of_o christ_n wherefore_o he_o say_v when_o he_o ascend_v up_o &c._n &c._n to_o the_o 17._o verse_n the_o apostle_n in_o former_a chapter_n have_v open_v the_o mystery_n of_o the_o gospel_n but_o at_o this_o he_o begin_v to_o deduce_v certain_a rule_n of_o life_n which_o spring_n therefrom_o and_o he_o do_v special_o recommend_v unto_o the_o ephesian_n three_o christian_a virtue_n unity_n piety_n and_o constancy_n he_o will_v have_v they_o all_o agree_v in_o god_n truth_n and_o express_v that_o truth_n in_o their_o life_n and_o not_o waver_v in_o their_o life_n for_o fear_n of_o the_o cross_n but_o more_o particular_o touch_v unity_n he_o tell_v they_o wherein_o it_o consist_v and_o wherefore_o it_o must_v be_v entertain_v wherein_o it_o consist_v we_o learn_v in_o the_o verse_n that_o go_v before_o but_o wherefore_o it_o must_v be_v entertain_v we_o be_v teach_v in_o these_o that_o now_o i_o have_v read_v unto_o you_o the_o reason_n be_v partly_o the_o mean_n whereby_o and_o partly_o the_o end_n for_o which_o we_o receive_v the_o gift_n of_o god_n the_o mean_n be_v two_o one_o principal_a which_o be_v christ_n the_o other_o instrumental_a which_o be_v his_o minister_n christ_n the_o principal_a mean_n whereby_o we_o obtain_v the_o blessing_n of_o god_n and_o here_o we_o be_v to_o see_v first_o what_o christ_n do_v then_o what_o right_o he_o have_v to_o do_v it_o what_o christ_n do_v be_v set_v down_o three_o way_n but_o all_o yield_v but_o one_o sense_n first_o he_o give_v grace_n second_o he_o give_v gift_n and_o three_o he_o fill_v all_o thing_n that_o be_v by_o he_o we_o have_v god_n blessing_n but_o we_o may_v resolve_v they_o into_o two_o point_n the_o gift_n and_o the_o giver_n the_o gift_n be_v grace_n and_o that_o grace_n have_v power_n to_o fill_v and_o this_o be_v nothing_o but_o a_o description_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n which_o descend_v this_o day_n for_o he_o be_v the_o fill_a grace_n of_o god_n of_o this_o gift_n the_o giver_n be_v christ_n it_o be_v here_o call_v express_o his_o gift_n and_o he_o give_v it_o discreet_o because_o according_a to_o a_o measure_n and_o yet_o universal_o not_o one_o of_o the_o church_n which_o do_v not_o partake_v it_o to_o every_o one_o of_o we_o be_v give_v grace_n this_o christ_n do_v and_o he_o do_v no_o more_o than_o he_o may_v his_o right_a to_o do_v it_o be_v gather_v out_o of_o his_o
