real_a so_o be_v our_o church_n and_o i_o doubt_v not_o but_o it_o will_v pass_v without_o interruption_n however_o the_o thing_n that_o i_o be_o dispatch_v do_v not_o engage_v i_o for_o the_o consequence_n though_o the_o other_o cause_n have_v be_v find_v so_o pregnant_a as_o to_o bear_v such_o a_o particular_a improvement_n only_o to_o assign_v and_o maintain_v to_o the_o visible_a church_n all_o its_o cause_n and_o therefore_o its_o existence_n true_o so_o in_o our_o consideration_n without_o respect_n to_o save_a grace_n which_o i_o presume_v have_v be_v do_v already_o as_o to_o the_o author_n the_o head_n and_o the_o end_n of_o the_o church_n to_o which_o i_o now_o proceed_v to_o add_v the_o matter_n thereof_o affirm_v as_o before_o in_o the_o antecedent_n that_o the_o visible_a church_n may_v be_v consider_v to_o have_v the_o true_a matter_n of_o the_o church_n of_o christ_n without_o respect_n to_o save_a grace_n the_o matter_n of_o the_o church_n habet_fw-la rationem_fw-la partium_fw-la subjecti_fw-la 1._o the_o matter_n of_o the_o visible_a church_n have_v the_o reason_n of_o the_o part_n be_v the_o minister_n and_o the_o people_n the_o pastor_n and_o the_o flock_n ecclesia_fw-la utens_fw-la and_o ecclesia_fw-la docens_fw-la as_o some_o speak_v and_o as_o we_o read_v 1_o cor._n 12._o both_o make_v up_o the_o compositum_fw-la the_o church_n and_o this_o church_n must_v needs_o be_v the_o visible_a church_n for_o there_o be_v no_o such_o organical_a part_n no_o minister_n but_o christ_n himself_o in_o the_o church_n invisible_a now_o may_v we_o consider_v both_o these_o part_n of_o the_o matter_n of_o the_o church_n as_o true_o such_o without_o respect_n to_o save_a grace_n do_v not_o judas_n true_o teach_v and_o do_v not_o thousand_o true_o profess_v in_o the_o church_n of_o christ_n be_v true_o call_v though_o not_o saving_o choose_v without_o any_o measure_n of_o save_a grace_n but_o this_o will_n more_o fit_o meet_v we_o in_o the_o next_o consideration_n of_o the_o matter_n of_o the_o church_n viz._n as_o have_v the_o reason_n the_o subject_a matter_n next_o we_o inquire_v what_o the_o subject_a matter_n of_o the_o visible_a be_v and_o whether_o it_o also_o may_v be_v consider_v without_o respect_n to_o save_a grace_n 1._o what_o be_v rhen_n the_o subject_a matter_n of_o the_o visible_a church_n trelcatius_n tell_v we_o that_o it_o be_v all_o such_o as_o be_v call_v out_o and_o external_o profess_v the_o faith_n which_o i_o think_v none_o can_v choose_v but_o approve_v of_o when_o they_o consider_v that_o faith_n be_v a_o thing_n invisible_a and_o therefore_o not_o any_o way_n fit_v to_o commend_v the_o matter_n of_o the_o church_n to_o we_o as_o visible_a and_o though_o it_o be_v grant_v that_o faith_n do_v unite_v man_n to_o the_o church_n yet_o it_o must_v still_o be_v yield_v that_o profession_n thereof_o do_v render_v they_o member_n of_o the_o church_n as_o visible_a 2._o but_o here_o see_v most_o do_v consent_v that_o professor_n of_o the_o faith_n be_v the_o subject_a matter_n of_o the_o visible_a church_n it_o will_v i_o presume_v be_v worth_a our_o enquiry_n what_o be_v mean_v by_o the_o faith_n so_o profess_v certain_o it_o must_v be_v either_o the_o doctrine_n or_o the_o grace_n of_o faith_n and_o which_o of_o these_o be_v proper_o or_o usual_a say_v to_o be_v profess_v 1._o be_v it_o the_o grace_n of_o faith_n which_o man_n profess_v certain_o no_o for_o that_o be_v the_o faith_n by_o which_o and_o not_o the_o faith_n which_o we_o profess_v 2._o how_o incongruous_a a_o speech_n will_v it_o be_v to_o say_v i_o profess_v that_o i_o believe_v while_o it_o be_v good_a and_o sound_a and_o relish_v upon_o the_o mind_n of_o the_o hearer_n to_o say_v i_o profess_v what_o or_o that_o doctrine_n which_o i_o do_v believe_v 3._o if_o the_o meaning_n be_v that_o we_o do_v profess_v the_o grace_n of_o faith_n than_o the_o epithet_n true_a which_o divine_n do_v general_o annex_v to_o faith_n shall_v be_v put_v to_o profession_n and_o whereas_o they_o usual_o speak_v of_o the_o profession_n of_o the_o true_a faith_n they_o shall_v shall_v say_v the_o true_a profession_n of_o the_o faith_n 4._o this_o appear_v in_o its_o contrary_n out_o of_o doubt_n for_o such_o as_o fall_v away_o from_o the_o faith_n be_v not_o say_v to_o deny_v their_o own_o faith_n but_o the_o faith_n or_o doctrine_n of_o christ_n 2._o then_o it_o be_v doctrine_n of_o faith_n which_o we_o profess_v as_o member_n of_o the_o visible_a church_n and_o if_o this_o be_v the_o note_n or_o character_n of_o the_o matter_n of_o the_o visible_a church_n it_o can_v in_o the_o most_o strict_a and_o rigid_a sense_n that_o can_v possible_o be_v put_v upon_o it_o only_o require_v two_o thing_n truth_n in_o the_o object_n profess_v and_o truth_n in_o the_o subject_n profess_v i._n e._n that_o he_o profess_v the_o true_a doctrine_n of_o faith_n and_o that_o he_o believe_v what_o he_o profess_v i._n e._n that_o he_o have_v a_o good_a profession_n and_o that_o he_o have_v a_o good_a principle_n answer_v to_o it_o such_o a_o faith_n as_o such_o a_o profession_n do_v require_v to_o make_v it_o not_o dissemble_v but_o true_a and_o real_a and_o thus_o though_o we_o do_v not_o profess_v the_o grace_n of_o faith_n yet_o the_o grace_n of_o faith_n so_o far_o be_v consent_v to_o as_o be_v requisite_a to_o a_o true_a profession_n see_v thereby_o we_o true_o believe_v what_o we_o so_o profess_v 3._o yet_o though_o this_o faith_n be_v suppose_v to_o be_v true_a where_o the_o matter_n of_o the_o church_n be_v true_a the_o matter_n of_o the_o church_n do_v not_o receive_v its_o denomination_n of_o be_v true_a from_o the_o truth_n of_o this_o grace_n of_o faith_n but_o from_o the_o truth_n of_o its_o object_n or_o doctrine_n believe_v and_o according_o profess_a which_o as_o also_o what_o be_v before_o assert_v viz._n that_o the_o doctrine_n of_o faith_n be_v the_o object_n of_o
