to_o faith_n it_o be_v as_o natural_a and_o proper_a for_o mind_n and_o understanding_n to_o tend_v towards_o god_n as_o for_o heavy_a thing_n to_o tend_v towards_o their_o centre_n for_o god_n be_v the_o centre_n of_o immortal_a soul_n all_o understanding_n seek_v after_o god_n and_o have_v a_o sense_n and_o feel_v of_o god_n if_o reason_n do_v not_o apprehend_v god_n religion_n can_v not_o be_v learn_v for_o there_o will_v be_v nothing_o in_o nature_n to_o graft_v it_o on_o beside_o we_o know_v in_o reason_n that_o first_o principle_n be_v self-evident_a must_v be_v see_v in_o their_o own_o light_n and_o be_v perceive_v by_o a_o inward_a power_n of_o nature_n for_o as_o we_o say_v out_o of_o nothing_o come_v nothing_o so_o grant_v nothing_o and_o nothing_o can_v be_v prove_v wherefore_o it_o must_v be_v within_o the_o reach_n of_o reason_n to_o find_v that_o there_o be_v a_o god_n for_o upon_o god_n authority_n suppose_v his_o be_v and_o veracity_n we_o admit_v and_o receive_v all_o the_o result_v of_o his_o will._n if_o god_n have_v not_o make_v man_n to_o know_v there_o be_v a_o god_n there_o be_v nothing_o that_o god_n can_v have_v demand_v of_o he_o nothing_o wherein_o he_o may_v have_v challenge_v he_o nor_o nothing_o that_o he_o can_v have_v expect_v man_n shall_v have_v receive_v from_o he_o therefore_o the_o make_v of_o man_n the_o natural_a use_n of_o mind_n and_o understanding_n this_o be_v enough_o to_o satisfy_v any_o one_o concern_v the_o be_v of_o god_n and_o his_o essential_a perfection_n and_o if_o so_o whosoever_o be_v impious_a to_o god_n whosoever_o there_o be_v a_o secret_a harmony_n in_o the_o soul_n with_o the_o rule_n of_o righteousness_n there_o be_v no_o displacency_n offence_n or_o reluctancy_n and_o there_o be_v a_o antipathy_n arise_v at_o the_o appearance_n of_o evil_a as_o unnatural_a to_o it_o but_o a_o complacency_n in_o good_a as_o the_o
