they_o be_v contrary_a one_o to_o another_o and_o whether_o it_o be_v better_a to_o follow_v god_n or_o man_n judge_v you_o §_o 15._o another_o place_n misunderstand_v and_o misapply_v by_o you_o be_v be_v god_n witness_n from_o heaven_n and_o from_o thence_o conclude_v say_v that_o as_o it_o have_v teach_v you_o you_o shall_v abide_v in_o he_o as_o if_o he_o shall_v have_v say_v as_o this_o anoint_v do_v at_o the_o first_o prevail_v with_o you_o to_o receive_v jesus_n as_o the_o true_a messiah_n so_o for_o the_o same_o cause_n i_o be_o confi-you_a will_n as_o you_o have_v the_o great_a reason_n still_o abide_v in_o he_o notwithstanding_o all_o pretence_n of_o seducer_n to_o take_v you_o off_o this_o then_o be_v the_o scope_n and_o drift_n of_o the_o apostle_n in_o this_o place_n to_o which_o the_o several_a expression_n here_o use_v be_v accommodate_v and_o by_o which_o they_o be_v to_o be_v interpret_v and_o understand_v how_o i_o pray_v you_o will_v you_o find_v your_o opinion_n here_o of_o the_o spirit_n inward_a teach_n of_o all_o thing_n without_o any_o outward_a teach_n you_o be_v wont_a to_o say_v that_o the_o scripture_n be_v not_o to_o be_v understand_v but_o by_o the_o same_o spirit_n that_o give_v they_o forth_o and_o the_o spirit_n doubtless_o be_v not_o want_v to_o assist_v the_o sincere_a endeavour_n of_o man_n in_o search_v after_o the_o sense_n of_o the_o scripture_n in_o order_n to_o practice_n but_o true_o if_o we_o shall_v judge_v of_o man_n have_v the_o spirit_n by_o their_o understanding_n the_o scripture_n i_o think_v there_o will_v be_v as_o little_a reason_n to_o think_v you_o have_v the_o spirit_n as_o any_o sort_n of_o man_n that_o have_v read_v the_o scripture_n for_o doubtless_o there_o be_v scarce_o any_o sort_n of_o man_n if_o any_o at_o all_o that_o do_v more_o gross_o misunderstand_v and_o misapply_v and_o so_o abuse_v the_o scripture_n than_o you_o do_v and_o that_o under_o the_o great_a confidence_n too_o of_o be_v guide_v in_o your_o sense_n and_o notion_n of_o they_o by_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n you_o take_v the_o sound_n of_o word_n in_o scripture_n which_o as_o you_o fancy_n comport_v with_o your_o notion_n and_o opinion_n and_o then_o apply_v they_o to_o your_o purpose_n and_o then_o be_v confident_a the_o holy_a spirit_n have_v guide_v you_o therein_o when_o as_o alas_o you_o do_v not_o understand_v the_o intent_n or_o design_n of_o the_o writer_n in_o the_o place_n where_o such_o expression_n be_v no_o nor_o as_o be_v to_o be_v fear_v do_v you_o
they_o may_v be_v with_o some_o but_o though_o the_o thing_n necessary_a to_o salvation_n be_v in_o the_o revelation_n of_o they_o accommodate_v to_o the_o capacity_n of_o the_o weak_a and_o simple_a who_o salvation_n be_v design_v by_o they_o as_o well_o and_o as_o much_o as_o they_o of_o strong_a and_o quick_a apprehension_n yet_o there_o be_v thing_n under_o the_o new_a testament_n that_o be_v hard_a to_o be_v utter_v as_o the_o phrase_n be_v heb._n 5.11_o and_o therefore_o hard_a to_o be_v understand_v as_o the_o phrase_n be_v again_o 2._o pet._n 3.16_o as_o there_o be_v milk_n for_o babe_n who_o be_v unskilful_a in_o the_o word_n of_o righteousness_n so_o there_o be_v meat_n for_o strong_a man_n who_o by_o reason_n of_o use_n have_v their_o sense_n exercise_v to_o discern_v both_o good_a and_o evil_n as_o it_o be_v say_v heb._n 5.13_o 14._o and_o man_n difference_n about_o these_o point_n proceed_v at_o the_o best_a from_o their_o different_a measure_n of_o light_n and_o of_o all_o this_o be_v to_o review_v the_o ground_n you_o have_v go_v on_o and_o to_o cease_v from_o your_o new_a notion_n and_o speculation_n of_o your_o be_v teach_v only_o by_o the_o light_n within_o which_o you_o have_v take_v up_o from_o some_o expression_n in_o scripture_n misunderstand_v by_o you_o and_o whole_o disagree_v to_o the_o scope_n of_o the_o place_n where_o they_o be_v
