understand_v not_o only_o of_o the_o ignorant_a and_o common_a sort_n of_o people_n the_o laity_n but_o the_o learned_a among_o themselves_o they_o can_v tell_v when_o they_o have_v the_o true_a sense_n and_o meaning_n of_o the_o word_n of_o god_n no_o not_o of_o the_o thing_n that_o be_v fundamental_a unless_o the_o church_n consent_n with_o they_o nay_o the_o great_a rabbin_n and_o doctor_n among_o we_o can_v understand_v the_o scripture_n without_o consent_n of_o the_o church_n oh_o consider_v have_v god_n send_v unto_o we_o his_o word_n as_o a_o letter_n and_o epistle_n to_o testify_v his_o mind_n unto_o we_o and_o unto_o his_o church_n and_o have_v he_o shut_v it_o up_o in_o such_o doubtful_a term_n that_o a_o man_n can_v tell_v when_o he_o have_v the_o understanding_n of_o it_o he_o send_v it_o to_o testify_v his_o mind_n and_o will_n unto_o we_o and_o have_v he_o so_o shut_v it_o up_o that_o we_o can_v tell_v when_o we_o have_v the_o sense_n of_o it_o oh_o fearful_a blasphemy_n why_o it_o be_v better_a that_o we_o have_v no_o scripture_n write_v at_o all_o far_o better_o then_o to_o have_v it_o so_o doubtful_a but_o there_o be_v no_o jot_n of_o it_o but_o serve_v for_o the_o good_a of_o his_o people_n both_o in_o this_o life_n and_o the_o life_n to_o come_v god_n have_v so_o order_v the_o tongue_n of_o the_o holy_a writer_n and_o penman_n of_o scripture_n god_n be_v merciful_a but_o he_o be_v also_o true_a true_a in_o his_o threaten_n as_o well_o as_o in_o his_o promise_n yea_o forget_v to_o apply_v these_o place_n full_a of_o comfort_n with_o the_o consideration_n of_o that_o which_o moses_n say_v deut._n 29.20_o if_o any_o man_n go_v on_o in_o the_o stubbornness_n of_o his_o own_o heart_n and_o add_v drunkenness_n to_o thirst_n one_o sin_n or_o other_o it_o can_v possible_o be_v thou_o have_v have_v love_v token_n of_o his_o favour_n though_o they_o seem_v to_o be_v lose_v yet_o the_o lord_n will_v come_v with_o abundance_n of_o grace_n child_n the_o man_n of_o the_o world_n see_v god_n child_n walk_v humble_o before_o the_o lord_n and_o look_v upon_o their_o humble_a and_o low_a carriage_n and_o behaviour_n which_o they_o account_v baseness_n they_o present_o shoot_v out_o their_o fool_n bolt_n that_o they_o be_v the_o reprobate_n they_o look_v upon_o the_o outside_n and_o see_v not_o what_o be_v within_o they_o be_v not_o able_a to_o see_v what_o mercy_n the_o lord_n vouchsafe_v unto_o his_o child_n even_o in_o this_o world_n in_o that_o he_o give_v they_o assurance_n of_o his_o love_n unto_o they_o in_o jesus_n christ_n and_o a_o feel_n of_o the_o sweetness_n of_o his_o grace_n and_o of_o mercy_n and_o the_o pardon_n of_o their_o sin_n this_o they_o be_v not_o able_a to_o see_v through_o the_o darkness_n of_o affliction_n and_o the_o cloud_n of_o their_o misery_n now_o this_o be_v to_o be_v remember_v and_o to_o be_v think_v upon_o for_o our_o comfort_n that_o be_v god_n child_n in_o respect_n of_o this_o censure_n that_o howsoever_o the_o grace_n and_o the_o mercy_n of_o god_n be_v obscure_v and_o they_o can_v see_v it_o yet_o comfort_v thyself_o the_o time_n shall_v come_v that_o god-wil_a make_v it_o appear_v to_o man_n and_o angel_n that_o he_o be_v a_o gracious_a god_n and_o that_o he_o be_v rich_a in_o mercy_n unto_o they_o and_o that_o the_o love_n of_o god_n be_v
