o all_o and_o that_o make_v a_o man_n little_o less_o than_o dead_a the_o second_o time_n we_o must_v therefore_o cast_v away_o the_o superfluity_n of_o maliciousness_n that_o be_v this_o allow_v of_o sin_n and_o please_v make_v in_o the_o soul_n of_o many_o of_o god_n servant_n by_o their_o carelessness_n this_o way_n how_o weak_a they_o have_v grow_v how_o their_o acquaintance_n with_o god_n their_o delight_n in_o his_o word_n their_o comfort_n in_o prayer_n their_o desire_n of_o be_v dissolve_v and_o their_o joy_n in_o a_o godly_a life_n have_v be_v interrupt_v and_o how_o they_o have_v come_v to_o that_o pass_n as_o scarce_o to_o show_v to_o other_o or_o find_v in_o themselves_o any_o sign_n of_o live_v perhaps_o this_o may_v be_v the_o very_a case_n of_o some_o among_o you_o that_o hear_v i_o at_o this_o time_n o_o if_o it_o be_v get_v thou_o a_o preservative_n take_v thou_o a_o large_a quantity_n of_o godly_a sorrow_n feed_v upon_o the_o bitter_a but_o wholesome_a herb_n of_o humiliation_n and_o grief_n go_v and_o meditate_v on_o the_o threaten_n of_o the_o law_n on_o the_o death_n of_o christ_n on_o the_o lamentable_a effect_n that_o other_o of_o god_n people_n have_v find_v upon_o
