the_o lord_n i_o dare_v not_o beg_v any_o mercy_n nor_o stand_v in_o his_o presence_n i_o be_o fill_v with_o the_o sense_n of_o my_o own_o unworthiness_n answ_n i_o tell_v thou_o though_o thou_o be_v fill_v with_o the_o sense_n of_o thy_o unworthiness_n yet_o thou_o may_v and_o aught_o to_o cry_v to_o the_o lord_n and_o pour_v out_o thy_o soul_n in_o supplication_n the_o publican_n that_o go_v be_v in_o affliction_n and_o the_o spirit_n up_o and_o cry_v it_o will_v be_v a_o good_a evidence_n that_o the_o soul_n have_v receive_v good_a by_o the_o affliction_n and_o to_o say_v no_o more_o the_o lord_n will_v soon_o draw_v nigh_o to_o that_o soul_n that_o shall_v thus_o be_v find_v wait_v for_o he_o when_o the_o flesh_n shall_v be_v silent_a and_o the_o spirit_n cry_v the_o lord_n will_v soon_o hear_v that_o cry_n you_o know_v the_o lord_n be_v a_o tender_a heart_a father_n and_o he_o will_v not_o suffer_v any_o of_o his_o child_n to_o be_v tempt_v above_o what_o they_o be_v able_a to_o bear_v he_o will_v not_o suffer_v they_o to_o sink_v under_o their_o burden_n but_o will_v come_v in_o with_o deliver_v mercy_n for_o the_o lord_n do_v sometime_o hear_v the_o cry_n of_o the_o flesh_n so_o he_o have_v hear_v the_o cry_n of_o the_o flesh_n though_o not_o the_o sinful_a cry_n yet_o the_o cry_n of_o nature_n the_o lord_n have_v hear_v that_o cry_n he_o hear_v the_o cry_n of_o ishamel_n when_o as_o he_o be_v ready_a to_o perish_v for_o thirst_n the_o lad_n cry_v and_o he_o hear_v the_o cry_n of_o the_o lad_n and_o the_o lord_n open_v the_o eye_n of_o hagar_n and_o let_v there_o be_v darkness_n when_o god_n say_v let_v there_o be_v darkness_n in_o such_o a_o man_n estate_n all_o his_o comfort_n shall_v wither_v when_o god_n say_v let_v there_o be_v darkness_n in_o such_o a_o man_n family_n there_o shall_v be_v darkness_n for_o he_o can_v turn_v the_o sun_n or_o moon_n or_o star_n into_o darkness_n he_o can_v take_v away_o the_o head_n of_o the_o family_n the_o child_n that_o be_v as_o the_o star_n of_o the_o family_n if_o god_n speak_v the_o word_n though_o there_o be_v never_o so_o many_o in_o the_o family_n he_o can_v turn_v light_n into_o in_o the_o inward_a man_n even_o as_o it_o be_v with_o the_o air_n at_o midnight_n darkness_n be_v of_o god_n create_v and_o therefore_o whenever_o the_o lord_n bring_v we_o into_o a_o state_n of_o darkness_n affliction_n and_o temptation_n either_o outward_a or_o inward_a it_o be_v time_n then_o to_o worship_v the_o lord_n second_o 2._o we_o shall_v then_o worship_v the_o lord_n in_o time_n of_o affliction_n and_o temptation_n for_o it_o be_v the_o lord_n only_o that_o can_v enable_v a_o man_n to_o bear_v temptation_n or_o affliction_n there_o be_v need_n i_o say_v that_o we_o shall_v rebuke_v the_o distemper_n and_o silence_v the_o temptation_n for_o certain_o both_o affliction_n and_o temptation_n as_o i_o say_v before_o they_o be_v the_o lord_n messenger_n they_o be_v the_o army_n of_o the_o lord_n of_o host_n they_o go_v and_o they_o come_v at_o his_o command_n he_o give_v out_o the_o word_n and_o he_o bid_v affliction_n to_o charge_n and_o it_o charge_v and_o if_o he_o bid_v it_o to_o retreat_n it_o shall_v retreat_v god_n only_o can_v deliver_v from_o affliction_n and_o from_o temptation_n therefore_o sure_o it_o be_v our_o duty_n to_o worship_n in_o affliction_n and_o temptation_n five_o 5._o it_o be_v the_o end_n of_o all_o affliction_n and_o temptation_n to_o bring_v the_o soul_n near_o to_o god_n to_o drive_v the_o soul_n nigh_o god_n we_o be_v very_o enemy_n it_o be_v full_a of_o rage_n they_o that_o be_v upon_o the_o sea_n they_o meet_v with_o nothing_o but_o toss_v up_o and_o down_o what_o a_o mighty_a combustion_n be_v there_o in_o the_o wave_n their_o soul_n at_o sea_n without_o a_o anchor_n alas_o what_o will_v they_o do_v when_o the_o storm_n shall_v arise_v when_o when_o the_o wrath_n of_o god_n shall_v arise_v what_o will_v you_o do_v o_o that_o god_n will_v cause_v you_o to_o come_v to_o christ_n that_o you_o may_v have_v this_o anchor_n that_o be_v sure_a and_o steadfast_a that_o be_v the_o first_o second_o 2._o let_v not_o god_n
