¶_o the_o twenty-four_o lecture_n upon_o the_o 7._o 8._o and_o 9_o verse_n 7_o who_o in_o the_o day_n of_o his_o flesh_n do_v offer_v up_o prayer_n and_o supplication_n with_o strong_a cry_v and_o tear_n unto_o he_o that_o be_v able_a to_o save_v he_o from_o death_n &_o be_v also_o hear_v in_o that_o which_o he_o fear_v 8_o and_o though_o he_o be_v the_o son_n yet_o learn_v he_o obedience_n by_o the_o thing_n which_o he_o suffer_v 9_o and_o be_v consecrate_v be_v make_v the_o author_n of_o eternal_a salvation_n unto_o all_o they_o that_o obey_v he_o the_o apostle_n in_o this_o chapter_n begin_v to_o prove_v our_o saviour_n christ_n to_o be_v the_o only_a high_a priest_n of_o the_o new_a testament_n and_o because_o the_o people_n of_o israel_n have_v so_o great_a affiance_n in_o the_o priesthood_n of_o aaron_n that_o they_o can_v hardly_o be_v draw_v away_o from_o the_o detain_v of_o it_o think_v assure_o that_o unto_o that_o priesthood_n the_o law_n and_o testimony_n of_o god_n have_v be_v tie_v for_o ever_o and_o not_o know_v that_o all_o ceremony_n of_o yâ—_n the_o law_n be_v ordain_v until_o the_o time_n of_o reformation_n in_o which_o christ_n shall_v appear_v &_o change_v that_o priesthood_n to_o become_v himself_o unto_o we_o a_o priest_n of_o a_o better_a testament_n therefore_o the_o apostle_n first_o set_v forth_o the_o property_n of_o the_o priesthood_n according_a unto_o the_o law_n and_o after_o by_o comparison_n appli_v they_o unto_o christ_n in_o who_o they_o all_o shine_n in_o a_o much_o more_o excellent_a sort_n than_o before_o in_o aaron_n and_o therefore_o it_o can_v not_o be_v neither_o breach_n nor_o dishonour_n undishonour_n unto_o the_o law_n of_o god_n nor_o the_o priesthood_n of_o it_o if_o the_o shadow_n and_o the_o figure_n which_o be_v aaron_n shall_v now_o be_v take_v away_o and_o the_o body_n and_o the_o truth_n which_o be_v jesus_n christ_n shall_v be_v establish_v for_o ever_o the_o property_n which_o the_o apostle_n speak_v of_o necessary_o appertein_v unto_o every_o priest_n as_o unto_o one_o that_o must_v be_v a_o mediator_n be_v these_o that_o first_o he_o shall_v be_v man_n as_o we_o be_v as_z aaron_n and_o his_o posterity_n be_v for_o neither_o angel_n nor_o archangel_n nor_o principality_n nor_o power_n can_v do_v this_o work_n to_o present_a flesh_n and_o blood_n unto_o
