which_o he_o here_o rehearse_v into_o two_o side_n the_o right_a and_o the_o left_a on_o the_o right_a side_n these_o four_o fight_n with_o the_o spirit_n gluttony_n drunkenness_n chamber_v and_o be_v this_o thy_o holiness_n which_o seem_v so_o goodly_a unto_o thou_o which_o when_o it_o marvellous_o counterfeit_v a_o show_n of_o godliness_n it_o draw_v miserable_a man_n to_o the_o follow_v although_o he_o apply_v himself_o to_o good_a work_n yet_o he_o do_v it_o not_o with_o that_o mind_n with_o which_o a_o son_n do_v that_o be_v with_o a_o mind_n that_o be_v free_a willing_a &_o god_n they_o never_o become_v the_o son_n of_o god_n or_o holy_a nevertheless_o they_o be_v exercise_v with_o the_o work_n of_o the_o law_n and_o be_v well_o weary_v wherefore_o they_o be_v and_o remain_v servant_n for_o ever_o and_o they_o receive_v no_o other_o reward_n but_o these_o temporal_a thing_n namely_o quietness_n of_o life_n abundance_n of_o good_n dignity_n and_o honour_n etc._n etc._n which_o we_o see_v to_o be_v usual_a among_o the_o follower_n of_o popish_a religion_n than_o who_o there_o be_v none_o at_o this_o day_n that_o live_v more_o pleasaunt_o more_o welthy_o more_o glorious_o and_o honourable_o but_o this_o be_v their_o reward_n they_o be_v servant_n and_o not_o son_n wherefore_o in_o death_n they_o shall_v be_v thrust_v from_o all_o good_a thing_n neither_o shall_v any_o portion_n of_o eternal_a inheritance_n come_v unto_o they_o who_o in_o this_o present_a life_n will_v believe_v nothing_o thereof_o so_o therefore_o it_o be_v that_o servant_n and_o conscience_n thrall_n unto_o sin_n the_o wrath_n of_o god_n and_o hellish_a pain_n to_o hang_v over_o we_o and_o all_o thing_n to_o be_v in_o that_o case_n as_o though_o we_o be_v past_o all_o recovery_n likewise_o when_o we_o have_v conflict_n with_o the_o devil_n it_o must_v appear_v as_o though_o truth_n shall_v give_v place_n to_o error_n and_o satan_n shall_v drive_v the_o word_n of_o god_n out_o of_o the_o whole_a world_n and_o he_o himself_o reign_v for_o a_o god_n with_o his_o delusion_n &_o deceit_n neither_o stand_v the_o case_n any_o otherwise_o when_o it_o come_v to_o pass_v that_o we_o be_v try_v of_o the_o world_n it_o must_v needs_o be_v that_o it_o shall_v great_o rage_v and_o cruel_o persecute_v we_o so_o that_o it_o shall_v seem_v that_o no_o man_n at_o all_o be_v condemn_v by_o the_o scripture_n all_o those_o thing_n which_o have_v be_v hitherto_o bring_v in_o under_o a_o false_a name_n of_o religion_n and_o to_o teach_v that_o they_o be_v to_o be_v reject_v comfort_n to_o true_a preacher_n that_o they_o know_v before_o that_o they_o shall_v suffer_v persecution_n especial_o to_o preacher_n that_o they_o be_v certain_a before_o that_o as_o soon_o as_o they_o shall_v begin_v to_o preach_v christ_n to_o the_o world_n they_o must_v suffer_v persecution_n &_o that_o it_o can_v not_o be_v otherwise_o so_o that_o it_o be_v a_o sure_a sign_n and_o therefore_o to_o be_v wish_v that_o it_o be_v true_a christian_a preach_v if_o it_o be_v try_v with_o persecution_n especial_o of_o the_o holy_a learned_a and_o wise_a man_n of_o the_o world_n as_o it_o be_v a_o undouted_a sign_n also_o that_o it_o be_v unchristian_a preach_n if_o it_o be_v praise_v common_o and_o honour_v of_o the_o world_n according_a to_o that_o saying_n luke_n 6_z bless_a be_v you_o when_o man_n hate_v you_o and_o put_v out_o your_o name_n as_o evil_a for_o the_o son_n of_o man_n sake_n for_o so_o do_v their_o father_n to_o the_o prophet_n now_o mark_v how_o our_o dare_v boast_v themselves_o to_o be_v preacher_n and_o teacher_n of_o christ_n and_o worshipper_n of_o god_n persecution_n of_o who_o the_o preacher_n of_o god_n word_n must_v look_v for_o &_o desire_v help_n in_o the_o time_n of_o trouble_n and_o persecution_n the_o next_o thing_n whereby_o this_o deed_n do_v comfort_n and_o encourage_v the_o preacher_n of_o christ_n be_v that_o it_o show_v where_o help_n be_v to_o be_v ask_v when_o a_o tempest_n be_v rise_v to_o wit_n not_o of_o the_o world_n for_o not_o man_n wisdom_n or_o power_n but_o christ_n himself_o and_o he_o alone_o be_v able_a to_o help_v they_o he_o they_o must_v call_v upon_o in_o every_o distress_n with_o full_a confidence_n in_o he_o they_o must_v trust_v as_o his_o disciple_n here_o do_v for_o unless_o they_o
