and_o it_o be_v only_a faith_n that_o bring_v christ_n and_o the_o soul_n together_o in_o the_o time_n of_o temptation_n and_o when_o christ_n come_v in_o satan_n go_v out_o but_o you_o will_v say_v and_o all_o this_o comfort_n will_v i_o give_v thou_o and_o all_o this_o profit_n will_v i_o give_v thou_o and_o all_o this_o repute_n and_o honour_n will_v i_o give_v thou_o thus_o as_o a_o serpent_n sometime_o he_o tempt_v as_o a_o lion_n for_o he_o go_v up_o and_o down_o as_o a_o roar_a lion_n seek_v who_o he_o may_v devour_v and_o when_o satan_n tempt_v as_o a_o lion_n than_o he_o do_v roar_v terrible_a object_n before_o a_o man_n it_o be_v say_v that_o satan_n come_v to_o our_o saviour_n christ_n and_o he_o find_v nothing_o in_o he_o so_o he_o prevail_v not_o but_o satan_n come_v to_o to_o we_o and_o find_v in_o we_o a_o disposition_n to_o be_v move_v with_o fear_n by_o terrible_a object_n wherefore_o now_o my_o beloved_a do_v you_o desire_v to_o prevent_v the_o mischief_n of_o a_o temptation_n oh_o labour_v more_o and_o more_o to_o die_v unto_o all_o the_o object_n of_o your_o outward_a love_n and_o the_o object_n of_o fear_n die_v to_o the_o object_n of_o love_n get_v your_o heart_n mortify_v to_o these_o two_o object_n of_o love_n and_o fear_n and_o be_v sure_a of_o this_o if_o thou_o will_v prevent_v temptation_n that_o you_o labour_v more_o and_o more_o to_o walk_v in_o the_o light_n satan_n be_v the_o prince_n of_o darkness_n and_o he_o walk_v in_o darkness_n and_o he_o tempt_v in_o darkness_n when_o night_n come_v the_o beast_n go_v forth_o to_o their_o prey_n say_v the_o psalmist_n and_o when_o satan_n see_v a_o poor_a ignorant_a soul_n that_o walk_v in_o the_o dark_a say_v he_o here_o be_v a_o fit_a prey_n for_o i_o oh_o therefore_o you_o that_o be_v ignorant_a and_o have_v sit_v ignorant_a under_o the_o ordinance_n for_o the_o lord_n sake_n labour_v to_o get_v more_o light_n and_o more_o knowledge_n get_v your_o heart_n open_v unto_o every_o truth_n of_o god_n labour_v to_o acquaint_v yourselves_o more_o with_o gospel-light_n and_o set_v your_o bosom_n open_a unto_o every_o truth_n of_o the_o lord_n and_o belove_v whether_o you_o will_v overcome_v or_o whither_o you_o will_v prevent_v temptation_n what_o ever_o mean_v you_o use_v be_v sure_a of_o this_o that_o you_o take_v your_o temptation_n and_o dip_v it_o in_o the_o blood_n of_o christ_n take_v a_o candle_n that_o be_v light_v and_o only_o blow_v out_o the_o candle_n the_o candle_n be_v easy_o light_v again_o but_o when_o the_o candle_n be_v out_o take_v it_o and_o put_v it_o into_o the_o water_n and_o then_o it_o be_v not_o so_o easy_o light_v again_o so_o now_o a_o temptation_n come_v and_o you_o blow_v it_o out_o with_o a_o resolution_n and_o you_o will_v yield_v to_o it_o alas_o it_o be_v easy_o light_v again_o but_o now_o take_v this_o candle_n take_v this_o temptation_n and_o come_v and_o dip_v it_o in_o the_o blood_n of_o jesus_n christ_n and_o it_o will_v not_o be_v so_o easy_o light_v again_o so_o you_o shall_v be_v able_a to_o prevent_v temptation_n for_o the_o time_n to_o come_v never_o rest_v alone_o in_o resolve_v but_o oh_o take_v your_o temptation_n and_o dip_v it_o in_o the_o blood_n of_o jesus_n christ_n and_o if_o that_o you_o do_v overcome_v your_o temptation_n at_o any_o time_n be_v thankful_a to_o god_n if_o you_o have_v more_o
