christ_n or_o no_o save_o one_o soul_n which_o they_o say_v be_v all_o the_o grace_n god_n vouchsafe_v to_o any_o so_o that_o by_o their_o doctrine_n none_o can_v be_v save_v but_o all_o must_v unavoidable_o perish_v beside_o how_o unjust_a do_v they_o render_v god_n to_o be_v see_v he_o as_o they_o say_v give_v christ_n to_o die_v for_o all_o man_n with_o a_o intention_n to_o save_v they_o and_o this_o without_o any_o desert_n of_o man_n which_o be_v the_o great_a gift_n and_o yet_o he_o deny_v the_o gospel_n to_o the_o great_a part_n of_o the_o world_n nay_o and_o effectual_a grace_n to_o many_o nay_o to_o all_o according_a to_o they_o that_o attend_v upon_o the_o administration_n thereof_o see_v he_o can_v as_o easy_o bend_v or_o incline_v the_o will_n if_o he_o please_v of_o such_o who_o do_v not_o believe_v as_o he_o do_v they_o that_o do_v believe_v strange_a do_v christ_n spill_v his_o blood_n for_o the_o great_a part_n of_o mankind_n in_o vain_a nay_o die_v in_o their_o stead_n for_o they_o that_o he_o foreknow_v will_v reject_v he_o and_o believe_v not_o do_v he_o give_v million_o for_o they_o to_o redeem_v they_o and_o deny_v one_o pound_n to_o make_v fall_v yea_o fall_v from_o grace_n and_o also_o how_o far_o they_o may_v fall_v and_o then_o proceed_v to_o demonstrate_v the_o truth_n of_o the_o proposition_n and_o prove_v that_o they_o can_v christ_n purchase_v grace_n for_o we_o if_o he_o be_v manifest_a to_o take_v away_o sin_n if_o christ_n be_v the_o author_n and_o finisher_n of_o grace_n in_o the_o soul_n if_o the_o life_n of_o grace_n tend_v so_o much_o to_o the_o honour_n of_o christ_n if_o christ_n work_n now_o in_o heaven_n be_v to_o intercede_v for_o the_o continuation_n of_o grace_n in_o we_o that_o it_o may_v never_o fail_v in_o the_o seed_n or_o habit_n of_o it_o then_o no_o true_a believer_n can_v fall_v so_o from_o grace_n as_o eternal_o to_o perish_v but_o all_o this_o be_v true_a therefore_o no_o believer_n can_v so_o fall_v from_o grace_n as_o eternal_o to_o perish_v application_n first_o of_o information_n 1._o first_o from_o the_o whole_a we_o may_v learn_v that_o the_o state_n of_o believer_n through_o the_o redemption_n by_o jesus_n christ_n be_v far_o better_a than_o adam_n be_v by_o creation_n for_o though_o we_o have_v no_o natural_a and_o inherent_a power_n of_o our_o own_o yet_o we_o have_v a_o supernatural_a power_n engage_v to_o help_v and_o uphold_v we_o we_o be_v keep_v by_o the_o power_n of_o god_n he_o stand_v by_o the_o strength_n of_o nature_n and_o power_n of_o freewill_n before_o the_o fall_n we_o by_o the_o strength_n of_o grace_n and_o power_n of_o the_o mediator_n who_o have_v a_o charge_n to_o uphold_v we_o in_o a_o state_n of_o grace_n which_o be_v not_o allow_v to_o adam_n nor_o the_o angel_n we_o have_v not_o only_o the_o word_n of_o grace_n to_o encourage_v we_o but_o also_o the_o power_n of_o grace_n to_o establish_v we_o adam_n stand_v by_o his_o own_o therefore_o if_o thou_o do_v begin_v well_o have_v obtain_v true_a grace_n and_o do_v continue_v in_o a_o way_n of_o well-doing_n or_o do_v bring_v forth_o good_a fruit_n and_o do_v not_o waver_v as_o he_o that_o have_v a_o strong_a sight_n or_o good_a eye_n 2._o this_o doctrine_n yield_v much_o comfort_n to_o the_o strong_a saint_n also_o for_o if_o he_o that_o have_v never_o so_o strong_a and_o lively_a faith_n may_v fall_v final_o away_o and_o perish_v what_o will_v regeneration_n justification_n adoption_n etc._n etc._n signify_v to_o he_o will_v not_o his_o spirit_n droop_v and_o his_o fear_n torment_v he_o but_o here_o by_o virtue_n of_o the_o doctrine_n of_o final_a perseverance_n be_v comfort_n both_o for_o the_o weak_a and_o strong_a both_o have_v equal_a interest_n in_o christ_n in_o god_n love_n in_o the_o covenant_n both_o be_v elect_v both_o be_v in_o christ_n hand_n such_o who_o have_v now_o a_o strong_a faith_n have_v once_o but_o a_o weak_a faith_n it_o be_v but_o a_o little_a seed_n once_o and_o christ_n charge_n extend_v to_o those_o that_o be_v weak_a he_o carry_v the_o lamb_n in_o his_o arm_n and_o the_o stock_n in_o christ_n hand_n be_v sure_a and_o they_o because_o he_o know_v all_o man_n they_o give_v a_o true_a assent_n to_o the_o proposition_n of_o his_o word_n yet_o do_v not_o close_o in_o with_o he_o they_o do_v not_o consent_v to_o be_v not_o quicken_v regenerate_v or_o make_v new_a creature_n nor_o unite_v to_o jesus_n christ_n that_o in_o the_o person_n thus_o wrought_v upon_o there_o be_v or_o may_v be_v such_o a_o assent_n and_o light_n and_o conviction_n of_o the_o truth_n propose_v and_o preach_v to_o they_o as_o in_o its_o kind_n be_v true_a not_o counterfeit_a giving_z or_o afford_v to_o they_o a_o profession_n of_o brethren_n that_o your_o faith_n be_v the_o faith_n of_o god_n elect_n and_o that_o you_o be_v save_o renew_v o_o look_v about_o you_o since_o it_o may_v be_v thus_o the_o doctor_n add_v that_o among_o these_o person_n be_v ofttimes_o some_o that_o be_v endue_v with_o excellent_a gift_n and_o lovely_a part_n qualification_n and_o ability_n render_v they_o very_o useful_a to_o the_o church_n be_v by_o he_o and_o no_o other_o way_n we_o can_v be_v deliver_v from_o the_o curse_n thereof_o 2._o therefore_o it_o follow_v in_o the_o second_o place_n that_o they_o can_v be_v deliver_v from_o the_o gild_n and_o punishment_n of_o their_o sin_n their_o sin_n lie_v upon_o they_o they_o be_v charge_v upon_o all_o that_o neglect_n or_o refuse_v the_o salvation_n wrought_v out_o by_o jesus_n
