of_o they_o be_v ofttimes_o subject_a to_o this_o end_n and_o they_o be_v always_o best_a and_o most_o perfect_a when_o they_o be_v so_o use_v as_o that_o we_o may_v not_o only_o profit_v ourselves_o they_o do_v express_v be_v great_o fit_v to_o increase_v they_o thus_o fit_a be_v they_o to_o edify_v in_o themselves_o and_o this_o great_a number_n of_o true_o pious_a and_o devout_a soul_n have_v find_v and_o from_o their_o own_o experience_n can_v testify_v concern_v they_o and_o now_o if_o any_o shall_v still_o charge_v such_o excellent_a prayer_n as_o unedifying_a where_o lie_v the_o blame_n whether_o in_o the_o deadness_n of_o the_o prayer_n or_o the_o indevotion_n and_o unpreparedness_n of_o their_o own_o heart_n if_o a_o man_n think_v the_o most_o wholesome_a and_o substantial_a food_n distasteful_a or_o insipid_a it_o be_v a_o sign_n he_o have_v a_o deprave_a appetite_n and_o if_o he_o feel_v no_o devotion_n in_o the_o use_n of_o such_o pious_a wise_a and_o profitable_a form_n it_o be_v a_o sign_n his_o soul_n be_v sick_a and_o that_o his_o spiritual_a sense_n have_v lose_v its_o taste_n since_o the_o most_o agreeable_a food_n be_v no_o better_o rellish_v by_o it_o he_o be_v indevout_a not_o because_o the_o prayer_n do_v not_o suggest_v devout_a thing_n nor_o clothe_v they_o in_o proper_a and_o devout_a expression_n but_o because_o he_o do_v not_o hold_v his_o mind_n attent_a or_o have_v not_o prepare_v his_o heart_n to_o be_v affect_v with_o they_o so_o that_o if_o these_o our_o brethren_n will_v take_v the_o godly_a care_n and_o pain_n to_o mend_v this_o fault_n which_o be_v in_o themselves_o and_o come_v with_o reverent_a and_o prepare_a mind_n they_o will_v not_o i_o believe_v complain_v any_o long_o of_o deadness_n and_o want_n of_o edification_n in_o the_o church_n prayer_n which_o be_v not_o only_o good_a but_o as_o those_o who_o use_v they_o without_o prejudice_n and_o with_o devotion_n in_o their_o heart_n can_v testify_v very_o excellent_a for_o that_o purpose_n but_o though_o they_o can_v not_o so_o well_o edify_v themselves_o in_o they_o yet_o by_o the_o love_n of_o christ_n i_o will_v beseech_v they_o to_o seek_v no_o long_o to_o build_v up_o only_o themselves_o but_o to_o edify_v the_o church_n of_o christ_n which_o they_o pull_v down_o by_o their_o separation_n make_v conscience_n of_o peace_n and_o unity_n brethren_n and_o think_v they_o as_o necessary_a thing_n as_o any_o other_o in_o religion_n remember_v it_o be_v one_o of_o the_o necessary_a property_n of_o charity_n to_o have_v such_o
