this_o we_o conceive_v to_o be_v a_o very_a bold_a proposition_n not_o warrant_v as_o we_o also_o conceive_v by_o any_o example_n &_o tend_v to_o introduce_v a_o ill_a precedent_n in_o after_o time_n for_o it_o be_v never_o see_v that_o record_n be_v take_v of_o the_o file_n but_o where_o there_o be_v some_o corruption_n or_o fraud_n or_o some_o illegal_a or_o unjust_a carriage_n use_v in_o and_o be_v reverse_v which_o be_v far_o from_o the_o present_a case_n and_o this_o proposition_n tend_v to_o cross_v the_o just_a right_n of_o your_o majesty_n and_o to_o make_v the_o disposition_n by_o the_o confederate_a popish_a rebel_n of_o debt_n due_a to_o protestant_n and_o by_o the_o say_a rebel_n by_o fraud_n and_o force_n levy_v and_o dispose_v in_o maintenance_n of_o their_o rebellion_n which_o common_o they_o call_v by_o the_o name_n of_o public_a use_n to_o be_v in_o equal_a degree_n with_o the_o debt_n owe_v by_o the_o rebel_n and_o by_o they_o all_o forfeit_v and_o many_o of_o they_o by_o law_n due_o levy_v which_o be_v a_o most_o unequal_a and_o unjust_a thing_n and_o the_o say_a proposition_n can_v nor_o do_v make_v offer_n to_o have_v the_o popish_a confederate_n cut_v off_o from_o the_o debt_n due_a to_o they_o which_o they_o have_v just_o forfeit_v but_o only_o for_o a_o colour_n of_o consideration_n to_o have_v the_o protestant_n lose_v such_o debt_n just_o due_a to_o they_o as_o have_v be_v unjust_o take_v from_o they_o who_o have_v do_v no_o act_n at_o all_o to_o forfeit_v they_o 6._o we_o know_v not_o of_o any_o office_n find_v on_o feign_a title_n nor_o what_o the_o confederate_n may_v demand_v in_o respect_n of_o any_o grace_n promise_v by_o your_o majesty_n which_o we_o intend_v not_o nor_o have_v any_o occasion_n to_o dispute_v but_o do_v humble_o conceive_v that_o all_o those_o who_o have_v commit_v treason_n in_o the_o late_a rebellion_n subsequent_a to_o your_o majesty_n promise_n of_o those_o grace_n have_v thereby_o forfeit_v the_o their_o rebellion_n which_o we_o conceive_v be_v of_o great_a importance_n for_o
your_o majesty_n may_v now_o be_v please_v and_o may_v take_v just_a occasion_n to_o enlarge_v the_o time_n when_o that_o kingdom_n may_v again_o be_v settle_v in_o a_o happy_a and_o firm_a peace_n and_o as_o to_o member_n of_o the_o house_n of_o commons_o the_o same_o be_v most_o fit_a as_o we_o humble_o conceive_v to_o be_v regulate_v by_o the_o law_n and_o statute_n of_o that_o kingdom_n 11._o this_o proposition_n concern_v your_o majesty_n high_a court_n of_o parliament_n both_o of_o england_n and_o ireland_n and_o be_v beyond_o our_o ability_n who_o be_v not_o acquaint_v with_o the_o record_n and_o precedent_n of_o this_o nature_n to_o give_v a_o answer_n unto_o and_o therefore_o we_o humble_o desire_v your_o majesty_n pardon_n for_o not_o answer_v unto_o the_o same_o 12._o the_o council-table_n have_v always_o exercise_v jurisdiction_n in_o some_o case_n ever_o since_o the_o english_a government_n be_v settle_v in_o that_o kingdom_n and_o be_v of_o so_o long_a
