do_v so_o matth._n 10._o 1._o john_n 6._o 67._o so_o also_o he_o thus_o speak_v in_o another_o place_n concern_v his_o faithful_a disciple_n i_o do_v not_o say_v that_o i_o will_v pray_v the_o further_o appear_v by_o and_o by_o 2._o there_o be_v this_o good_a reason_n why_o the_o world_n shall_v then_o be_v exclude_v from_o his_o prayer_n in_o that_o place_n because_o he_o be_v put_v up_o request_n to_o his_o father_n for_o the_o then_o actual_a believer_n and_o which_o be_v only_o proper_a to_o be_v petition_v for_o they_o and_o not_o for_o the_o world_n while_o in_o that_o state_n to_o wit_n that_o they_o may_v be_v keep_v in_o god_n name_n that_o they_o may_v be_v one_o that_o they_o may_v be_v sanctify_v through_o the_o truth_n and_o send_v into_o the_o world_n as_o christ_n be_v to_o wit_n to_o preach_v the_o gospel_n etc._n etc._n john_n 17._o 9-19_a now_o how_o can_v our_o saviour_n pray_v for_o the_o world_n while_o of_o the_o world_n in_o these_o petition_n which_o be_v not_o proper_a to_o be_v present_v for_o they_o can_v he_o pray_v that_o they_o may_v be_v keep_v in_o god_n name_n that_o be_v not_o in_o it_o or_o that_o they_o may_v be_v one_o in_o their_o evil_a way_n and_o design_n or_o that_o they_o may_v be_v send_v into_o the_o world_n to_o preach_v the_o gospel_n who_o do_v not_o believe_v the_o gospel_n no_o sure_o but_o this_o do_v no_o more_o deny_v that_o our_o saviour_n ever_o pray_v for_o the_o world_n than_o abraham_n pray_v for_o his_o son_n ishmael_n or_o isaac_n deny_v he_o ever_o pray_v for_o sodom_n that_o be_v to_o say_v not_o in_o the_o least_o for_o at_o several_a time_n and_o in_o divers_a petition_n he_o pray_v both_o for_o the_o former_a and_o the_o latter_a 3._o nay_o it_o evident_o appear_v in_o johâ—_n 17._o that_o our_o saviour_n pray_v for_o the_o world_n though_o not_o in_o verse_n 9-19_a or_o the_o good_a of_o the_o world_n be_v one_o great_a thing_n aim_v at_o and_o design_v in_o his_o pray_n for_o they_o who_o be_v choose_v out_o of_o the_o world_n for_o that_o prayer_n may_v be_v divide_v into_o four_o part_n first_o our_o saviour_n pray_v for_o himself_o and_o therein_o pray_v not_o for_o the_o
