a_o great_a difference_n betwixt_o lust_a to_o be_v rich_a and_o labour_v for_o wealth_n so_o betwixt_o a_o bare_a lust_a to_o be_v good_a and_o endeavour_v after_o goodness_n the_o sluggard_n will_v be_v content_a to_o take_v wealth_n if_o he_o can_v find_v it_o under_o his_o foot_n or_o if_o with_o little_a ado_n he_o can_v entreat_v it_o to_o fall_v into_o his_o lap_n yea_o sometime_o when_o his_o own_o nature_n and_o fight_v against_o the_o lust_n of_o his_o flesh_n even_o with_o this_o labour_a for_o the_o righteousness_n of_o god_n above_o all_o thing_n but_o the_o christian_n stand_v withdraw_v from_o they_o and_o so_o there_o follow_v a_o sensible_a wither_a they_o care_v not_o for_o the_o word_n they_o care_v not_o for_o the_o company_n of_o the_o saint_n that_o once_o content_v they_o and_o religion_n seem_v nothing_o so_o goodly_a a_o thing_n unto_o they_o as_o sometime_o it_o do_v second_o whereas_o they_o have_v once_o the_o spirit_n of_o restraint_n bestow_v upon_o they_o to_o hold_v down_o their_o corruption_n and_o to_o keep_v the_o badness_n of_o their_o heart_n from_o show_v itself_o in_o extremity_n the_o lord_n do_v now_o please_v to_o remove_v these_o vengeance_n to_o cut_v off_o their_o soul_n from_o god_n for_o by_o their_o often_o resist_v it_o and_o much_o set_n of_o their_o wit_n and_o conscience_n upon_o the_o tenter_n to_o shift_v and_o dally_v with_o it_o they_o become_v blind_a and_o blind_a and_o hard_a and_o hard_o till_o at_o length_n they_o be_v sell_v over_o unto_o utter_a blindness_n and_o give_v clean_o into_o the_o power_n of_o sin_n and_o satan_n from_o which_o they_o seem_v once_o to_o be_v redeem_v and_o thus_o be_v judas_n cut_v off_o as_o the_o scripture_n show_v us._n he_o be_v first_o a_o thief_n allow_v himself_o in_o his_o covetousness_n and_o purloin_v and_o not_o hee_v the_o check_n of_o his_o own_o heart_n which_o every_o man_n must_v needs_o know_v will_v be_v apt_a to_o be_v move_v within_o may_v be_v effect_v through_o god_n blessing_n with_o careful_a endeavour_n from_o which_o god_n blessing_n will_v never_o be_v keep_v back_o heart_n 3._o mean_n of_o mollisy_v a_o guilesull_n heart_n i_o will_v therefore_o show_v you_o two_o or_o three_o mean_n to_o mollify_v even_o a_o guileful_a heart_n and_o to_o make_v it_o if_o not_o weep_v yet_o mourn_v earnest_o and_o let_v every_o man_n know_v for_o his_o comfort_n that_o mourning_n may_v be_v accept_v before_o god_n though_o tear_n be_v away_o the_o lord_n will_v not_o reject_v dry_a sorrow_n if_o he_o see_v it_o hearty_a and_o true_a and_o such_o as_o a_o man_n be_v even_o out_o of_o conceit_n with_o himself_o because_o he_o can_v make_v it_o great_a and_o wet_a too_o understand_v then_o that_o there_o be_v three_o thing_n that_o will_v help_v even_o the_o man_n that_o have_v be_v hitherto_o but_o a_o hypocrite_n to_o lament_v and_o mourn_v for_o his_o hypocrisy_n the_o first_o be_v stand_v 1._o to_o consider_v serious_o of_o the_o danger_n in_o which_o he_o stand_v to_o lay_v open_a before_o his_o mind_n in_o some_o settle_a and_o serious_a meditation_n the_o infiniteness_n of_o that_o evil_n which_o shall_v sure_o come_v upon_o he_o for_o his_o hypocrisy_n unless_o by_o lament_v it_o he_o do_v prevent_v the_o same_o put_v thyself_o in_o mind_n of_o the_o certainty_n of_o thy_o be_v damn_v if_o thou_o continue_v a_o hypocrite_n and_o of_o the_o intolerablenesse_n of_o the_o punishment_n of_o damnation_n say_v o_o how_o inevitable_a but_o by_o repentance_n whereof_o sorrow_n be_v a_o necessary_a companion_n and_o how_o extreme_a be_v the_o peril_n wherein_o i_o stand_v if_o i_o cast_v not_o out_o this_o guile_n out_o of_o my_o heart_n it_o will_v certain_o keep_v i_o out_o of_o against_o hypocrite_n and_o lay_v they_o close_o to_o thy_o own_o soul_n say_v upon_o i_o shall_v all_o these_o be_v fulfil_v if_o by_o mourning_n i_o free_v not_o myself_o from_o they_o faith_n in_o god_n threat_n will_v make_v the_o heart_n ache_v and_o prick_v and_o much_o press_v they_o upon_o a_o man_n soul_n and_o consider_v the_o author_n and_o firmness_n of_o they_o will_v cause_v they_o to_o be_v believe_v and_o so_o thou_o have_v one_o way_n of_o melt_a thyself_o to_o this_o add_v a_o second_o also_o 2._o to_o consider_v serious_o of_o god_n gracious_a readiness_n to_o accept_v
