in_o tender_a bowel_n of_o love_n to_o look_v at_o the_o power_n light_n life_n and_o truth_n of_o god_n within_o in_o every_o one_o of_o you_o in_o particular_a for_o friend_n it_o be_v not_o the_o outward_a profession_n that_o will_v stand_v you_o in_o stead_n in_o the_o day_n of_o trial_n and_o in_o the_o day_n when_o all_o secret_n shall_v be_v make_v manifest_a nor_o approve_v you_o to_o god_n without_o the_o power_n and_o truth_n of_o god_n within_o and_o therefore_o friend_n in_o the_o bowel_n of_o tender_a compassion_n let_v the_o evil_a mind_a think_v never_o so_o otherwise_o i_o be_o move_v as_o before_o say_v to_o exhort_v you_o to_o look_v to_o your_o stand_n that_o you_o turn_v inward_a and_o see_v what_o foundation_n you_o be_v build_v on_o for_o friend_n that_o which_o be_v not_o build_v on_o a_o good_a foundation_n will_v come_v to_o nothing_o if_o the_o foundation_n be_v rot_v and_o corrupt_a you_o know_v whatsoever_o be_v build_v thereon_o suffer_v loss_n therefore_o let_v every_o soul_n take_v heed_n how_o he_o build_v thereon_o for_o every_o man_n work_n must_v be_v try_v now_o if_o you_o build_v on_o the_o truth_n and_o power_n of_o god_n you_o and_o another_o foundation_n can_v no_o man_n lay_v than_o that_o which_o be_v already_o lay_v and_o that_o be_v jesus_n christ_n the_o power_n of_o god_n the_o wisdom_n and_o truth_n of_o god_n this_o be_v that_o ground_n and_o pillar_n of_o truth_n that_o save_v to_o the_o utmost_a all_o that_o come_v unto_o it_o and_o build_v on_o it_o therefore_o friend_n mind_n whether_o you_o have_v build_v on_o this_o foundation_n whether_o the_o truth_n power_n and_o spirit_n of_o god_n be_v the_o thing_n that_o you_o mind_n the_o foundation_n that_o you_o build_v on_o how_o to_o come_v to_o the_o foundation_n and_o build_v thereon_o and_o how_o to_o know_v in_o the_o light_n of_o god_n when_o the_o soul_n have_v build_v on_o the_o sure_a foundation_n there_o must_v be_v a_o dig_v deep_a to_o build_v on_o this_o foundation_n it_o be_v not_o so_o easy_a as_o many_o professor_n think_v of_o thou_o must_v dig_v down_o into_o thy_o innermost_a part_n into_o the_o secret_n of_o thy_o soul_n deep_a yea_o very_o deep_a into_o humility_n must_v thou_o sink_v and_o resign_v up_o free_o and_o must_v be_v content_a to_o be_v nothing_o in_o thy_o will_n wisdom_n understanding_n etc._n etc._n oh_o soul_n before_o thou_o can_v find_v the_o foundation_n the_o rock_n to_o build_v on_o and_o in_o the_o deep_a thou_o may_v find_v it_o for_o it_o be_v hide_v from_o the_o carnal_a wise_a man_n by_o all_o his_o wisdom_n he_o can_v search_v it_o out_o and_o all_o his_o notional_a knowledge_n though_o he_o may_v speak_v much_o of_o the_o foundation_n be_v too_o short_a to_o fathom_v it_o and_o now_o friend_n if_o you_o be_v build_v on_o this_o foundation_n this_o rock_n than_o you_o be_v immovable_a and_o can_v be_v shake_v away_o from_o the_o confidence_n that_o you_o have_v spring_v up_o from_o hence_o and_o you_o be_v sure_a and_o steadfast_a and_o you_o walk_v in_o the_o pure_a fear_n of_o the_o lord_n and_o you_o be_v of_o tender_a bowel_n and_o full_a of_o compassion_n to_o all_o the_o lord_n little_a one_o and_o you_o be_v of_o a_o meek_a spirit_n and_o lowly_a in_o heart_n and_o you_o be_v of_o tender_a compassion_n to_o all_o the_o creation_n of_o god_n you_o be_v weak_a with_o the_o weak_a and_o bear_v a_o dear_a sympathy_n with_o the_o afflict_a precious_a son_n and_o daughter_n of_o zion_n let_v they_o be_v under_o what_o name_n and_o notion_n soever_o if_o have_v a_o good_a tree_n and_o if_o a_o good_a tree_n there_o must_v be_v good_a fruit_n now_o friend_n by_o this_o you_o may_v come_v to_o know_v whether_o you_o be_v build_v upon_o the_o power_n life_n and_o truth_n of_o god_n or_o what_o foundation_n you_o be_v build_v on_o let_v i_o lay_v it_o far_o before_o you_o now_o if_o we_o have_v a_o good_a foundation_n we_o have_v a_o good_a building_n a_o good_a house_n and_o there_o be_v good_a order_n and_o government_n in_o this_o house_n and_o good_a diet_n good_a meat_n and_o drink_n and_o choice_a clothing_n and_o bless_a safety_n and_o no_o lordly_a or_o majestic_a superiority_n over_o one_o another_o in_o this_o house_n or_o family_n that_o be_v build_v on_o the_o power_n and_o life_n of_o god_n with_o other_o good_a thing_n now_o that_o soul_n that_o have_v build_v upon_o christ_n the_o truth_n and_o power_n of_o god_n have_v a_o good_a building_n a_o good_a house_n and_o it_o be_v none_o other_o but_o the_o house_n of_o god_n the_o temple_n of_o god_n and_o god_n have_v say_v i_o will_v dwell_v with_o you_o and_o walk_v in_o you_o and_o be_v your_o god_n etc._n etc._n and_o this_o every_o saint_n be_v in_o particular_a the_o habitation_n

now_o friend_n i_o be_o not_o a_o judge_n of_o any_o of_o you_o neither_o a_o dissuade_v you_o though_o the_o evil_a mind_n in_o some_o may_v think_v i_o do_v insinuate_v to_o draw_v from_o the_o use_n of_o the_o element_n but_o do_v as_o the_o lord_n shall_v direct_v you_o and_o as_o you_o see_v he_o go_v before_o you_o in_o all_o you_o do_v and_o move_v you_o after_o and_o leave_v nothing_o undo_v that_o you_o be_v real_o persuade_v in_o your_o conscience_n to_o be_v your_o duty_n lest_o you_o get_v a_o wound_n to_o your_o soul_n and_o the_o lord_n shall_v say_v who_o have_v require_v this_o of_o you_o etc._n etc._n but_o know_v from_o the_o lord_n god_n your_o life_n lie_v not_o here_o viz._n in_o these_o outward_a observation_n though_o never_o so_o strict_o observe_v but_o in_o mind_n or_o persuasion_n in_o the_o outward_a observation_n friend_n turn_v in_o and_o stand_v still_o from_o your_o own_o way_n and_o commune_v with_o your_o heart_n and_o make_v enquiry_n do_v i_o eat_v of_o this_o bread_n of_o life_n and_o drink_v of_o those_o pure_a spring_n of_o refreshment_n do_v the_o lord_n lead_v i_o into_o his_o green_a and_o fresh_a pasture_n and_o make_v i_o to_o lie_v down_o and_o repose_v my_o soul_n in_o eternal_a kindness_n and_o do_v i_o receive_v my_o refresh_n from_o the_o pure_a and_o clear_a crystal_n fountain_n of_o live_a water_n or_o do_v i_o take_v up_o in_o the_o outward_a observance_n and_o less_o mind_n this_o inward_a feed_n this_o inward_a drink_n of_o the_o bread_n and_o water_n of_o life_n oh_o friend_n this_o thing_n be_v to_o be_v well_o mind_v and_o weigh_v in_o the_o truth_n and_o equity_n of_o god_n now_o there_o be_v many_o a_o poor_a soul_n more_o a_o mind_v the_o outward_a observance_n than_o the_o inward_a virtue_n and_o power_n of_o the_o live_a god_n as_o it_o be_v in_o day_n of_o old_a so_o it_o be_v now_o one_o cry_n in_o this_o observation_n lo_o here_o be_v christ_n and_o other_o in_o that_o observation_n lo_o there_o be_v christ_n etc._n etc._n every_o persuasion_n cry_v up_o their_o own_o and_o say_v come_v among_o we_o christ_n be_v here_o in_o the_o observe_n of_o this_o order_n and_o other_o in_o that_o order_n and_o so_o be_v divide_v among_o themselves_o and_o be_v in_o confusion_n in_o babylon_n and_o know_v not_o where_o christ_n be_v but_o what_o say_v the_o scripture_n believe_v they_o not_o go_v not_o forth_o after_o they_o now_o friend_n christ_n be_v nigh_o thou_o in_o thy_o heart_n as_o paul_n do_v witness_v the_o righteousness_n that_o be_v of_o fatth_v say_v on_o this_o wise_a hide_v in_o the_o field_n of_o every_o man_n heart_n and_o therefore_o friend_n stand_v still_o from_o thy_o own_o word_n work_n thought_n and_o carnal_a reason_n of_o the_o fleshly_a wise_a part_n and_o hearken_v to_o the_o voice_n of_o christ_n in_o thy_o own_o particular_a which_o can_v be_v hear_v but_o in_o a_o still_o quiet_a state_n of_o the_o soul_n free_o resign_v up_o to_o god_n to_o be_v no_o more_o any_o thing_n in_o itself_o but_o that_o god_n may_v be_v all_o in_o all_o and_o above_o all_o to_o its_o soul_n and_o as_o to_o the_o outward_a which_o man_n flesh_n and_o carnal_a wisdom_n make_v such_o a_o stir_n about_o they_o walk_v in_o as_o they_o have_v freedom_n and_o see_v the_o lord_n go_v before_o they_o in_o it_o and_o if_o any_o thing_n outward_a be_v do_v otherwise_o it_o be_v but_o fleshly_a labour_n which_o profit_v not_o oh_o but_o how_o many_o poor_a heart_n be_v there_o that_o think_v god_fw-we can_v be_v enjoy_v true_o and_o have_v communion_n with_o true_o but_o it_o must_v be_v enjoy_v and_o have_v in_o such_o a_o way_n in_o such_o a_o form_n which_o i_o know_v be_v the_o language_n of_o man_n in_o different_a form_n way_n or_o persuasion_n every_o one_o bind_v as_o it_o be_v and_o limit_v the_o holy_a god_n to_o their_o persuasion_n but_o friend_n the_o lord_n be_v free_a to_o work_v where_o he_o please_v and_o when_o he_o please_v and_o on_o who_o he_o please_v and_o this_o i_o have_v hear_v some_o say_v but_o will_v not_o stand_v unto_o it_o but_o bound_v up_o the_o lord_n in_o his_o working_n as_o much_o as_o they_o can_v and_o call_v all_o into_o question_n that_o the_o soul_n enjoy_v of_o god_n if_o it_o come_v not_o in_o at_o their_o door_n though_o it_o do_v come_v in_o at_o the_o door_n of_o the_o sheepfold_a as_o i_o have_v have_v experience_n of_o and_o do_v know_v of_o what_o i_o speak_v and_o much_o more_o than_o this_o also_o but_o friend_n the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n manifest_v its_o so_o manifest_a that_o they_o be_v in_o babylon_n in_o confusion_n it_o be_v he_o in_o what_o narion_n soever_o whether_o jew_n or_o gentile_n bond_n or_o free_a one_o or_o tother_o that_o fear_v the_o lord_n and_o work_v righteousness_n and_o that_o have_v all_o his_o work_n within_o wrought_v in_o and_o by_o god_n within_o be_v except_v of_o he_o it_o be_v not_o he_o that_o observe_v observation_n without_o but_o he_o that_o stand_v in_o the_o power_n spirit_n and_o truth_n of_o god_n within_o that_o be_v accept_v it_o be_v not_o thus_o much_o outward_a observance_n but_o this_o inward_a obedience_n that_o soul_n that_o be_v convince_v of_o this_o be_v near_o the_o kingdom_n near_o the_o possession_n now_o stand_v but_o still_o from_o act_v in_o thy_o will_n and_o sink_v down_o into_o god_n and_o settle_v upon_o the_o foundation_n and_o resign_v up_o all_o to_o the_o lord_n and_o stand_v to_o his_o order_n and_o cleave_v to_o truth_n with_o a_o purpose_n of_o heart_n free_o give_v to_o i_o to_o experience_n and_o to_o spring_v up_o in_o i_o free_o declare_v i_o unto_o you_o my_o dear_a friend_n all_o unto_o who_o this_o be_v write_v that_o you_o may_v all_o eat_v in_o day_n past_a and_o so_o oppose_v of_o the_o seed_n of_o god_n and_o so_o as_o pharaoh_n will_v labour_v to_o deal_v subtle_o that_o it_o spread_v no_o further_o but_o i_o shall_v leave_v it_o and_o myself_o to_o the_o lord_n and_o wait_v on_o he_o as_o be_v give_v up_o to_o his_o will_n not_o fear_v what_o man_n can_v do_v or_o say_v know_v that_o i_o be_o a_o discharge_n my_o duty_n and_o conscience_n herein_o of_o the_o inward_a adorn_v and_o beautify_v of_o god_n house_n further_a friend_n the_o lord_n my_o god_n

will_v clothe_v you_o all_o with_o rich_a and_o soft_a clothing_n for_o all_o his_o family_n be_v array_v with_o soft_a raiment_n oh_o every_o one_o that_o will_v be_v a_o daughter_n of_o this_o king_n jehovah_n tzebaot_n the_o lord_n of_o host_n shall_v be_v all_o glorious_a within_o and_o shall_v be_v bring_v into_o the_o palace_n of_o the_o king_n and_o the_o king_n shall_v great_o their_o building_n and_o from_o which_o they_o restify_v that_o their_o work_n be_v wrought_v in_o god_n and_o have_v it_o not_o it_o must_v suffer_v loss_n some_o think_v to_o shroud_v themselves_o under_o such_o a_o form_n and_o such_o a_o form_n and_o such_o a_o observation_n outward_o but_o it_o be_v not_o the_o form_n or_o observation_n outward_o that_o can_v hide_v any_o poor_a soul_n from_o the_o wrath_n of_o god_n and_o of_o the_o lamb_n the_o which_o every_o soul_n be_v expose_v to_o let_v they_o be_v shroud_v where_o they_o will_v it_o be_v nothing_o but_o this_o cover_n to_o
