he_o sell_v they_o into_o the_o hand_n of_o he_o and_o their_o enemy_n we_o may_v further_o instance_n in_o solomon_n asa_n jehoshaphat_n josiah_n hezekiah_n and_o other_o all_o which_o make_v this_o good_a that_o god_n spare_v not_o his_o own_o people_n when_o they_o sin_n against_o he_o two_o reason_n may_v be_v give_v hereof_o 1._o first_o that_o the_o lord_n may_v declare_v himself_o to_o be_v un_fw-fr adversary_n to_o sin_n in_o all_o man_n 4._o and_o that_o the_o wicked_a may_v see_v he_o be_v not_o partial_a to_o any_o when_o his_o commandment_n be_v not_o regard_v second_o 2._o that_o he_o may_v reduce_v his_o servant_n from_o run_v on_o headlong_o with_o the_o wicked_a to_o perdition_n for_o be_v we_o altogether_o exempt_v from_o the_o rod_n how_o wanton_a and_o froward_a will_v we_o grow_v and_o into_o how_o many_o peril_n will_v we_o cast_v ourselves_o and_o so_o say_v saint_n paul_n 32._o when_o we_o be_v judge_v we_o be_v chastened_a of_o the_o lord_n that_o we_o may_v not_o be_v condemn_v with_o the_o world_n but_o do_v not_o christ_n give_v himself_o for_o his_o church_n object_n and_o shed_v his_o blood_n for_o their_o redemption_n be_v not_o their_o sin_n chastisement_n be_v inflict_v as_o furtherance_n of_o sanctification_n not_o as_o mean_n of_o satisfaction_n and_o thus_o you_o have_v this_o objection_n answer_v and_o my_o doctrine_n confirm_v viz._n god_n will_v not_o spare_v any_o no_o not_o his_o own_o people_n when_o they_o sin_n against_o he_o which_o be_v so_o 1_o this_o may_v terrify_v wicked_a and_o ungodly_a one_o who_o make_v a_o trade_n of_o sin_n drive_v after_o it_o as_o it_o be_v say_v of_o jehu_n in_o another_o case_n as_o if_o they_o be_v make_v and_o yet_o imagine_v because_o god_n for_o a_o time_n 21._o hold_v his_o peace_n and_o keep_v silence_n that_o he_o be_v such_o a_o one_o as_o themselves_o a_o lover_n and_o approver_n of_o their_o wicked_a way_n but_o oh_o you_o fool_n how_o long_o will_v you_o love_v folly_n and_o when_o will_v you_o grow_v wise_a do_v god_n correct_v the_o flock_n of_o his_o own_o pasture_n the_o child_n of_o his_o own_o household_n and_o shall_v you_o go_v scotfree_a do_v the_o intercession_n of_o jesus_n christ_n god_n only_a and_o well-beloved_a in_o who_o he_o be_v well_o please_v keep_v off_o such_o bitter_a thing_n from_o they_o who_o but_o now_o and_o then_o break_v out_o woe_n and_o alas_o then_o what_o shall_v become_v of_o you_o who_o never_o pray_v sigh_n nor_o shed_v tear_n for_o sin_n for_o who_o god_n bless_a spirit_n make_v no_o request_n and_o who_o have_v no_o interest_n in_o the_o mediation_n and_o intercession_n of_o that_o just_a and_o righteous_a advocate_n who_o sin_n not_o of_o infirmity_n and_o weakness_n but_o bold_o and_o presumptuous_o with_o a_o high_a hand_n against_o the_o lord_n think_v of_o a_o answer_n to_o those_o interrogatory_n which_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n propound_v to_o thou_o in_o holy_a writ_n 29._o loe_o i_o
