lord_n the_o precedent_n councillor_n and_o commonalty_n of_o the_o three_o confederation_n general_n on_o the_o other_o party_n do_v promise_n that_o between_o his_o majesty_n as_o duke_n of_o milan_n together_o with_o the_o subject_n of_o the_o say_a duchy_n and_o the_o three_o confederation_n general_n with_o all_o their_o subject_n in_o valtelina_n bombio_n and_o the_o county_n of_o chiavenna_n shall_v be_v a_o true_a sincere_a and_o perpetual_a amity_n correspondency_n neighbourhood_n and_o union_n so_o at_o neither_o party_n shall_v suffer_v themselves_o to_o be_v employ_v upon_o any_o service_n or_o occasion_n to_o the_o prejudice_n and_o hurt_n of_o the_o other_o nor_o shall_v suffer_v that_o through_o their_o country_n or_o their_o subject_n any_o passage_n counsel_n or_o aid_n shall_v be_v give_v direct_o or_o indirect_o which_o may_v secret_o or_o open_o damnify_v either_o party_n but_o that_o they_o shall_v oppose_v and_o resist_v they_o with_o all_o possible_a diligence_n and_o power_n and_o when_o either_o of_o the_o party_n shall_v know_v or_o understand_v any_o secret_a practice_n or_o attempt_v whereby_o may_v be_v engage_v the_o prejudice_n and_o hurt_n of_o the_o other_o that_o then_o they_o shall_v without_o delay_n give_v notice_n thereof_o and_o procure_v with_o all_o diligence_n and_o faithfulness_n to_o divert_v the_o same_o and_o because_o his_o excellency_n understand_v that_o the_o three_o confederation_n general_n will_v willing_o that_o the_o fort_n build_v in_o the_o year_n 1603._o upon_o the_o confine_n of_o valtelina_n be_v demolish_v as_o a_o pawn_n and_o pledge_v that_o they_o be_v again_o restore_v into_o the_o good_a favour_n and_o assure_a confidence_n of_o his_o majesty_n he_o promise_v in_o testimony_n of_o his_o majesty_n good_a affection_n to_o the_o three_o confederation_n general_n that_o so_o soon_o as_o this_o say_a capitulation_n shall_v be_v conclude_v swear_v and_o sign_v by_o both_o the_o party_n forthwith_o the_o fort_n and_o sconce_n belong_v to_o it_o shall_v effectual_o and_o real_o be_v demolish_v and_o that_o the_o say_a fort_n shall_v never_o be_v rebuilt_a so_o long_o as_o the_o content_n of_o this_o capitulation_n be_v faithful_o and_o inviolable_o keep_v and_o no_o second_o cause_n be_v give_v his_o majesty_n of_o diffidence_n and_o doubt_n of_o they_o as_o be_v in_o
