mean_n to_o increase_v knowledge_n search_v the_o scripture_n and_o hear_v the_o word_n that_o this_o ignorance_n proceed_v mere_o out_o of_o infirmity_n not_o of_o wilfulness_n otherwise_o this_o ignorance_n in_o some_o truth_n and_o some_o thing_n not_o unnecessary_a to_o be_v know_v the_o eight_o sermon_n luke_n 17._o v._o 5._o lord_n increase_v our_o faith_n chap._n 9_o concern_v those_o do_v many_o truth_n there_o be_v that_o i_o can_v assent_v unto_o and_o those_o which_o i_o do_v assent_n to_o sometime_o i_o think_v i_o do_v assent_n to_o they_o and_o sometime_o again_o not_o and_o be_v with_o the_o other_o act_n of_o faith_n so_o it_o be_v with_o this_o also_o as_o a_o man_n may_v cheat_v himself_o that_o he_o do_v assent_v and_o consequent_o true_o believe_v though_o all_o the_o world_n may_v see_v that_o he_o do_v nothing_o less_o by_o his_o irregular_a walk_a contrary_n to_o his_o profess_a assent_n so_o it_o be_v as_o true_a that_o a_o christian_n may_v true_o believe_v they_o may_v cheat_v themselves_o with_o a_o presumption_n but_o they_o want_v such_o a_o certainty_n of_o persuasion_n and_o such_o a_o fullness_n of_o assurance_n as_o be_v requisite_a double_a cause_n 1._o a_o mistake_n in_o the_o nature_n and_o act_n of_o faith_n 2._o a_o misjudging_a of_o the_o effect_n of_o faith_n first_o the_o complaint_n of_o such_o a_o soul_n which_o yet_o all_o this_o time_n true_o believe_v may_v arise_v from_o a_o mistake_n concern_v the_o nature_n and_o act_n of_o faith_n and_o therefore_o the_o way_n to_o satisfy_v it_o will_v be_v right_o to_o
