be_v needless_a for_o t._n s_o to_o give_v any_o answer_n thereunto_o but_o forasmuch_o as_o thou_o seem_v to_o vaunt_v thyself_o because_o t._n s._n have_v not_o speak_v particular_o in_o answer_n to_o those_o scripture_n which_o thou_o call_v t._n c._n his_o cloud_n of_o witness_n and_o that_o both_o in_o thy_o paper_n and_o also_o in_o t._n c._n his_o answer_n to_o t._n s._n his_o epistle_n than_o what_o be_v manifest_a in_o he_o and_o write_v in_o his_o heart_n his_o mouth_n and_o the_o mouth_n of_o many_o of_o his_o brethren_n will_v soon_o be_v stop_v for_o though_o that_o which_o faith_n in_o christ_n but_o though_o we_o own_v no_o other_o perfection_n then_o that_o which_o be_v by_o faith_n in_o christ_n who_o be_v the_o perfection_n of_o his_o people_n and_o be_v all_o in_o servant_n unto_o sin_n and_o what_o press_v after_o perfection_n or_o freedom_n from_o sin_n be_v there_o like_a to_o be_v with_o such_o who_o affirm_v that_o god_n never_o have_v yet_o a_o church_n in_o the_o world_n without_o sin_n and_o that_o who_o ever_o affirm_v the_o contrary_a be_v hypocrite_n will_v any_o that_o believe_v this_o press_v after_o that_o which_o none_o yet_o can_v ever_o attain_v or_o be_v not_o this_o to_o press_v after_o a_o impossibility_n and_o if_o by_o press_v after_o it_o they_o shall_v attain_v to_o it_o and_o make_v confession_n of_o it_o it_o seem_v they_o must_v be_v account_v hypocrite_n this_o be_v small_a encouragement_n to_o any_o to_o press_v after_o perfection_n or_o freedom_n from_o sin_n but_o we_o be_v not_o ignorant_a what_o that_o imagine_a perfection_n be_v of_o which_o you_o speak_v and_o which_o you_o say_v you_o press_v after_o for_o although_o abomination_n reign_v in_o your_o soul_n and_o iniquity_n apparent_o write_v on_o your_o forehead_n head_n and_o that_o you_o be_v even_o draw_v it_o as_o with_o cart-rope_n yet_o because_o you_o can_v sometime_o make_v a_o hypocritical_a confession_n of_o this_o condition_n and_o plead_v for_o it_o to_o which_o i_o answer_v thou_o have_v herein_o deal_v notorious_o wicked_a with_o t._n s._n as_o t._n c._n have_v do_v with_o other_o before_o for_o t._n s._n have_v not_o say_v and_o be_v not_o the_o church_n of_o christ_n and_o thou_o say_v the_o forementioned_a person_n at_o a_o meeting_n at_o glaston_n with_o t._n c._n protest_v that_o they_o be_v not_o perfect_a nor_o free_a from_o sin_n but_o press_v after_o it_o therefore_o thou_o query_v how_o they_o shift_v themselves_o from_o be_v enemy_n to_o the_o cross_n of_o christ_n i_o answer_v though_o thou_o have_v labour_v much_o to_o bring_v forth_o this_o work_n of_o wickedness_n hope_v thereby_o to_o trap_v the_o innocent_a yet_o it_o will_v not_o at_o all_o serve_v for_o thy_o purpose_n for_o though_o in_o attain_v or_o be_v already_o perfect_a yet_o we_o do_v confess_v open_o to_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n that_o we_o do_v witness_v he_o come_v and_o to_o live_v in_o we_o who_o be_v perfect_a and_o that_o we_o do_v believe_v that_o perfection_n be_v attainable_a in_o this_o life_n through_o he_o and_o that_o have_v this_o hope_n it_o do_v purify_v our_o heart_n even_o as_o he_o be_v pure_a who_o work_v all_o our_o work_n for_o we_o and_o in_o we_o and_o that_o in_o this_o faith_n we_o be_v press_v after_o perfection_n and_o of_o this_o faith_n do_v we_o make_v confession_n open_o as_o many_o can_v testify_v and_o this_o be_v the_o faith_n to_o which_o we_o be_v convert_v and_o so_o we_o do_v not_o remain_v in_o the_o unconverted_a estate_n neither_o be_v we_o seduce_v or_o deceive_v but_o be_v establish_v in_o the_o eternal_a live_a truth_n and_o not_o out_o of_o it_o and_o by_o the_o spirit_n of_o truth_n which_o we_o have_v receive_v we_o be_v able_a to_o judge_v of_o seducer_n and_o deceiver_n and_o we_o do_v likewise_o declare_v that_o we_o be_v by_o nature_n child_n of_o wrath_n as_o well_o as_o other_o and_o that_o we_o have_v long_o travel_v under_o the_o burden_n of_o sin_n and_o bondage_n of_o corruption_n whilst_o the_o strong_a man_n arm_v keep_v the_o house_n and_o that_o we_o have_v know_v the_o terror_n of_o the_o lord_n against_o sin_n and_o we_o do_v likewise_o take_v we_o in_o confusion_n or_o contradiction_n which_o thou_o have_v labour_v after_o for_o if_o we_o have_v protest_v as_o thou_o say_v that_o we_o be_v not_o perfect_a than_o thou_o have_v nothing_o against_o we_o as_o to_o that_o it_o be_v one_o main_a charge_n against_o the_o people_n call_v quaker_n though_o a_o very_a false_a one_o that_o they_o say_v they_o be_v perfect_a and_o now_o if_o we_o have_v say_v that_o we_o be_v not_o perfect_a then_o be_v we_o clear_v of_o that_o charge_n but_o thou_o be_v not_o willing_a we_o shall_v pass_v so_o and_o therefore_o thou_o say_v thou_o do_v question_n whether_o we_o do_v not_o lie_v notorious_o etc._n etc._n and_o here_o through_o thy_o envy_n thou_o haft_n manifest_v thy_o folly_n and_o in_o strike_v at_o we_o thou_o have_v wound_v thyself_o for_o if_o we_o do_v lie_v notorious_o in_o say_v we_o be_v not_o perfect_a than_o it_o will_v follow_v that_o if_o we_o have_v say_v we_o be_v perfect_a we_o have_v speak_v truth_n and_o yet_o if_o any_o say_v they_o be_v perfect_a or_o free_a from_o sin_n such_o be_v account_v hypocrite_n so_o if_o any_o confess_v that_o he_o have_v not_o attain_v but_o be_v press_v after_o perfection_n he_o be_v suspect_v to_o be_v a_o notorious_a liar_n and_o if_o any_o through_o the_o love_n of_o god_n shall_v confess_v to_o his_o glory_n that_o he_o be_v redeem_v from_o sin_n and_o transgression_n and_o bring_v into_o the_o glorious_a liberty_n of_o the_o son_n of_o god_n where_o he_o do_v not_o commit_v sin_n such_o a_o one_o be_v say_v to_o be_v a_o hypocrite_n what_o work_n be_v here_o confusion_n with_o a_o witness_n who_o can_v escape_v thy_o slanderous_a tongue_n true_o thou_o be_v so_o drink_v with_o rage_n and_o envy_n that_o it_o even_o darken_v thy_o understanding_n so_o than_o thou_o can_v not_o see_v thy_o folly_n and_o confusion_n but_o because_o of_o the_o perverseness_n of_o thy_o spirit_n thou_o err_v in_o thy_o work_n as_o a_o drunken_a
