divers_a sense_n but_o also_o when_o most_o seemingly-plain_a of_o another_o sense_n than_o they_o import_v because_o of_o the_o consonancy_n they_o be_v to_o have_v with_o some_o other_o scripture_n lest_o god_n word_n be_v make_v to_o contradict_v hence_o be_v one_o man_n bible_n where_o thus_o ambiguous_a as_o fallible_a a_o proponent_n to_o he_o in_o respect_n of_o the_o possibility_n of_o his_o mis-intepreting_a it_o as_o another_o man_n pastor_n in_o respect_n of_o his_o possibility_n of_o err_a and_o indeed_o the_o former_a interpret_n scripture_n to_o himself_o seem_v to_o be_v less_o infallible_a in_o his_o faith_n than_o the_o other_o learning_n of_o his_o pastor_n expound_v it_o because_o he_o be_v more_o likely_a to_o mistake_v the_o sense_n thereof_o than_o the_o other_o else_o why_o be_v he_o appoint_v for_o his_o teacher_n who_o faith_n he_o be_v to_o follow_v heb._n 13._o 7_o though_o i_o affirm_v a_o sufficient_a and_o save_a faith_n may_v be_v and_o be_v attain_v by_o either_o mean_n hear_v one_o pastor_n or_o read_v the_o scripture_n 3._o since_o all_o save_a faith_n in_o we_o be_v the_o effect_n of_o the_o spirit_n why_o may_v not_o our_o faith_n infallible_a proponent_n sometime_o at_o least_o namely_o where_o the_o matter_n of_o our_o belief_n be_v as_o in_o many_o thing_n it_o be_v most_o conformable_a to_o reason_n shall_v not_o be_v a_o sufficient_a cause_n to_o beget_v save_v faith_n without_o the_o supernatural_a concourse_n of_o god_n spirit_n and_o what_o need_v that_o to_o be_v also_o spiritual_o which_o be_v rational_o 31._o which_o unbelief_n or_o doubt_n that_o it_o never_o happen_v in_o respect_n of_o the_o truth_n of_o the_o relation_n but_o always_o only_o in_o the_o supernaturalness_n of_o the_o object_n i_o think_v none_o can_v rational_o affirm_v see_v luk._n 24._o 11._o only_o if_o there_o be_v not_o so_o much_o of_o assent_n as_o to_o turn_v the_o scale_n of_o our_o judgement_n then_o will_v it_o not_o be_v faith_n but_o either_o pure_a doubt_n or_o further_o unbelief_n i'faith_o therefore_o as_o it_o come_v both_o from_o the_o outward_a hear_n of_o god_n word_n and_o the_o several_a proof_n to_o such_o a_o truth_n to_o one_o than_o to_o another_o either_o either_o from_o the_o energy_n of_o the_o spirit_n through_o which_o many_o can_v die_v for_o christ_n that_o can_v well_o dispute_v for_o he_o or_o also_o also_o from_o a_o natural_a more_o passionate_a temper_n or_o or_o from_o hide_v from_o they_o contrary_a verisimility_n and_o and_o from_o ignorance_n of_o the_o weapon_n of_o error_n etc._n etc._n so_o the_o unlearned_a many_o time_n believe_v and_o adhere_v to_o a_o truth_n more_o strong_o through_o ignorance_n of_o any_o argument_n to_o the_o contrary_a than_o the_o learned_a do_v to_o the_o same_o through_o reason_n assault_v with_o many_o doubt_n and_o a_o small_a argument_n to_o a_o weak_a understanding_n beget_v a_o more_o firm_a credence_n than_o a_o strong_a to_o the_o learned_a so_o a_o true_a believer_n may_v be_v less_o confident_a through_o a_o rational_a persuasion_n in_o his_o faith_n than_o another_o through_o the_o violence_n of_o a_o
