vain_a question_n and_o curious_a disputation_n to_o think_v to_o determine_v of_o the_o matter_n according_a to_o truth_n and_o to_o the_o contentation_n of_o every_o one_o for_o as_o we_o have_v before_o touch_v we_o can_v know_v nothing_o either_o of_o the_o generation_n or_o original_n or_o of_o the_o substance_n and_o nature_n of_o our_o soul_n or_o of_o the_o immortality_n thereof_o but_o only_o by_o those_o testimony_n which_o by_o the_o effect_n it_o aftoord_v unto_o we_o and_o which_o god_n set_v down_o in_o his_o word_n wherefore_o according_a to_o that_o which_o have_v be_v already_o handle_v we_o must_v distinguish_v those_o thing_n unto_o which_o our_o mind_n may_v in_o some_o sort_n reach_n and_o of_o which_o we_o may_v have_v some_o knowledge_n from_o they_o that_o only_o infect_v with_o this_o execrable_a atheism_n but_o profess_v it_o open_v a_o school_n thereof_o and_o know_v how_o to_o poison_v many_o with_o it_o for_o as_o there_o be_v never_o yet_o opinion_n error_n or_o heresy_n so_o strange_a or_o monstrous_a in_o the_o world_n that_o have_v not_o always_o find_v man_n enough_o to_o receive_v it_o so_o long_o as_o there_o be_v author_n and_o master_n to_o set_v it_o abroach_o so_o these_o professor_n of_o atheism_n be_v never_o without_o great_a store_n of_o disciple_n because_o after_o this_o manner_n god_n punish_v the_o curiosity_n ingratitude_n and_o perverseness_n of_o man_n the_o contempt_n of_o his_o word_n and_o hatred_n of_o the_o truth_n which_o be_v common_o in_o they_o as_o also_o the_o pleasure_n they_o take_v in_o vanity_n and_o lie_n therefore_o god_n by_o his_o just_a judgement_n give_v they_o over_o into_o a_o reprobate_a sense_n so_o that_o they_o can_v but_o always_o reject_v the_o truth_n and_o embrace_v error_n and_o lie_v as_o he_o often_o threaten_v they_o by_o the_o mouth_n of_o his_o prophet_n and_o apostle_n 12._o example_n hereof_o we_o see_v daily_o in_o such_o as_o think_v themselves_o the_o the_o mean_a time_n we_o see_v that_o although_o the_o soul_n of_o man_n seem_v in_o nothing_o or_o very_o little_a to_o differ_v from_o that_o of_o plant_n as_o long_o as_o it_o be_v in_o the_o mother_n womb_n nor_o from_o the_o soul_n of_o beast_n during_o the_o time_n of_o his_o infancy_n nevertheless_o afterward_o it_o show_v very_o well_o wherein_o it_o differ_v from_o they_o and_o that_o it_o have_v certain_a virtue_n which_o be_v not_o in_o any_o other_o soul_n for_o if_o this_o be_v not_o so_o both_o in_o respect_n of_o the_o age_n and_o growth_n of_o the_o body_n as_o also_o other_o for_o it_o be_v certain_a that_o even_o for_o a_o little_a true_a knowledge_n of_o god_n and_o of_o the_o truth_n of_o those_o thing_n which_o he_o have_v reveal_v unto_o we_o in_o his_o doctrine_n we_o receive_v singular_a delight_n with_o great_a joy_n and_o sweet_a consolation_n so_o that_o every_o man_n may_v perceive_v how_o much_o great_a the_o pleasure_n will_v be_v when_o the_o knowledge_n shall_v be_v great_a if_o then_o this_o small_a taste_n which_o we_o may_v have_v in_o this_o world_n of_o these_o delicacy_n and_o spiritual_a delight_n bring_v unto_o we_o such_o singular_a joy_n we_o may_v easy_o judge_v how_o great_a it_o will_v be_v in_o that_o most_o happy_a contemplation_n which_o we_o shall_v have_v in_o heaven_n with_o god_n when_o we_o shall_v behold_v of_o the_o heart_n namely_o of_o one_o that_o proceed_v from_o nature_n pure_a and_o entire_a and_o of_o another_o that_o come_v from_o nature_n as_o it_o be_v corrupt_v pride_n so_o that_o we_o may_v bold_o say_v that_o there_o be_v a_o kind_n of_o pride_n which_o be_v no_o vice_n but_o a_o virtue_n or_o at_o leastwise_o the_o seed_n of_o virtue_n for_o there_o be_v no_o vicious_a or_o evil_a
