and_o deny_v himself_o in_o they_o in_o his_o ease_n delight_n gain_n etc._n etc._n much_o more_o must_v he_o deny_v himself_o in_o thing_n to_o be_v suffer_v and_o passive_a duty_n which_o be_v not_o only_o against_o corrupt_a nature_n but_o against_o nature_n entire_a which_o also_o must_v stoop_v and_o be_v deny_v god_n 5._o self_n denial_n itself_o if_o it_o be_v not_o in_o all_o thing_n and_o otherwise_o good_a and_o which_o absolute_o sever_v from_o such_o respect_n may_v be_v seek_v this_o first_o part_n of_o the_o distinction_n may_v be_v better_o conceive_v in_o and_o by_o the_o example_n of_o christ_n himself_o till_o we_o hereafter_o give_v other_o instance_n of_o he_o it_o be_v say_v that_o he_o can_v deny_v himself_o true_a that_o be_v in_o such_o thing_n as_o belong_v to_o his_o nature_n as_o his_o truth_n and_o faithfulness_n there_o instance_a in_o in_o his_o holiness_n goodness_n justice_n nature_n who_o though_o he_o can_v at_o all_o deny_v himself_o in_o his_o nature_n wisdom_n and_o the_o like_a no_o more_o need_v we_o have_v deny_v ourselves_o in_o any_o thing_n absolute_o at_o least_o if_o we_o have_v continue_v remain_v and_o still_o be_v ourselves_o as_o god_n make_v we_o at_o first_o in_o innocency_n righteousness_n knowledge_n holiness_n and_o in_o a_o estate_n of_o immortality_n and_o in_o such_o remnant_n of_o entire_a nature_n as_o yet_o abide_v with_o we_o not_o whole_o obliterated_a and_o deface_v we_o be_v not_o absolute_o nature_n yet_o according_a to_o his_o will_n he_o do_v deny_v himself_o for_o a_o great_a good_a in_o some_o such_o thing_n as_o without_o such_o respect_n he_o both_o may_v and_o do_v seek_v himself_o phil._n 2.6_o 7_o 8._o as_o in_o vail_v the_o glory_n of_o his_o godhead_n a_o while_n in_o our_o nature_n both_o natural_a spiritual_a and_o eternal_a which_o because_o they_o be_v many_o i_o will_v rather_o here_o point_n at_o they_o then_o handle_v they_o natural_a and_o these_o be_v of_o three_o sort_n
