etc._n vain_a man_n will_v fain_o be_v wise_a though_o he_o be_v bear_v like_o a_o wild_a ass_n colt_n but_o of_o this_o more_o hereafter_o another_o passage_n of_o like_a import_n speak_v of_o erroneous_a and_o lie_a apprehension_n and_o conceit_n concern_v god_n he_o add_v wherewith_o man_n willing_o suffer_v their_o mind_n and_o conscience_n to_o be_v embase_v and_o corrupt_v even_o to_o gospel_n may_v in_o process_n of_o time_n come_v to_o discover_v vanity_n in_o some_o erroneous_a principle_n or_o tenet_n wherewith_o their_o judgement_n have_v be_v leaven_v for_o some_o and_o that_o otherwise_o they_o shall_v never_o have_v own_v nor_o approve_v it_o hence_o it_o appear_v that_o in_o your_o account_n error_n may_v be_v discern_v by_o reason_n which_o yet_o shall_v be_v think_v by_o the_o gospel_n to_o be_v own_v so_o that_o the_o gospel_n shall_v not_o be_v the_o rule_n by_o which_o to_o judge_v of_o truth_n and_o error_n but_o reason_n shall_v be_v the_o rule_n by_o which_o to_o judge_v whether_o the_o gospel_n itself_o to_o wit_n that_o sacred_a writ_n which_o be_v receive_v in_o the_o church_n of_o god_n for_o the_o gospel_n be_v true_a or_o false_a then_o you_o go_v on_o to_o the_o same_o purpose_n now_o when_o a_o person_n shall_v be_v bring_v into_o the_o snare_n of_o such_o a_o conceit_n or_o imagination_n as_o this_o that_o the_o gospel_n in_o some_o of_o the_o vein_n or_o carriage_n of_o it_o teach_v or_o assert_v thing_n that_o be_v vain_a but_o before_o you_o go_v any_o further_a allow_v the_o divine_a authority_n of_o the_o gospel_n it_o be_v unpossible_a that_o such_o a_o conceit_n shall_v have_v place_n that_o the_o gospel_n in_o any_o of_o the_o vein_n or_o carriage_n of_o it_o shall_v assert_v any_o thing_n that_o be_v vain_a he_o go_v on_o or_o if_o no_o good_a consistency_n with_o reason_n or_o truth_n here_o be_v your_o rule_n to_o judge_v of_o any_o opinion_n in_o matter_n of_o faith_n and_o that_o whereby_o the_o gospel_n itself_o must_v be_v call_v to_o a_o account_n the_o consistency_n or_o inconsistency_n of_o it_o with_o reason_n so_o far_o it_o must_v be_v truth_n as_o vain_a man_n blind_a
