clear_a that_o the_o saint_n suffer_v from_o the_o power_n or_o wicked_a plot_n of_o man_n may_v be_v say_v to_o suffer_v from_o or_o under_o their_o hand_n though_o their_o material_a hand_n never_o touch_v they_o for_o no_o man_n will_v conclude_v that_o herod_n stretch_v out_o the_o hand_n of_o his_o body_n can_v vex_v the_o church_n or_o that_o he_o kill_v james_n or_o imprison_v peter_n with_o his_o own_o material_a hand_n but_o on_o the_o contrary_a be_v set_v on_o work_n through_o malice_n by_o his_o power_n command_v his_o servant_n to_o do_v it_o so_o you_o see_v the_o saint_n may_v proper_o be_v say_v to_o suffer_v under_o the_o hand_n of_o wicked_a man_n though_o they_o never_o smite_v they_o with_o their_o material_a hand_n so_o you_o see_v this_o question_n be_v full_o answer_v in_o the_o next_o place_n i_o shall_v come_v to_o show_v the_o weakness_n and_o unsoundness_n of_o those_o reason_n you_o lay_v down_o against_o this_o subjection_n to_o lay_v on_o of_o hand_n heb._n 6.2_o to_o be_v mean_v of_o the_o same_o suffer_a persecution_n from_o the_o hand_n of_o wicked_a men._n first_o you_o say_v it_o be_v very_o absurd_a or_o strange_a to_o think_v that_o christian_a man_n shall_v be_v persecute_v answer_n in_o these_o word_n you_o discover_v either_o ignorance_n or_o else_o unfaithfulness_n for_o that_o i_o plead_v for_o be_v not_o persecute_v but_o to_o suffer_v persecution_n therefore_o you_o discover_v unfaithfulness_n in_o that_o you_o seem_v as_o if_o this_o be_v the_o opinion_n of_o some_o when_o i_o be_o persuade_v you_o never_o hear_v any_o man_n say_v it_o be_v his_o opinion_n that_o christian_a man_n shall_v be_v persecutor_n second_o you_o discover_v ignorance_n because_o you_o mind_v those_o party_n speak_v to_o heb._n 6.2_o as_o administrator_n whereas_o it_o be_v clear_a they_o be_v subjector_n to_o and_o not_o administrator_n of_o lay_v on_o of_o hand_n in_o no_o sense_n at_o all_o so_o that_o these_o word_n of_o you_o make_v nothing_o against_o the_o saint_n subjection_n heb._n 6.2_o to_o be_v mean_v of_o suffer_a persecution_n under_o the_o hand_n of_o wicked_a men._n in_o the_o next_o place_n you_o say_v it_o can_v be_v so_o mean_v because_o this_o lay_n on_o of_o hand_n heb._n 6.2_o particular_o belong_v to_o christian_a man_n in_o point_n of_o subjection_n let_v we_o leave_v the_o doctrine_n in_o this_o say_v you_o saint_n be_v active_a but_o in_o suffering_n they_o be_v passive_a therefore_o say_v you_o it_o can_v be_v mean_v such_o a_o sort_n of_o lay_v on_o of_o hand_n to_o which_o i_o answer_v here_o you_o grant_v truth_n which_o in_o your_o former_a word_n you_o seem_v to_o deny_v it_o in_o this_o reason_n you_o say_v it_o appertain_v to_o christian_a man_n in_o point_n of_o subjection_n but_o when_o as_o you_o say_v it_o can_v be_v mean_v of_o suffering_n because_o they_o be_v exhort_v to_o leave_v the_o doctrine_n and_o you_o say_v in_o this_o saint_n be_v active_a but_o in_o suffering_n they_o be_v passive_a though_o in_o leave_v the_o first_o degree_n &_o go_v on_o high_a in_o some_o sense_n they_o may_v be_v say_v to_o be_v active_a yet_o saint_n that_o have_v hand_n lay_v on_o they_o upon_o what_o account_n soever_o it_o be_v they_o be_v passive_a for_o they_o suffer_v other_o to_o do_v it_o and_o therefore_o not_o active_a so_o that_o this_o confuse_a reason_n make_v nothing_o against_o its_o be_v mean_v of_o suffer_a persecution_n your_o next_o reason_n why_o it_o can_v be_v mean_v of_o such_o a_o kind_n of_o subjection_n to_o lay_v on_o of_o hand_n because_o the_o saint_n of_o god_n be_v often_o to_o suffer_v persecution_n for_o the_o gospel_n but_o as_o to_o the_o lay_v on_o of_o hand_n declare_v heb._n 6.2_o they_o be_v but_o once_o to_o undergo_v as_o be_v evident_a from_o the_o precedent_a scripture_n let_v we_o go_v forth_o to_o perfection_n and_o now_o no_o more_o lay_v the_o foundation_n answer_n in_o that_o you_o say_v the_o saint_n be_v often_o to_o suffer_v persecution_n for_o the_o gospel_n it_o be_v true_a and_o that_o serve_v to_o prove_v that_o which_o i_o affirm_v viz._n that_o saint_n be_v to_o leave_v the_o beginning_n part_n of_o suffering_n and_o go_v on_o to_o perfection_n in_o they_o but_o whereas_o you_o say_v that_o saint_n be_v but_o once_o to_o undergo_v that_o kind_n of_o lay_v on_o of_o hand_n heb._n 6.2_o you_o plain_o declare_v what_o you_o understand_v by_o leave_v the_o beginning_n &_o go_v on_o to_o perfection_n viz._n that_o the_o saint_n shall_v leave_v subjection_n to_o that_o
