consider_v upon_o what_o we_o read_v or_o hear_v in_o our_o own_o mind_n and_o pray_v to_o god_n to_o make_v all_o these_o mean_v effectual_a for_o our_o information_n and_o if_o ever_o we_o expect_v this_o in_o the_o school_n be_v call_v a_o supina_fw-la supine_n slothful_a careless_a ignorance_n and_o if_o it_o be_v of_o such_o thing_n as_o lay_v near_o in_o our_o way_n and_o may_v have_v be_v know_v without_o much_o pain_n or_o much_o seek_n it_o be_v call_v assectata_fw-la gross_a or_o affect_a ignorance_n but_o beside_o this_o sort_n of_o wilful_a ignorance_n of_o our_o duty_n through_o a_o wilful_a neglect_n of_o those_o mean_n which_o be_v necessary_a to_o the_o knowledge_n of_o it_o there_o be_v another_o which_o be_v high_o and_o more_o enormous_a and_o that_o be_v second_o when_o we_o do_v not_o only_o sleight_v the_o mean_n of_o know_v god_n law_n but_o moreover_o use_v those_o of_o confound_v or_o mistake_v it_o for_o our_o knowledge_n of_o thing_n be_v then_o make_v perfect_a and_o useful_a when_o it_o be_v clear_a and_o distinct_a and_o our_o assent_n and_o belief_n of_o thing_n be_v then_o gain_v when_o their_o evidence_n be_v represent_v and_o due_o consider_v of_o but_o now_o as_o for_o the_o employ_v of_o man_n thought_n in_o clear_v or_o confound_v believe_v or_o disbelieve_v of_o the_o law_n of_o god_n it_o be_v perfect_o in_o their_o own_o power_n whether_o to_o use_v it_o on_o one_o side_n or_o on_o the_o other_o and_o common_o it_o be_v their_o pleasure_n to_o use_v it_o on_o the_o worse_a for_o they_o will_v consider_v only_o of_o the_o difficulty_n and_o intricacy_n of_o god_n law_n which_o may_v darken_v and_o disturb_v confound_v and_o perplex_v their_o thought_n about_o they_o and_o attend_v only_o to_o such_o exception_n as_o they_o can_v make_v against_o they_o which_o may_v unsettle_v their_o mind_n either_o about_o the_o meaning_n or_o the_o truth_n of_o they_o so_o that_o after_o all_o their_o read_n and_o consider_v of_o they_o they_o shall_v not_o understand_v but_o err_v and_o mistake_v they_o as_o it_o happen_v to_o all_o those_o who_o have_v dispute_v themselves_o out_o of_o the_o knowledge_n of_o their_o duty_n until_o as_o isaiah_n say_v they_o call_v evil_a good_a and_o good_a evil_n put_v darkness_n for_o light_n and_o light_n for_o darkness_n isai._n 5.20_o and_o when_o man_n be_v ignorant_a of_o their_o duty_n because_o they_o choose_v thus_o to_o endeavour_v it_o and_o take_v pain_n for_o it_o this_o ignorance_n be_v voluntary_a and_o wilful_a with_o a_o witness_n these_o two_o reason_n of_o confound_v or_o discredit_v it_o be_v the_o cause_n of_o their_o wilful_a ignorance_n and_o that_o which_o make_v they_o guilty_a of_o both_o these_o be_v either_o the_o gross_a idleness_n or_o the_o profligate_n wickedness_n of_o their_o heart_n which_o be_v whole_o enslave_v to_o some_o belove_a lust_n or_o sin_n they_o be_v wretched_o idle_a and_o therefore_o they_o will_v not_o learn_v their_o duty_n because_o that_o be_v painful_a they_o be_v great_o wicked_a and_o so_o care_v not_o for_o the_o knowledge_n of_o the_o law_n because_o that_o will_v disquiet_v they_o man_n love_v darkness_n say_v our_o saviour_n better_a than_o light_n because_o their_o work_n be_v evil_a they_o hate_v the_o light_n and_o will_v not_o come_v to_o it_o lest_o their_o deed_n shall_v be_v reprove_v by_o it_o john_n 3.19_o 20._o because_o they_o hate_v and_o fear_v the_o law_n they_o neglect_v the_o mean_n of_o know_v it_o nay_o they_o pick_v quarrel_n with_o it_o and_o endeavour_v all_o they_o can_v to_o perplex_v or_o darken_v to_o evacuate_v or_o disparage_v it_o so_o that_o our_o ignorance_n be_v then_o wilful_a when_o we_o be_v therefore_o ignorant_a because_o we_o neglect_v the_o mean_n of_o knowledge_n or_o industrious_o endeavour_v to_o be_v mistake_v and_o that_o because_o we_o be_v either_o too_o idle_a to_o learn_v or_o too_o wicked_a to_o care_v for_o the_o knowledge_n of_o our_o duty_n the_o idleness_n and_o wickedness_n of_o our_o heart_n be_v the_o first_o spring_n and_o the_o neglect_n of_o mean_n and_o industrious_a pervert_n of_o the_o truth_n be_v the_o great_a productive_a instrument_n of_o our_o wilful_a ignorance_n which_o be_v therefore_o call_v voluntary_a and_o wilful_a because_o the_o principle_n and_o the_o instrument_n the_o motive_n and_o the_o mean_n to_o it_o be_v both_o under_o the_o power_n and_o choice_n of_o our_o own_o will_n and_o these_o thing_n make_v our_o ignorance_n wilful_a viz._n a_o wilful_a neglect_n of_o the_o mean_n of_o knowledge_n or_o a_o wilful_a pervert_n of_o those_o law_n which_o we_o be_v to_o know_v we_o shall_v easy_o discern_v second_o what_o ignorance_n be_v unwilled_a and_o involuntary_a namely_o that_o which_o imply_v a_o freedom_n from_o and_o a_o absence_n

at_o one_o time_n as_o it_o be_v with_o baptism_n but_o at_o all_o time_n during_o your_o whole_a life_n for_o in_o this_o manner_n of_o a_o federal_n eat_v and_o drink_v of_o this_o bread_n and_o
