be_v diligent_a in_o revolve_v the_o prophet_n evangelist_n apostle_n every_o part_n and_o parcel_n of_o the_o heavenly_a reveal_v truth_n again_o the_o word_n of_o christ_n may_v dwell_v in_o we_o nature_n as_o to_o the_o deny_v those_o truth_n that_o be_v clear_a and_o evident_a by_o natural_a reason_n and_o strong_a impression_n on_o the_o mind_n of_o man_n as_o the_o be_v of_o a_o god_n the_o immortality_n of_o the_o soul_n future_a reward_n and_o punishment_n and_o the_o like_a or_o else_o the_o do_v of_o those_o thing_n which_o be_v repugnant_a to_o the_o dictate_v of_o the_o law_n of_o nature_n as_o for_o a_o man_n to_o be_v tempt_v to_o offer_v violence_n to_o himself_o and_o to_o destroy_v himself_o it_o be_v very_o probable_a that_o such_o temptation_n have_v not_o their_o first_o rise_n and_o original_n from_o our_o natural_a corruption_n but_o be_v immediate_o dart_v into_o the_o soul_n by_o the_o devil_n though_o indeed_o our_o corruption_n too_o often_o catch_v at_o they_o and_o brood_n upon_o they_o till_o they_o have_v from_o such_o horrid_a temptation_n as_o these_o conceive_v some_o horrid_a and_o monstrous_a sin_n in_o the_o soul_n such_o injection_n as_o they_o can_v retain_v nothing_o when_o they_o have_v read_v the_o scripture_n and_o will_v recollect_v what_o they_o have_v read_v they_o can_v give_v no_o account_n of_o it_o either_o to_o upon_o they_o than_o word_n on_o the_o air_n in_o which_o they_o be_v speak_v whence_o be_v this_o but_o only_o that_o the_o one_o sort_n work_v themselves_o into_o the_o memory_n through_o the_o interest_n they_o have_v get_v in_o the_o affection_n which_o the_o other_o can_v do_v have_v we_o but_o the_o same_o delight_n in_o heavenly_a object_n do_v we_o but_o receive_v the_o truth_n in_o the_o love_n of_o it_o and_o mingle_v it_o with_o faith_n in_o the_o hear_n this_o will_v fix_v that_o volatileness_n and_o flittiness_n of_o our_o memory_n and_o make_v every_o truth_n as_o
