that_o the_o arrow_n which_o he_o shoot_v against_o the_o government_n require_v to_o be_v plant_v be_v shoot_v only_o against_o the_o government_n which_o be_v practise_v by_o the_o apostle_n and_o the_o primitive_a church_n and_o therefore_o there_o can_v be_v no_o just_a charge_n of_o any_o falsification_n use_v in_o the_o gather_n of_o his_o argument_n against_o which_o i_o argue_v as_o follow_v whatsoever_o will_v draw_v with_o iâ—_n no_o alteration_n of_o the_o state_n of_o government_n and_o but_o few_o or_o small_a alteration_n of_o the_o law_n the_o same_o may_v rather_o bring_v the_o end_n that_o be_v desire_v viz._n a_o godly_a peace_n and_o christian_a unity_n both_o in_o church_n and_o common_a weal_n than_o the_o overthrow_n of_o the_o gospel_n among_o we_o but_o the_o desire_v viz_o a_o godly_a peace_n and_o christian_a unity_n both_o in_o church_n and_o common_a weal_n than_o the_o overthrow_n of_o the_o gospel_n among_o we_o the_o truth_n of_o which_o argument_n will_v then_o appear_v when_o the_o admonitor_n argument_n shall_v be_v convince_v of_o error_n for_o the_o disproof_n of_o the_o one_o be_v the_o proof_n of_o the_o other_o and_o if_o his_o fall_n then_o can_v this_o but_o follow_v and_o touch_v the_o invaliditie_n of_o the_o first_o proposition_n of_o his_o second_o sillogisme_n we_o affirm_v that_o the_o alteration_n of_o the_o state_n of_o government_n and_o of_o the_o law_n be_v they_o never_o so_o many_o and_o never_o so_o great_a can_v never_o bring_v any_o overthrow_n of_o the_o gospel_n if_o the_o same_o alteration_n be_v make_v by_o authority_n of_o new_a law_n can_v be_v overthrow_v by_o the_o same_o law_n be_v more_o absurd_a for_o the_o new_a law_n give_v life_n to_o the_o entertain_v of_o the_o gospel_n by_o mean_n whereof_o the_o gospel_n can_v not_o discontinue_v so_o long_o as_o those_o law_n continue_v and_o hereupon_o also_o it_o follow_v that_o no_o alteration_n of_o law_n for_o sweep_v and_o cleanse_v of_o the_o church_n for_o cast_v and_o whip_a buyer_n and_o seller_n and_o chopper_n of_o church_n out_o of_o the_o church_n can_v overthrow_v the_o gospel_n for_o if_o all_o dross_n filth_n and_o corruption_n be_v cast_v out_o if_o all_o let_v and_o impediment_n be_v do_v away_o it_o can_v be_v but_o that_o the_o gospel_n must_v needs_o have_v a_o free_a and_o large_a passage_n as_o slame_n that_o much_o water_n shall_v never_o quench_v it_o nor_o any_o flood_n ever_o drown_v it_o but_o if_o he_o shall_v rather_o mean_v that_o the_o alteration_n of_o the_o state_n of_o receit_n moreover_o forsomuch_o as_o here_o be_v mention_v make_v how_o the_o publisher_n of_o this_o book_n do_v consider_v on_o the_o one_o part_n of_o thing_n that_o be_v require_v to_o be_v confederate_n themselves_o in_o one_o for_o be_v they_o not_o weak_a in_o power_n poor_a in_o purse_n and_o of_o far_o less_o reputation_n than_o the_o former_a and_o yet_o nevertheless_o these_o part_n be_v at_o such_o deadly_a feud_n one_o against_o the_o other_o and_o at_o such_o a_o irreconcilable_a enmity_n between_o themselves_o that_o the_o case_n stand_v now_o between_o they_o as_o sometime_o it_o stand_v with_o caesar_n and_o pompey_n not_o whether_o of_o they_o shall_v reign_v but_o whether_o of_o they_o shall_v live_v and_o how_o then_o can_v these_o part_n thus_o divide_v protestant_n can_v never_o overthrow_v the_o gospel_n the_o admonisher_n for_o difference_n sake_n to_o dubb_v with_o the_o knight_n hood_n of_o precisian_n or_o precise_a and_o puritan_n protestant_n why_o they_o be_v the_o only_a and_o principal_a spokesman_n and_o petitioner_n for_o the_o apostolical_a discipline_n require_v to_o be_v plant_v nay_o these_o man_n out_o of_o the_o holy_a scripture_n so_o resolute_o be_v persuade_v of_o the_o truth_n of_o god_n contain_v therein_o as_o without_o which_o they_o know_v perfect_o that_o the_o doctrine_n of_o the_o gospel_n can_v never_o powerful_o flourish_v or_o be_v entertain_v with_o so_o high_a a_o majesty_n in_o the_o heart_n of_o man_n as_o it_o ought_v to_o be_v gospel_n the_o gospel_n have_v overthrow_v the_o papist_n therefore_o he_o can_v never_o overthrow_v the_o gospel_n and_o as_o for_o the_o other_o sort_n the_o papist_n i_o mean_v alas_o that_o poor_a rat_n what_o overthrow_n can_v he_o work_v to_o the_o gospel_n who_o bane_n the_o gospel_n have_v wrought_v so_o long_o since_o alas_o this_o faint_a ghost_n be_v so_o far_o spend_v his_o disease_n grow_v so_o desperate_a and_o his_o sickness_n now_o at_o such_o a_o hay-now-hay_n as_o all_o the_o physic_n of_o all_o the_o physician_n in_o the_o world_n can_v not_o recover_v his_o health_n or_o once_o take_v away_o his_o headache_n this_o silly_a enemy_n to_o the_o gospel_n into_o squadron_n cause_v they_o to_o march_v rank_a by_o rank_n and_o troop_n by_o troop_n and_o deliver_v unto_o the_o king_n a_o muster_a roll_n of_o all_o the_o name_n will_v draw_v no_o alteration_n of_o the_o law_n of_o the_o realm_n with_o it_o to_o his_o first_o so_o now_o also_o to_o his_o second_o i_o answer_v negative_o and_o affirm_v that_o the_o plant_n of_o the_o say_v apostolical_a government_n will_v not_o draw_v with_o it_o any_o the_o least_o alteration_n of_o any_o part_n of_o that_o temporal_a state_n of_o government_n nor_o almost_o of_o of_o our_o country_n people_n common_a weal_n and_o law_n as_o in_o our_o particular_a answer_n to_o his_o particular_a reason_n shall_v more_o at_o large_a appear_v in_o all_o new_a and_o

the_o king_n and_o from_o this_o avoidance_n abolition_n and_o nullity_n of_o foreign_a and_o papal_a canon_n law_n because_o sublato_fw-la principali_fw-la tolluntur_fw-la accessoria_fw-la it_o follow_v that_o all_o office_n and_o function_n of_o papal_a archbishop_n papal_a bishop_n papal_a suffragans_n papal_a archdeacon_n papal_a dean_n and_o chapter_n papal_a priest_n papal_a deacon_n papal_a subdeacons_n papal_a chancellor_n papal_a vicar_n general_n papal_a commissary_n and_o papal_a official_o mere_o depend_v upon_o the_o authority_n and_o draw_v from_o the_o rule_n and_o ground_n of_o that_o law_n be_v likewise_o adnihilate_v and_o of_o no_o value_n howbeit_o for_o so_o much_o as_o by_o the_o opinion_n of_o some_o learned_a civilian_n force_n by_o the_o opinion_n of_o
