the_o eye_n full_o but_o grace_n without_o wonder_n can_v and_o as_o man_n have_v not_o a_o eye_n to_o see_v the_o wonderful_a work_n of_o god_n spiritual_o until_o it_o be_v give_v so_o much_o less_o have_v he_o a_o eye_n to_o see_v the_o wonder_n of_o the_o word_n of_o god_n till_o it_o be_v give_v he_o from_o above_o verse_n 12._o this_o have_v be_v the_o practice_n of_o god_n child_n in_o not_o capable_a of_o addition_n but_o yet_o our_o voluntary_a promise_n serve_v to_o inflame_v our_o lukewarmnesse_n and_o stir_v up_o our_o backwardness_n to_o obedience_n indeed_o a_o religious_a resolution_n be_v as_o the_o put_n of_o a_o new_a rowel_n into_o a_o spur_n which_o make_v it_o the_o sharp_a the_o twist_v of_o another_o thread_n into_o the_o rope_n whereby_o it_o be_v the_o strong_a and_o hence_o it_o be_v that_o as_o god_n in_o condescension_n to_o our_o weakness_n have_v annex_v a_o oath_n to_o his_o promise_n not_o to_o make_v they_o firm_a in_o themselves_o but_o to_o confirm_v we_o the_o more_o so_o godly_a man_n in_o consideration_n of_o their_o own_o dulness_n adjoyn_v their_o promise_n to_o god_n precept_n not_o to_o strengthen_v their_o force_n in_o enjoin_v but_o to_o quicken_v themselves_o the_o more_o in_o observe_v verse_n 18._o nothing_o be_v more_o bitter_a than_o sin_n and_o therefore_o compare_v here_o to_o gall_n and_o wormwood_n lest_o
