wr_fw-mi diev_n et_fw-fr mon_fw-fr droit_n honi_fw-fr soit_fw-fr qvi_fw-fr mal_fw-fr y_fw-fr pense_fw-fr by_o the_o lord_n justice_n a_o proclamation_n for_o apprehend_v william_n berkenhead_n tho._n cantuar_n j._n summer_n c._n s._n shrewsbury_n godolphin_n whereas_o william_n berkenhead_n be_v a_o middle_a size_a man_n with_o a_o little_a face_n of_o brown_a complexion_n about_o fifty_o year_n of_o age_n and_o have_v go_v by_o the_o name_n of_o fish_n east_n west_n south_n and_o baker_n and_o be_v former_o a_o custom-house_n officer_n be_v heretofore_o commit_v to_o his_o majesty_n prison_n of_o newgate_n for_o high_a treason_n as_o be_v guilty_a of_o the_o late_a horrid_a conspiracy_n and_o do_v on_o saturday_n the_o nine_o and_o twenty_o of_o this_o instant_a august_n make_v his_o escape_n out_o of_o the_o say_a prison_n we_o therefore_o with_o the_o advice_n of_o his_o majesty_n privy_a council_n have_v think_v fit_a to_o issue_v this_o proclamation_n command_v all_o his_o majesty_n subject_n to_o discover_v take_v and_o apprehend_v the_o say_a william_n berkenhead_n wherever_o he_o may_v be_v find_v and_o to_o carry_v he_o to_o the_o next_o justy_n of_o the_o peace_n or_o chief_a magistrate_n who_o be_v hereby_o require_v to_o commit_v he_o to_o the_o next_o goal_n there_o to_o remain_v till_o he_o shall_v be_v deliver_v by_o due_a course_n of_o law_n and_o we_o do_v hereby_o require_v such_o justice_n of_o the_o peace_n or_o chief_a magistrate_n to_o give_v notice_n thereof_o to_o his_o majesty_n privy_a council_n or_o one_o of_o his_o majesty_n principal_a secretary_n of_o state_n and_o we_o do_v hereby_o publish_v and_o declare_v that_o whosoever_o shall_v conceal_v the_o say_a william_n berkenhead_n shall_v be_v proceed_v against_o with_o the_o utmost_a severity_n according_a to_o law_n and_o whosoever_o shall_v discover_v and_o apprehend_v the_o say_a william_n berkenhead_n and_o bring_v he_o before_o such_o justice_n of_o the_o peace_n or_o chief_a magistrate_n shall_v receive_v for_o reward_v the_o sum_n of_o one_o thousand_o pound_n which_o say_v sum_n of_o one_o thousand_o pound_n the_o lord_n commissioner_n of_o his_o majesty_n treasury_n be_v hereby_o direct_v to_o pay_n give_v at_o the_o council_n chamber_n in_o whitehall_n the_o one_o and_o thirty_o day_n of_o august_n 1696._o in_o the_o eight_o year_n of_o his_o majesty_n reign_n god_n save_v the_o king_n london_n print_v by_o charles_n bill_n and_o the_o executrix_n of_o thomas_n newcomb_n decease_a printer_n to_o the_o king_n most_o excellent_a majesty_n 1696._o
