undertake_v to_o employ_v all_o his_o endeavour_n and_o to_o do_v all_o that_o he_o can_v in_o order_n to_o obtain_v of_o those_o sovereign_a power_n at_o least_o of_o the_o emperor_n and_o king_n of_o spain_n a_o neutrality_n for_o italy_n until_o the_o general_n peace_n shall_v be_v conclude_v and_o to_o signify_v their_o consent_n by_o a_o particular_a treaty_n which_o shall_v be_v make_v to_o that_o purpose_n or_o for_o want_v of_o such_o a_o treaty_n by_o declaration_n which_o the_o say_a emperor_n and_o the_o king_n of_o spain_n shall_v make_v to_o the_o pope_n and_o to_o the_o republic_n of_o venice_n and_o which_o shall_v be_v at_o the_o same_o time_n follow_v by_o the_o retreat_n and_o withdraw_n of_o all_o the_o force_n which_o the_o ally_n have_v at_o present_a in_o italy_n as_o it_o shall_v be_v hereafter_o more_o particular_o specify_v and_o in_o case_n the_o abovementioned_a prince_n do_v not_o consent_v to_o such_o a_o neutrality_n in_o italy_n at_o his_o royal_a highnesses_n instance_n to_o the_o emperor_n and_o to_o the_o king_n of_o spain_n his_o royal_a highness_n do_v engage_v to_o enter_v into_o a_o offensive_a and_o defensive_a league_n with_o the_o king_n until_o a_o general_n peace_n be_v conclude_v act_v joint_o with_o his_o majesty_n and_o his_o own_o proper_a force_n as_o become_v good_a and_o sincere_a ally_n for_o the_o common_a interest_n and_o to_o make_v war_n against_o the_o state_n of_o milan_n and_o against_o all_o those_o who_o shall_v oppose_v this_o present_a treaty_n take_v effect_n and_o as_o a_o evident_a demonstration_n of_o a_o return_n of_o the_o king_n amity_n towards_o his_o royal_a highness_n his_o majesty_n do_v willing_o consent_v and_o do_v promise_n that_o the_o city_n and_o citadel_n of_o pignerol_n the_o fort_n of_o st._n bridgit_n the_o perouse_a with_o other_o for●●_n depend_v on_o the_o same_o shall_v be_v demolish_v as_o to_o the_o fortification_n only_o at_o the_o king_n charge_n and_o after_o the_o aforesaid_a fortification_n be_v demolish_v they_o shall_v all_o be_v restore_v to_o his_o royal_a highness_n as_o well_o as_o all_o the_o territory_n and_o dominion_n comprise_v under_o the_o name_n of_o the_o government_n of_o pignerol_n and_o which_o do_v belong_v to_o the_o house_n of_o savoy_n before_o the_o session_n or_o surrender_n that_o victor_n amadeus_n the_o first_o duke_n of_o that_o name_n make_v unto_o lewis_n the_o xiiith_o the_o which_o city_n dismantle_v citadel_n and_o demolish_a fort_n and_o territory_n shall_v be_v likewise_o surrender_v to_o his_o royal_a highness_n to_o be_v hold_v in_o sovereignty_n and_o to_o be_v by_o he_o enjoy_v full_o and_o perpetual_o by_o he_o and_o his_o successor_n from_o henceforth_o as_o thing_n to_o he_o of_o right_o belong_v by_o virtue_n of_o which_o present_a surrender_n his_o royal_a highness_n do_v engage_v and_o promise_v as_o well_o for_o himself_o his_o heir_n and_o successor_n or_o other_o by_o any_o way_n claim_v neither_o to_o rebuild_a no●_n cause_n to_o be_v rebuilt_a the_o aforesaid_a fortification_n nor_o to_o cause_v any_o new_a one_o to_o be_v build_v upon_o and_o in_o the_o space_n and_o limit_n of_o the_o say_a territory_n fund_n
