of_o the_o two_o so_o that_o epictetus_n look_v upon_o the_o soul_n as_o endue_v with_o reason_n may_v upon_o this_o account_n very_o just_o say_v that_o she_o have_v it_o in_o her_o power_n to_o faculty_n of_o sensation_n into_o the_o person_n who_o receive_v its_o impression_n nor_o draw_v he_o by_o violence_n to_o itself_o but_o only_o present_v itself_o to_o the_o eye_n in_o such_o proportion_n as_o be_v proper_a for_o unite_n with_o that_o organ_n of_o sense_n which_o be_v ordain_v by_o nature_n and_o fit_v for_o that_o union_n and_o so_o the_o object_n of_o desire_n present_v its_o convenience_n and_o fitness_n to_o the_o soul_n and_o this_o invite_v such_o motion_n as_o nature_n have_v provide_v proper_a for_o this_o purpose_n thus_o it_o must_v needs_o be_v because_o we_o see_v that_o when_o desirable_a object_n offer_v themselves_o some_o people_n be_v and_o other_o be_v not_o affect_v with_o they_o whereas_o if_o the_o object_n be_v enduce_v with_o such_o a_o kind_n of_o expansion_n in_o the_o mind_n a_o move_a forward_o towards_o the_o thing_n desire_v without_o any_o local_a motion_n in_o the_o person_n desire_v such_o as_o we_o may_v resemble_v to_o
