of_o reveal_v 5._o in_o immediate_a divine_a revelation_n we_o believe_v the_o truth_n itself_o for_o the_o authority_n of_o the_o revealer_n or_o relator_n himself_o which_o be_v god_n and_o we_o assent_v to_o the_o revelation_n have_v a_o certain_a knowledge_n thereof_o either_o by_o the_o help_n of_o our_o sense_n external_a and_o internal_a or_o without_o they_o immediate_o by_o our_o pure_a virgin_n in_o this_o case_n the_o prophet_n it_o be_v to_o be_v suppose_v be_v assure_v by_o a_o certain_a knowledge_n that_o this_o revelation_n be_v real_a and_o not_o imaginary_a so_o that_o he_o believe_v the_o truth_n reveal_v with_o a_o most_o firm_a faith_n for_o the_o authority_n of_o god_n the_o prime_a verity_n who_o he_o know_v to_o be_v the_o revealer_n for_o if_o he_o have_v not_o assure_o know_v this_o he_o can_v not_o have_v adhere_v firm_o to_o the_o mystery_n though_o in_o itself_o never_o so_o true_a and_o infallible_a a_o second_o example_n shall_v be_v of_o a_o immediate_a revelation_n also_o but_o yet_o somewhat_o of_o a_o different_a nature_n from_o the_o former_a viz._n of_o our_o saviour_n teach_v the_o jew_n that_o he_o be_v the_o messiah_n the_o eternal_a son_n of_o god_n and_o confirm_v this_o truth_n by_o divine_a miracle_n in_o all_o outward_a appearance_n he_o seem_v to_o be_v but_o a_o man_n and_o therefore_o what_o he_o teach_v can_v not_o be_v the_o object_n of_o divine_a faith_n neither_o can_v his_o hearer_n have_v assurance_n of_o his_o authority_n unless_o they_o be_v assure_v of_o the_o truth_n of_o his_o miracle_n a_o three_o example_n shall_v be_v of_o the_o same_o reveal_v truth_n viz._n that_o christ_n be_v the_o messiah_n etc._n etc._n but_o propose_v to_o person_n live_v in_o the_o second_o or_o three_o age_n after_o that_o time_n by_o those_o who_o either_o be_v themselves_o eye-witness_n or_o receive_v it_o from_o those_o that_o be_v in_o this_o case_n the_o person_n live_v in_o the_o second_o or_o three_o age_n if_o they_o have_v not_o certitude_n that_o those_o that_o tell_v they_o this_o do_v not_o lie_v can_v not_o with_o a_o faith_n rational_o firm_a and_o certain_a assent_n to_o those_o catholic_a christian_n and_o by_o consequence_n most_o certain_a and_o indubitable_a one_o principal_a one_o be_v the_o authority_n of_o the_o present_a church_n consider_v not_o as_o a_o relator_n only_o but_o as_o authorize_v by_o christ_n to_o teach_v this_o and_o all_o other_o doctrine_n so_o as_o to_o oblige_v all_o man_n to_o belief_n and_o obedience_n which_o special_a doctrine_n though_o
