reynolds_n will_v not_o admit_v the_o trial_n at_o the_o request_n of_o other_o but_o dissmiss_v they_o then_o the_o clerk_n of_o the_o crown_n call_v they_o by_o their_o name_n upon_o their_o recognizance_n the_o number_n of_o fourteen_o or_o fifteen_o do_v appear_v judge_n reynolds_n adjudge_v the_o indictment_n to_o be_v vexatious_a have_v 31_o mention_v therein_o but_o will_v not_o have_v the_o patience_n to_o hear_v the_o trial_n be_v work_v upon_o by_o other_o as_o i_o will_v justify_v put_v i_o off_o have_v at_o least_o twenty_o witness_n then_o in_o court_n to_o prove_v the_o matter_n of_o fact_n and_o order_v the_o say_a people_n to_o be_v dismiss_v and_o addmit_v they_o not_o to_o their_o trial_n then_o i_o pray_v his_o lordship_n in_o open_a court_n to_o do_v i_o put_v off_o the_o trial_n aforesaid_a after_o the_o say_a petition_n be_v read_v i_o be_v call_v to_o appear_v before_o the_o lod_n lieutenent_n and_o council_n the_o lord_n chief_a justice_n keating_n allege_v before_o the_o lord_n lieutenant_n and_o council_n that_o the_o people_n aforesaid_a be_v extra_fw-la but_o sir_n richard_n reynolds_n can_v not_o deny_v they_o be_v in_o court_n reynolds_n keating_n and_o reynolds_n which_o i_o will_v justify_v maintain_v and_o prove_v by_o many_o good_a witness_n but_o they_o have_v no_o other_o way_n to_o smother_v the_o illegal_a proceed_n appoint_v and_o authorize_v the_o high_a sheriff_n of_o the_o county_n of_o limerick_n sir_n william_n king_n kt._n governor_n of_o limerick_n lieuten_n the_o commission_n from_o the_o lord_n lieuten_n sir_n george_n inglesby_n kt._n simon_n eyton_n george_n ailmer_n john_n odel_n and_o richard_n maguair_n esquire_n or_o any_o four_o or_o more_o of_o they_o to_o examine_v the_o matter_n in_o the_o information_n hereunto_o annex_v and_o make_v speedy_a return_n of_o the_o truth_n thereof_o to_o this_o board_n by_o examination_n of_o witness_n or_o otherwise_o in_o convenient_a time_n the_o three_o four_o and_o five_o day_n of_o february_n 1679._o by_o garret_n fitz_n gerald_n esq_n high_a sheriff_n of_o the_o county_n of_o limerick_n simon_n eyton_n george_n ailmer_n and_o john_n odel_n esquire_n upon_o the_o full_a examination_n and_o hear_n of_o ten_o sufficient_a witness_n who_o prove_v the_o particular_n mention_v in_o the_o say_a information_n as_o aforesaid_a and_o find_v twenty_o more_o ready_a to_o aver_v the_o same_o return_v the_o say_a commission_n to_o the_o lord_n lieutenant_n and_o council_n with_o the_o deposition_n of_o the_o ten_o that_o swear_v positive_a to_o the_o name_n of_o those_o that_o break_v my_o house_n and_o hear_v they_o say_v kill_v the_o rebel_n and_o knock_v he_o in_o the_o head_n before_o he_o go_v any_o further_a and_o the_o say_a commissioner_n do_v certify_v to_o the_o lord_n lieutenant_n and_o council_n that_o there_o have_v be_v a_o great_a many_o more_o ready_a to_o depose_v the_o same_o as_o the_o ten_o do_v in_o their_o deposition_n aforesaid_a whereupon_o several_a of_o the_o riotous_a person_n aforesaid_a be_v again_o take_v up_o and_o bring_v to_o trial_n and_o though_o the_o break_n my_o house_n in_o the_o night_n and_o menace_a word_n before_o recite_v be_v full_o swear_v against_o they_o by_o divers_a witness_n against_o who_o they_o have_v no_o colour_n of_o exception_n yet_o such_o be_v the_o prevalency_n of_o the_o conspirator_n and_o the_o jury_n so_o prepare_v that_o they_o will_v not_o find_v they_o guilty_a after_o which_o i_o go_v to_o dublin_n and_o from_o thence_o come_v for_o dear_a countryman_n my_o family_n and_o self_n have_v so_o severe_o suffer_v for_o their_o loyalty_n by_o the_o late_a rebellion_n in_o ireland_n and_o have_v the_o opportunity_n to_o discover_v another_o most_o horrid_a conspiracy_n against_o our_o gracious_a sovereign_n
