the_o truth_n and_o he_o have_v a_o tender_a care_n to_o preserve_v unity_n and_o brotherly_a love_n as_o also_o the_o sense_n he_o have_v of_o his_o reward_n make_v he_o cheerful_a in_o his_o service_n and_o fervent_a in_o spirit_n and_o zealous_a in_o his_o testimony_n against_o all_o false_a and_o deceitful_a spirit_n which_o slight_a and_o disesteem_n truth_n and_o lead_v into_o apostasy_n from_o the_o unity_n and_o fellowship_n of_o the_o gospel_n who_o way_n do_v not_o tend_v to_o peace_n but_o strife_n and_o self-separation_n he_o fervent_o preach_v the_o cross_n of_o christ_n and_o press_v the_o necessity_n of_o obedience_n through_o it_o and_o unto_o watchfulness_n in_o the_o fear_n of_o god_n he_o preach_v faith_n in_o the_o power_n of_o god_n and_o the_o righteousness_n thereof_o not_o to_o stand_v in_o the_o wisdom_n of_o man_n nor_o in_o lifeless_a profession_n or_o traditional_a opinion_n nor_o yet_o to_o consist_v in_o self_n act_v and_o affect_v the_o heart_n of_o many_o with_o the_o excellency_n of_o the_o truth_n as_o it_o be_v in_o jesus_n and_o turn_v many_o thereunto_o even_o from_o darkness_n unto_o light_n and_o from_o satan_n power_n to_o god_n that_o they_o may_v both_o receive_v remission_n of_o sin_n and_o possession_n of_o life_n eternal_a and_o as_o he_o have_v free_o receive_v of_o christ_n so_o he_o free_o give_v prove_v chargeable_a to_o the_o church_n and_o indeed_o he_o go_v much_o a_o warfare_n at_o his_o own_o charge_n give_v free_o up_o both_o his_o liberty_n and_o life_n for_o the_o promotion_n of_o the_o gospel_n of_o truth_n both_o in_o this_o and_o other_o nation_n through_o many_o hazard_n and_o difficulty_n particular_o of_o late_a year_n in_o this_o city_n of_o london_n wherein_o the_o to_o deny_v all_o unrighteousness_n and_o be_v furnish_v thereby_o perfect_o to_o perform_v all_o good_a wookes_z herein_o i_o say_v one_o man_n may_v be_v profitable_a to_o another_o and_o yet_o it_o can_v therefore_o be_v say_v that_o that_o man_n who_o be_v so_o profitable_a etc._n etc._n be_v a_o absolute_a and_o perfect_a rule_n for_o all_o man_n to_o walk_v by_o and_o no_o other_o for_o it_o spirit_n into_o the_o heart_n of_o his_o child_n whereby_o they_o be_v direct_v into_o his_o most_o holy_a will_n by_o the_o enlighten_v of_o their_o spirit_n by_o that_o holy_a spirit_n of_o promise_n by_o which_o they_o know_v their_o adoption_n and_o also_o by_o the_o same_o spirit_n can_v own_o god_n to_o be_v their_o father_n etc._n etc._n thus_o far_o be_v his_o own_o word_n by_o direct_v into_o the_o knowledge_n of_o the_o most_o holy_a will_n of_o the_o father_n and_o that_o thereby_o the_o adoption_n be_v know_v and_o god_n own_v etc._n etc._n seem_v very_o strange_a for_o the_o light_n and_o spirit_n reprove_v all_o imagination_n and_o fancy_n and_o lead_v into_o all_o truth_n those_o who_o receive_v the_o reproof_n and_o instruction_n thereof_o and_o therefore_o the_o deny_v of_o the_o scripture_n to_o be_v the_o word_n while_o the_o word_n in_o the_o heart_n which_o the_o scripture_n testify_v of_o be_v own_v people_n be_v not_o leave_v to_o walk_v by_o imagination_n but_o by_o the_o word_n which_o be_v a_o light_n to_o the_o foot_n of_o those_o who_o take_v heed_n unto_o their_o way_n according_a to_o the_o leading_n of_o it_o and_o the_o help_n scripture_n and_o argue_v that_o they_o can_v be_v separate_v and_o the_o reason_n he_o give_v be_v because_o the_o scripture_n be_v the_o giving_n forth_o of_o the_o spirit_n and_o yet_o notwithstanding_o will_v say_v christ_n have_v a_o distinct_a be_v from_o his_o spirit_n which_o be_v of_o his_o giving_n forth_o and_o thus_o as_o fancy_n lead_v he_o he_o affirm_v thing_n as_o in_o page_n 43._o he_o say_v if_o scripture_n be_v deny_v to_o be_v the_o word_n of_o god_n it_o make_v void_a the_o exercise_n of_o faith_n for_o faith_n must_v be_v exercise_v in_o the_o scripture_n or_o else_o upon_o fancy_n and_o imagination_n and_o in_o page_n 73._o he_o say_v if_o there_o be_v no_o personal_a be_v of_o christ_n then_o there_o be_v no_o christ_n to_o exercise_v faith_n in_o so_o of_o god_n manifest_v in_o he_o who_o be_v the_o author_n of_o true_a faith_n or_o the_o begetter_n thereof_o and_o be_v also_o the_o object_n thereof_o in_o which_o it_o be_v exercise_v and_o in_o who_o it_o stand_v who_o all_o must_v hear_v that_o receive_v the_o true_a faith_n which_o be_v the_o victory_n that_o overcome_v the_o world_n and_o which_o give_v access_n unto_o god_n in_o which_o faith_n there_o be_v peace_n and_o joy_v unspeakable_a and_o full_a of_o glory_n again_o in_o page_n 87._o mention_v that_o scripture_n which_o seem_v as_o a_o block_n in_o his_o way_n which_o i_o
