but_o a_o hope_n that_o be_v collateral_a indirect_a and_o relative_a we_o do_v not_o say_v any_o thing_n whereby_o you_o can_v conclude_v you_o to_o be_v safe_a than_o we_o for_o it_o be_v not_o safe_a at_o all_o but_o extreme_o dangerous_a we_o affirm_v those_o error_n in_o themselves_o to_o be_v damnable_a some_o to_o contain_v in_o they_o impiety_n some_o to_o have_v sacrilege_n some_o idolatry_n some_o superstition_n some_o practice_n to_o be_v conjure_v and_o charm_v and_o very_o like_a to_o witchcraft_n as_o in_o your_o hallow_n of_o water_n and_o baptise_v bell_n and_o exorcize_a demoniac_n and_o what_o safety_n there_o can_v be_v in_o these_o or_o what_o you_o can_v fancy_v we_o shall_v allow_v to_o you_o i_o suppose_v you_o need_v not_o boast_v of_o now_o because_o we_o hope_v some_o be_v save_v among_o you_o you_o must_v not_o conclude_v you_o to_o be_v safe_a for_o our_o hope_n rely_v upon_o this_o there_o be_v many_o of_o your_o proposition_n in_o which_o we_o differ_v from_o you_o that_o thousand_o among_o you_o understand_v and_o know_v nothing_o of_o it_o be_v to_o they_o as_o if_o they_o be_v not_o it_o be_v to_o they_o now_o as_o it_o be_v before_o the_o council_n they_o hear_v not_o of_o it_o and_o though_o your_o priest_n have_v take_v a_o course_n that_o the_o most_o ignorant_a do_v practice_v some_o of_o your_o abomination_n most_o gross_o yet_o we_o hope_v this_o will_v not_o be_v lay_v upon_o they_o who_o as_o s._n augustine_n expression_n be_v cautâ_fw-la sollicitudine_fw-la quaerunt_fw-la veritatem_fw-la corrigi_fw-la parati_fw-la cum_fw-la invenerint_fw-la do_v according_a as_o they_o be_v able_a wary_o and_o diligent_o seek_v for_o truth_n and_o be_v ready_a to_o follow_v it_o when_o they_o find_v it_o man_n who_o live_v good_a life_n and_o repent_v of_o all_o their_o evil_n know_v and_o unknown_a now_o if_o we_o be_v not_o deceive_v in_o our_o hope_n these_o man_n shall_v rejoice_v in_o the_o eternal_a goodness_n of_o god_n which_o prevail_v over_o the_o malice_n of_o they_o that_o misguide_v you_o but_o if_o we_o be_v deceive_v in_o our_o hope_n of_o you_o your_o guide_n have_v abuse_v you_o and_o of_o you_o as_o it_o be_v know_v principal_o rely_v upon_o the_o hope_n of_o your_o repentance_n now_o we_o say_v that_o a_o man_n may_v repent_v of_o a_o error_n which_o he_o know_v not_o of_o as_o he_o that_o pray_v hearty_o for_o the_o pardon_n of_o all_o his_o sin_n and_o error_n know_v and_o unknown_a by_o his_o general_a repentance_n may_v obtain_v many_o degree_n and_o instance_n of_o mercy_n now_o thus_o much_o also_o your_o man_n allow_v to_o we_o these_o who_o live_v well_o and_o die_v in_o a_o 〈◊〉_d though_o but_o general_a repentance_n of_o their_o sin_n and_o error_n even_o among_o we_o your_o best_a and_o wise_a man_n pronounce_v to_o be_v in_o a_o savable_a condition_n here_o than_o we_o be_v equal_a and_o we_o be_v as_o safe_a by_o your_o confession_n as_o you_o be_v by_o we_o but_o because_o there_o be_v some_o bigot_n of_o your_o faction_n fierce_a and_o fiery_a who_o say_v that_o a_o general_a repentance_n will_v not_o serve_v our_o turn_n but_o it_o must_v be_v a_o particular_a renunciation_n of_o protestancy_n these_o man_n deny_v not_o only_o to_o we_o but_o to_o themselves_o too_o all_o that_o comsort_n which_o they_o derive_v from_o our_o concession_n and_o indeed_o which_o they_o can_v hope_v for_o from_o the_o mercy_n of_o god_n for_o be_v you_o sure_o we_o think_v as_o ill_o of_o vour_z error_n as_o you_o can_v suppose_v of_o our_o 〈◊〉_d and_o therefore_o if_o for_o error_n be_v they_o on_o which_o side_n it_o chance_v a_o general_a 〈◊〉_d will_v not_o serve_v the_o turn_n without_o a_o actual_a dereliction_n then_o slatter_v not_o yourselves_o by_o any_o thing_n of_o our_o kindness_n to_o your_o party_n for_o you_o must_v have_v a_o particular_a if_o a_o general_n be_v not_o 〈◊〉_d but_o if_o it_o be_v sufficient_a for_o you_o it_o be_v so_o for_o we_o in_o case_n we_o be_v in_o error_n as_o your_o man_n suppose_v we_o but_o if_o it_o will_v not_o 〈◊〉_d we_o sore_a remedy_n to_o those_o error_n you_o charge_v we_o with_o neither_o will_v it_o suffice_v you_o for_o the_o case_n must_v needs_o be_v equal_a as_o to_o the_o value_n of_o repentance_n and_o malignity_n of_o the_o error_n and_o therefore_o these_o man_n condemn_v themselves_o
