this_o last_o particular_a be_v consider_v do_v make_v i_o bold_o yet_o humble_o to_o offer_v this_o as_o a_o rule_n viz._n that_o when_o god_n do_v exhort_v we_o not_o to_o suffer_v sin_n to_o have_v dominion_n over_o we_o then_o and_o there_o we_o be_v to_o understand_v the_o command_a power_n of_o sin_n but_o when_o he_o promise_v on_o his_o part_n that_o sin_n shall_v not_o have_v dominion_n over_o we_o then_o and_o there_o we_o be_v to_o understand_v the_o condemn_a power_n of_o sin_n the_o former_a be_v man_n duty_n be_v fit_a matter_n for_o a_o command_n the_o latter_a be_v god_n mercy_n be_v fit_a matter_n for_o a_o promise_n yet_o let_v i_o add_v these_o two_o thing_n in_o the_o way_n of_o caution_n 1._o i_o do_v acknowledge_v that_o the_o usual_a interpretation_n of_o rom._n 6.14_o which_o i_o do_v for_o the_o reason_n aforesaid_a dissent_n from_o be_v a_o misinterpretation_n if_o indeed_o such_o of_o no_o dangerous_a consequence_n because_o these_o two_o power_n of_o sin_n like_o hypocrates_n his_o twin_n do_v decay_n and_o flourish_v do_v live_v and_o die_v and_o revive_v together_o i_o mean_v if_o or_o whensoever_o the_o one_o do_v revive_v the_o other_o do_v revive_v also_o now_o in_o such_o case_n i_o think_v it_o my_o duty_n however_o to_o offer_v what_o strength_n of_o reason_n or_o scripture_n i_o have_v for_o my_o own_o sense_n and_o apprehension_n nevertheless_o not_o much_o or_o stiff_o to_o contend_v with_o any_o man_n of_o a_o contrary_a mind_n but_o rather_o in_o the_o spirit_n of_o meekness_n to_o suffer_v every_o man_n to_o abound_v in_o his_o own_o sense_n according_a to_o the_o analogy_n or_o proportion_n of_o faith_n from_o which_o those_o do_v not_o vary_v who_o do_v understand_v grace_n to_o perform_v duty_n and_o the_o successful_a exercise_n of_o it_o to_o be_v promise_v also_o 2._o albeit_o in_o my_o exposition_n of_o rom._n 6.14_o i_o seem_v to_o have_v take_v off_o the_o edge_n of_o one_o weapon_n or_o rather_o to_o have_v endeavour_v the_o wrest_n of_o one_o weapon_n out_o of_o the_o hand_n of_o our_o divine_n in_o their_o contest_v with_o the_o arminian_o about_o the_o apostasy_n of_o the_o saint_n nevertheless_o i_o have_v do_v no_o prejudice_n as_o i_o think_v to_o the_o doctrine_n of_o perseverance_n as_o common_o teach_v and_o receive_v by_o our_o divine_n for_o i_o deny_v not_o but_o that_o there_o be_v as_o much_o promise_v in_o other_o scripture_n as_o do_v amount_v unto_o or_o accord_v with_o that_o usual_a interpretation_n of_o rom._n 6.14_o which_o i_o do_v profess_o dissent_v from_o but_o to_o return_v 137._o see_v mr._n burges_n of_o justification_n p._n 137._o as_o soon_o as_o sin_n be_v commit_v there_o do_v accrue_v unto_o god_n a_o moral_a right_n or_o power_n as_o a_o
