they_o think_v the_o bell_n be_v so_o cast_v that_o at_o the_o last_o it_o must_v ring_v as_o they_o will_v but_o if_o fail_v they_o for_o the_o lord_n on_o who_o we_o believe_v which_o be_v our_o hope_n refuge_n and_o god_n can_v not_o only_o preserve_v we_o from_o their_o snare_n that_o we_o fall_v not_o therein_o but_o also_o when_o we_o fall_v into_o they_o and_o they_o think_v we_o be_v their_o captive_n he_o can_v and_o will_v deliver_v we_o yet_o thereout_o in_o like_a manner_n do_v god_n the_o lord_n preserve_v his_o faithful_a not_o only_o from_o the_o noisome_a sickness_n of_o the_o pestilence_n but_o also_o when_o they_o be_v take_v therewith_o and_o infect_v already_o he_o deliver_v they_o from_o it_o and_o make_v they_o whole_a again_o but_o how_o that_o come_v to_o pass_v and_o how_o we_o shall_v understand_v it_o it_o shall_v follow_v hereafter_o more_o clear_o this_o be_v now_o well_o to_o be_v mark_v also_o that_o the_o pestilence_n be_v a_o noisome_a sickness_n not_o because_o it_o bring_v death_n for_o that_o do_v all_o other_o mortal_a sickness_n likewise_o and_o death_n be_v no_o loss_n unto_o the_o faithful_a but_o advantage_n as_o paul_n sickness_n and_o at_o the_o last_o shall_v he_o save_v he_o that_o continue_v not_o without_o fruit_n but_o break_v out_o with_o right_a love_n and_o faithfulness_n towards_o his_o neighbour_n &_o desire_v also_o to_o bring_v he_o unto_o that_o point_n that_o he_o may_v believe_v and_o be_v partaker_n of_o all_o such_o goodness_n and_o benefit_n of_o god_n therefore_o do_v the_o prophet_n turn_v his_o word_n now_o also_o unto_o his_o neighbour_n and_o say_v furthermore_o he_o shall_v cover_v thou_o with_o his_o feather_n and_o thy_o hope_n shall_v be_v under_o his_o wing_n that_o be_v if_o thou_o also_o will_v put_v thy_o trust_n in_o he_o thou_o shall_v find_v it_o so_o likewise_o for_o he_o show_v such_o his_o benefit_n unto_o all_o and_o every_o one_o that_o put_v their_o disobedience_n and_o unthankefulnes_n therefore_o before_o all_o thing_n it_o shall_v be_v necessary_a that_o we_o refrain_v from_o the_o same_o repent_v and_o amend_v our_o life_n if_o we_o will_v be_v preserve_v and_o deliver_v from_o this_o horrible_a plague_n for_o if_o god_n punish_v we_o because_o of_o sin_n it_o be_v good_a to_o consider_v that_o we_o must_v first_o acknowledge_v and_o eschew_v our_o sin_n in_o case_n that_o he_o shall_v withdraw_v and_o take_v away_o his_o wrath_n &_o sharp_a punishment_n from_o us._n for_o if_o we_o continue_v in_o our_o evil_n sinful_a and_o culpable_a life_n certain_o he_o will_v not_o cease_v with_o the_o punishment_n but_o go_v forth_o more_o and_o more_o till_o he_o give_v and_o recompense_v according_a to_o our_o work_n but_o if_o we_o knowledge_n our_o sin_n refrain_v from_o it_o repent_v and_o ask_v grace_n then_o shall_v he_o also_o take_v away_o his_o wrath_n and_o this_o horrible_a wrath_n with_o other_o heavy_a burden_n as_o war_n &_o dearth_n that_o lie_v upon_o our_o neck_n shall_v he_o merciful_o take_v away_o from_o we_o again_o as_o holy_a paul_n say_v 1._o cor._n 11._o if_o we_o judge_v ourselves_o we_o shall_v not_o be_v judge_v but_o when_o we_o be_v judge_v we_o be_v chastened_a of_o the_o lord_n that_o we_o shall_v not_o bedamned_a with_o the_o world_n and_o out_o of_o all_o this_o may_v your_o charity_n well_o perceive_v how_o unwise_o and_o unchristianly_a they_o do_v that_o out_o of_o inordinate_a fear_n of_o this_o plague_n leave_v their_o call_n and_o office_n malicious_o withdraw_v the_o love_n help_v and_o faithfulness_n which_o they_o out_o of_o god_n commandment_n be_v bind_v to_o show_v unto_o their_o neighbour_n and_o so_o do_v sin_n grienous_o against_o the_o commandment_n of_o god_n for_o certain_o they_o do_v but_o stir_v up_o the_o wrath_n of_o god_n more_o earnest_o against_o themselves_o that_o he_o may_v the_o soon_o take_v hold_n upon_o they_o and_o pluck_v they_o away_o with_o this_o plague_n for_o man_n may_v hear_v on_o every_o side_n that_o some_o do_v shun_v and_o fly_v not_o only_o the_o sick_a but_o also_o the_o whole_a yea_o that_o which_o be_v more_o foolishness_n even_o the_o platter_n and_o candlestick_n which_o come_v out_o of_o strange_a house_n as_o though_o death_n do_v sure_o stick_v therein_o and_o out_o of_o such_o fond_a childish_a fear_n it_o come_v that_o not_o only_o some_o sick_a folk_n be_v suffer_v to_o die_v without_o any_o keep_n help_n and_o comfort_v but_o that_o woman_n also_o great_a with_o child_n be_v forsake_v in_o their_o most_o need_n for_o at_o such_o time_n few_o or_o none_o will_v come_v unto_o they_o yea_o a_o man_n may_v hear_v also_o that_o the_o child_n forsake_v their_o father_n and_o mother_n and_o one_o household_n body_n keep_v himself_o away_o from_o another_o and_o show_v no_o love_n unto_o he_o which_o nevertheless_o he_o will_v be_v glad_a to_o be_v show_v unto_o himself_o if_o he_o lie_v in_o like_a necessity_n how_o be_v it_o i_o suppose_v there_o come_v not_o many_o such_o chance_n to_o pass_v nevertheless_o i_o must_v speak_v thereof_o that_o it_o be_v do_v no_o more_o from_o henceforth_o for_o certain_o it_o be_v unwise_o and_o unchristianly_a handle_v and_o we_o need_v not_o think_v that_o the_o same_o be_v the_o way_n to_o escape_v this_o plague_n but_o rather_o a_o occasion_n that_o it_o reign_v more_o mighty_o over_o us._n for_o see_v it_o be_v sure_a as_o you_o have_v hear_v afore_o that_o such_o plague_n be_v send_v for_o punishment_n of_o our_o sin_n and_o christ_n have_v give_v we_o a_o new_a commandment_n that_o we_o shall_v love_v one_o another_o as_o he_o have_v love_v we_o it_o follow_v that_o the_o far_o we_o depart_v from_o the_o love_n of_o our_o neighbour_n the_o more_o we_o lade_v sin_n upon_o we_o and_o deserve_v this_o plague_n so_o much_o the_o more_o again_o the_o more_o diligent_o that_o we_o take_v heed_n unto_o the_o love_n of_o our_o neighbour_n the_o sure_a shall_v we_o be_v from_o this_o plague_n no_o man_n need_v to_o doubt_v thereof_o but_o here_o withal_o will_v i_o also_o counsel_n or_o compel_v no_o man_n to_o any_o help_v or_o no_o but_o it_o teach_v he_o to_o leave_v off_o from_o sin_n as_o from_o the_o very_a original_a cause_n of_o this_o plague_n and_o punishment_n and_o by_o true_a repentance_n and_o amendment_n of_o life_n to_o walk_v again_o in_o the_o right_a way_n for_o that_o be_v the_o only_a sure_a and_o wholesome_a fly_v in_o this_o dangerous_a time_n whereby_o a_o man_n may_v escape_v this_o plague_n but_o whither_o a_o man_n ought_v to_o fly_v thereof_o will_v we_o hear_v the_o holy_a ghost_n by_o the_o prophet_n in_o this_o psalm_n he_o know_v it_o much_o better_a than_o we_o can_v think_v and_o say_v after_o this_o manner_n verse_n 1._o who_o so_o sit_v under_o the_o defence_n of_o the_o high_a and_o abide_v under_o the_o shadow_n of_o the_o almighty_a 2_o he_o say_v but_o my_o word_n shall_v not_o pass_v away_o say_v the_o lord_n but_o that_o you_o may_v understande_v they_o right_a and_o well_o you_o shall_v remember_v that_o it_o be_v the_o use_n of_o the_o as_o much_o as_o to_o say_v as_o to_o abide_v under_o the_o shadow_n of_o the_o almighty_a and_o with_o these_o word_n mean_v the_o holy_a prophet_n nothing_o else_o but_o who_o so_o put_v his_o trust_n in_o god_n with_o a_o right_n sure_a christian_a belief_n &_o give_v himself_o over_o into_o his_o protection_n and_o defence_n for_o such_o people_n do_v god_n receive_v to_o grace_v they_o hold_v he_o for_o his_o own_o dear_a child_n &_o even_o so_o they_o be_v &_o give_v they_o his_o holy_a spirit_n which_o work_v in_o they_o true_a salvation_n and_o godly_a work_n therefore_o remain_v so_o keep_v himself_o thence_o or_o fly_v thither_o hold_v himself_o well_o or_o use_v good_a physic_n but_o who_o so_o put_v his_o trust_n in_o god_n not_o that_o the_o foresay_a good_a thing_n be_v evil_a or_o may_v not_o be_v have_v or_o use_v with_o profit_n but_o that_o they_o where_o faith_n be_v not_o may_v even_o as_o soon_o do_v harm_n as_o good_a and_o be_v in_o no_o wise_a able_a to_o delivere_a from_o the_o wrath_n of_o god_n but_o what_o do_v the_o beléever_n he_o say_v unto_o the_o lord_n my_o hope_n but_o this_o do_v not_o the_o ungodly_a and_o unbeléever_n but_o set_v their_o hope_n in_o the_o foresay_a point_n put_v their_o trust_n in_o they_o and_o boast_v thereon_o &_o so_o commit_v spiritual_a whoredom_n therewith_o and_o make_v idol_n thereof_o but_o to_o god_n do_v which_o they_o trust_v unto_o can_v help_v they_o when_o they_o will_v hide_v themselves_o on_o the_o backside_n thereof_o it_o be_v even_o as_o much_o as_o when_o one_o hide_v he_o behind_o a_o ladder_n and_o when_o they_o will_v seek_v help_n thereby_o if_o be_v even_o like_a as_o a_o wolf_n shall_v defend_v a_o sheep_n or_o a_o goose_n but_o thus_o go_v it_o not_o with_o the_o believer_n for_o who_o so_o put_v his_o trust_n in_o the_o lord_n shall_v not_o be_v confound_v therefore_o say_v he_o not_o only_o that_o the_o lord_n be_v his_o hope_n but_o also_o his_o strong_a hold_n which_o he_o may_v fly_v unto_o in_o the_o which_o he_o may_v shut_v himself_o close_o and_o be_v deliver_v therein_o as_o solomon_n say_v in_o the_o xviii_o chapter_n of_o the_o proverbe_n the_o name_n of_o the_o lord_n be_v a_o strong_a castle_n the_o righteous_a fly_v unto_o it_o and_o shall_v be_v defend_v for_o the_o unbeliever_n have_v their_o hope_n even_o in_o their_o good_n but_o in_o necessity_n they_o find_v no_o refuge_n as_o the_o faithful_a have_v a_o strong_a hold_n and_o high_a castle_n in_o god_n the_o lord_n and_o though_o the_o unbeliever_n have_v their_o whole_a will_n all_o their_o life_n long_o yet_o have_v it_o a_o evil_a end_n as_o it_o have_v with_o the_o rich_a man_n which_o be_v bury_v in_o hell_n luke_n chapter_n xvi_o for_o who_o so_o beléeve_v not_o shall_v be_v damn_v again_o though_o the_o faithful_a be_v plague_v and_o persecute_v all_o his_o life_n long_o so_o that_o he_o can_v not_o see_v how_o he_o may_v be_v deliver_v yet_o have_v he_o this_o comfort_n that_o the_o lord_n be_v his_o god_n that_o be_v that_o he_o can_v help_v and_o deliver_v he_o as_o a_o almighty_a lord_n yea_o after_o such_o a_o fashion_n and_o way_n as_o neither_o he_o himself_o nor_o any_o man_n reason_n can_v think_v or_o devise_v and_o though_o he_o do_v it_o not_o yet_o do_v not_o the_o faithful_a despair_n but_o let_v the_o lord_n be_v his_o god_n on_o who_o he_o hope_v that_o be_v at_o who_o hand_n he_o look_v for_o all_o good_a in_o the_o life_n for_o to_o come_v and_o everlasting_a for_o hope_n see_v and_o look_v on_o that_o which_o be_v to_o come_v which_o as_o yet_o be_v hide_v as_o paul_n say_v rom._n the_o viij_o chapt._n hope_v that_o be_v see_v be_v no_o hope_n for_o how_o can_v a_o man_n hope_v for_o that_o which_o be_v see_v but_o if_o we_o hope_v for_o that_o which_o we_o see_v not_o we_o look_v for_o it_o by_o patience_n and_o so_o this_o be_v the_o meaning_n the_o unbeléever_n have_v their_o hope_n in_o the_o creature_n and_o be_v afraid_a of_o god_n the_o faithful_a have_v his_o hope_n to_o god_n and_o be_v lord_n over_o the_o creature_n the_o unbeléever_n miscarry_v and_o by_o the_o creature_n find_v they_o no_o help_n in_o need_n the_o faithful_a miscarry_v not_o but_o god_n be_v unto_o they_o a_o strong_a hold_n the_o unbeliever_n may_v well_o have_v their_o will_n as_o long_o as_o they_o live_v but_o at_o the_o last_o through_o their_o despair_n there_o follow_v everlasting_a damnation_n the_o faithful_a may_v have_v disquietness_n and_o temptation_n all_o their_o life_n long_o but_o at_o the_o last_o through_o their_o hope_n there_o follow_v everlasting_a life_n such_o hope_n shall_v they_o have_v and_o they_o have_v it_o indeed_o that_o though_o they_o must_v lie_v under_o as_o long_o as_o they_o live_v yet_o after_o death_n they_o shall_v inherit_v everlasting_a life_n but_o certain_o it_o come_v not_o to_o pass_v that_o they_o must_v always_o lie_v under_o for_o god_n be_v faithful_a and_o suffer_v not_o he_o to_o be_v tempt_v above_o their_o strength_n but_o make_v the_o temptation_n so_o to_o have_v
