the_o papist_n conclusion_n be_v weak_a and_o lame_a some_o receive_v some_o refuse_n therefore_o say_v they_o there_o be_v free_a will_n by_o the_o power_n whereof_o the_o one_o sort_n believe_v and_o the_o other_o for_o not_o use_v that_o power_n believe_v not_o nay_o rather_o say_v we_o therefore_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n work_v more_o effectual_o in_o the_o heart_n of_o some_o then_o of_o other_o some_o be_v there_o any_o christian_a soul_n who_o this_o conclusion_n of_o we_o will_v not_o content_v better_o then_o that_o of_o they_o sure_o he_o must_v needs_o love_v his_o own_o glory_n better_a than_o god_n that_o have_v rather_o ascribe_v his_o faith_n to_o his_o own_o free_a will_n then_o to_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n have_v i_o not_o yet_o speak_v enough_o or_o not_o plain_a enough_o be_v not_o weary_v i_o beseech_v you_o though_o i_o dwell_v a_o little_a long_o upon_o the_o matter_n i_o hope_v i_o shall_v better_o express_v my_o mind_n and_o you_o better_o understand_v i_o that_o ability_n to_o believe_v come_v of_o god_n and_o not_o of_o ourselves_o it_o be_v out_o of_o question_n betwixt_o us._n the_o doubt_n be_v touch_v the_o use_n of_o this_o ability_n for_o example_n let_v we_o suppose_v that_o both_o the_o thief_n that_o be_v crucify_v with_o our_o saviour_n christ_n have_v this_o grace_n bestow_v on_o they_o by_o god_n that_o they_o be_v able_a to_o believe_v he_o on_o the_o right_a hand_n use_v this_o grace_n and_o believe_v the_o other_o do_v not_o use_v it_o and_o continue_v in_o unbelief_n the_o question_n be_v whence_o this_o difference_n arise_v from_o the_o power_n of_o free_a will_n say_v the_o papist_n from_o the_o work_n of_o god_n grace_n say_v we_o we_o deny_v not_o say_v they_o that_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n work_v more_o effectual_o in_o the_o one_o then_o in_o the_o other_o but_o we_o affirm_v that_o the_o reason_n of_o this_o difference_n in_o work_v proceed_v from_o the_o diverse_a use_n of_o free_a will_n in_o
